Abstract

The article to which the design relates is a spinal implant called a laminoplasty plate, which is used as a plate to fix the osteotomized vertebral arch during laminoplasty. The spinal implant is bent and deformed to fit the bone shape, and then inserted between the incised vertebral arches while fixing the upper and lower ends to the bone with screws. It has strength equal to or greater than that of the bone, and is designed to maintain the enlarged spinal canal until the bone in the bone groove (hinge) area heals.
