Abstract

This invention discloses a device for detecting the condition of chicken eggs that works based on filtering the color of the egg shell resulting from light candling. This device consists of a candling house equipped with an artificial light source to illuminate the egg, a color detection camera to capture the color image of the egg shell affected by the light penetrating, and a processing unit that processes the shell color data to determine the condition of the chicken egg in a fresh or rotten state. The results of the egg condition detection are conveyed to the user through an output device in the form of a visual display and / or sound indicator. This invention allows the inspection of chicken eggs individually with a simple, practical, and easy-to-use construction, so that it can assist the user in detecting the condition of chicken eggs without requiring human visual accuracy.
