Abstract
To provide a connector capable of electrically connecting a contact to a flexible conductor of an object to be connected even if the flexible conductor is exposed on either a front surface or a back surface of the object to be connected.SOLUTION: An insertion part 18A of an inner contact 18 has a contact part P1 that contacts a plug contact 13 in a recess 13C and a pressing part P2 that is positioned on the opposite side of a mating axis C from the contact part P1. A protruding part 15K of a sheet-type conductive member 15 is sandwiched between the pressing part P2 and the inner surface of the recess 13C in a direction perpendicular to the mating axis, the plug contact 13 is electrically connected directly to a shield layer 15D and also electrically connected to a shield layer 15F via the inner contact 18 by the inner surface of the recess 13C contacting the surface of the sheet conductive member 15 and the pressing part P2 contacting the back surface of the sheet conductive member 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
