Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a hydroconversion catalyst in the form of bimetallic sulfide MMoS nanoparticles in single-layered form, where M is a group VIIIB metal such as nickel or cobalt, from organosoluble precursors containing metal-sulfur bonds. The present invention also relates to a hydroconversion process for a heavy hydrocarbon feedstock employing at least one entrained-boiling hybrid bed reactor in the presence of entrained solid catalyst(s) prepared according to said process.
