AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Airport lighting systems using LED lights generate noise due to switching circuits, requiring costly and time-consuming on-site surveys and filter designs to mitigate noise, which varies by manufacturer and date.
Method used
A lighting monitoring and control system with a master station and slave stations that utilize a modulation scheme combining frequency and phase shifts to inject and filter noise signals through power lines, employing adaptive filters to learn and suppress noise waveforms.
Benefits of technology
Effectively reduces noise emissions from LED airport lighting while maintaining low manufacturing costs and improving system robustness and accuracy.

Abstract
To provide a light monitoring control system that curbs the impact of a noise emitted from a light and that keeps a manufacturing cost low.SOLUTION: A light monitoring control system 1 includes: a transformer 12, the primary side of which is connected to a power line 11 for supplying electric power to a light 14 of an airport and which supplies the light 14 with the electric power drawn from a secondary side; a slave station 13 that is provided between the secondary side of the transformer 12 and the light 14; and a key station 9 that communicates with the plurality of slave stations 13 via the power line 11. The slave station 13 has a receiving part that receives a received signal including a first noise waveform and a modulation signal from an electric power waveform on the secondary side of the transformer 12, a learning part that generates a learned second noise waveform using the first noise waveform, in a non-implantation period, a superposition part that outputs the modulation signal after filtering by superposing an antiphase of the second noise waveform, obtained by the learning part, on the receiving signal, in an implantation period, and a demodulation part that regenerates a code by demodulating the modulation signal after the filtering.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
