Abstract
The invention relates to an assembly for a motor vehicle, the assembly comprising a motor vehicle structure (12) with a support area (50), a brake system master cylinder (22), the master cylinder comprising a main body (54) and an actuating rod (56) mounted to slide relative to the main body; an assembly interface (28) for the main body (54) of the master cylinder (22) against the support area of the structure; and means (70) for attaching the main body (54) to the support area (50). The assembly interface (28) comprises a straight retaining groove (30) and a straight retaining rail (58) within the straight retaining groove (30) to hold the master cylinder relative to the structure (12).
