Method for producing a wear-resistant coating

Abstract

It has been proposed to use pseudo-alloy coating technology to increase the electrical resistance of the sprayed layer. This technology involves feeding two wires made of dissimilar metals into the spray head of a metallizer. After melting the wires in an arc and subsequent spraying, a coating is formed containing uniformly distributed particles of these dissimilar metals, with their volume ratio proportional to the ratio of their diameters. Ensuring a high initial electrical resistance of the layer is possible only by using wires made of materials with a specific electrical resistance of more than 1.0∙10-6 Ohm∙m.
