Abstract
To provide a ground element capable of improving a signal-to-noise ratio while minimizing the degradation of reception levels with respect to a plurality of ATS signals with different frequencies.SOLUTION: A ground element 1 includes a reception coil 2 capable of receiving an ATS signal transmitted from a train. The reception coil 2 has a first coil section 21 wound in a 0-like shape and a second coil section 22 wound continuously in a 0-like shape smaller than that of the first coil section 21 and in the same winding direction as the first coil section 21. The first and second coil sections 21, 22 are arranged to overlap in the vertical direction such that the respective centers thereof are arranged to be shifted in a direction orthogonal to an advancing direction Dt of the train.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
