Abstract

Method for sealing the end of a thermoplastic composite pipe and pipe obtained. The present invention relates to a method for sealing one end of a thermoplastic composite pipe, comprising the steps of: - supplying a thermoplastic composite pipe comprising a tubular inner sheath and a reinforcing composite structure comprising a high-performance semi-crystalline thermoplastic Psc1 polymer having a melting temperature Tf1, - deposition by dynamic gas spraying, onto a portion of the reinforcing composite structure located at one end of the thermoplastic composite pipe, of a powder of a high-performance amorphous thermoplastic Pam polymer, thereby forming a junction layer; - deposition by dynamic gas spraying, onto at least a portion of said junction layer, of a powder of a high-performance semi-crystalline thermoplastic Psc2 polymer, thereby forming a sealing layer.The resulting thermoplastic composite pipe and a flexible conduit comprising it.
