AI Technical Summary
Existing discharge taps for liquid containers require replacement of fixing devices after each use, leading to inconvenience and increased risk of transporting partially filled containers without a secure closed position due to the need for additional handling and replacement of fixing devices.
A retaining bolt mechanism within a guide device allows the latch bolt to move between locking and unlocking positions, enabling reuse without replacement, and includes a tamper-evident seal to ensure the container remains closed.
The solution ensures the container remains securely closed without the need for reassembly or replacement of fixing devices, providing a tamper-evident seal and reducing the risk of accidental opening during transport.
Abstract
Description
DISCHARGE TAP FOR LIQUID CONTAINERS FIELD OF INVENTION The invention in question relates to a discharge tap for liquid containers, in particular for connecting the outlet to the neck.Outlet valve of a liquid transport and storage vessel, having a housing, in which a valve body is disposed which can pivot around a valve shaft by means of a handle to open and close a flow cross-section of an outlet tube, a housing cap being formed in the outlet tube to mount a valve shaft provided with the handle at its lower end and which extends out of the outlet tube, said handle being connected to the valve shaft in a torque-proof manner and being disposed at the shaft end with a bushing portion, said portion being provided with a handle stop to define a closed position of the valve body and the housing cap being provided with a housing stop, said handle stop and said housing stop being capable of locking relative to each other by means of a locking device to fix the closed position. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION A flush valve, formed as a butterfly valve having a valve hinge as a valve body, is known from document EP 1 106 565A1, said flush valve comprising a seal to form a fixing device to fix the relative arrangement between a handle stop formed in the handle and a housing stop formed in the housing of the valve, said seal simultaneously serving as a tamper-evident seal. Document EP 1 547 967 A1 proposes to provide a fixing device to secure the handle from being unintentionally or maliciously displaced, said fixing device being capable of forming as a seal or mechanical lock, in particular providing a tear-proof sanding ring. The known clamping devices, which are for fixing the butterfly valve handle to the valve housing in a relative arrangement corresponding to the butterfly valve closing position, suitable for single use and must be replaced by a new fixing device after a first opening process of the butterfly valve, which requires removing or destroying the fixing device, in order to ensure a closed position for the subsequent use of the liquid container, e.g., the additional transport of at least one partially filled liquid container. This gives rise in particular to the need for the container user to keep a corresponding replacement device ready on the one hand, and to carry out a renewed assembly of the fixing device on the butterfly valve on the other. Due to the additional effort related to this, there is a risk of transporting at least partially filled liquid containers without the necessary security of the valve slipping in its closed position in order to avoid said additional effort. Therefore, the object of the present invention in question is to propose a flush valve having an improved fixing device. In order to achieve this objective, the discharge tap in accordance with the i it-.c lition comprises the following characteristics described below. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION According to the invention, the fixing device comprises a retaining bolt that is contained in a guide device arranged in the part of- I >uj:- and can be moved between a locking position and an unlocking position by moving in the direction of the valve axis by means of the guide device, said retaining bolt, when in the locking position, being placed in a coupling arrangement with a first retaining bolt and a second retaining bolt to fix the closing position. Due to the embodiment of the fixing device according to the invention, in which the retaining bolt is contained in a guide device in the locked position as well as in the unlocked position, the retaining bolt also remains in the discharge tap when it is in the unlocked position so that the retaining bolt can be reused afterward of an unlocking process to move the valve body to its open position so that the retaining bolt moves to its locking position again after the valve body has been transí c-riclc- to the closed position. Neither the replacement of the fixing device after the discharge tap has been actuated nor a renewed assembly of the fixing device or parts thereof in the discharge tap according to the invention. In a preferred embodiment, the guide device is formed as a guide collar, which is formed as an integral part of a circumferential wall of the hub portion, a through opening being formed in a lower wall at the transition of the guide collar to the lower wall of the hub portion in order to displace the retaining bolt. This allows, on the one hand, the fixing device on the tap to be protected from external forces; on the other hand, the arrangement of the retaining bolt that protrudes from the lower wall of the bushing part when in the unlocked position can serve as an optical marker for the unlocked position of the fixing device. Preferably, the retaining bolt comprises a bolt leg for locking the bolt catches and an actuating leg for manipulating the retaining bolt, said bolt leg and said actuating leg being arranged essentially parallel to each other and being connected to each other at adjacent ends through a bolt base, said bolt base resting on an opening edge of the through-hole formed by the upper end of the guide collar. The actuating leg, formed independently of the bolt leg, which performs the actual locking function, allows simple operation and easy access to the retaining bolt, regardless of whether the retaining bolt is in its locked or unlocked position. i la Lase ele corrojocompente una superficie disposed flush a superficie visible de la pared inferior de la. parte de brute en la posición de- encerrado del bolt de retenida, una superficie de transición entre la. superficie visible de la pared lower part of t.-Lijc and b. sup-silicic d? la l-asc do coii-:-j-:-puc:-:lc- serve to apply a tamper-evident seal formed as a strip of paper or an aluminum strip, for example, said tamper-evident seal being destroyed when the retaining bolt is transferred to its unlocked position. Preferably, the bolt leg comprises a bolt retainer, which limits the movement of the bolt in the unlocked position and interacts with the hub portion to form a retaining device. In a preferred embodiment, the drive leg of the retaining bolt comprises a joining device for attaching a tamper-evident seal. Preferably, the fastening device is formed as a through opening, which in particular may be formed in a maneuvering collar, which protrudes radially from the drive leg. In a preferred embodiment, the first bolt retainer is formed through the housing stop of the housing cap and the second bolt retainer is formed through the handle stop, said housing stop being received between the handle stop and the retainer bolt. If the top? of the caicasa is formed through a stop tab arranged on the outside of the caí casa cap, said casing top can be formed particularly solid. In a further embodiment, the first bolt retainer is formed through a casing top formed in the casing cap, and the second bolt retainer is formed through a s?-:;und-:- lzpo ele caí casa formed in the casing cap, and the bolt retainer is received between the casing tops. This embodiment allows both bolt retainers to be made in the casing cap. If the first retaining bolt s» is formed by a first axial end of a rim collar formed circumferentially on the upper edge of the housing cap and the second retaining bolt is formed by a second axial end of the rim collar arranged opposite the first axial end, a particularly compact embodiment of the fastening device becomes possible. 5 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES The preferred embodiments of the discharge valve are further described below by means of the drawings; In the figures. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Figure 1 shows a discharge tap 10 having a tap housing 11 and a handle 12 disposed on the tap housing 11, said handle 12 serving to actuate a valve body disposed in an outlet tube 13 and not further illustrated, said valve body being able to move to an open position and a closed position to open and close a cross-sectional flow section 25 (Figures 6, 7) of the outlet tube 13 by means of the handle 12. In the illustrations according to figures 1 and 2, the outlet tube 13 of the drain tap 10 has a locking cap 15 at its outlet end 14. By doing this, the drain tap configuration shown in the figure I corresponds to the state of the discharge tap 10 while transporting a liquid container equipped with the discharge tap 10. To fix the closed position of the valve body, a fixing device 16 is provided on the discharge tap, said fixing device 16 comprising a retaining bolt 17 contained in the handle 12 arranged in the guide device formed as a guide collar 33 (figures 6., 7) in -this case. As shown in figures 1 and 2, the cenoj:- 1 T The retained part is disposed in a bushing portion 1B of the handle 12, said bushing portion 1S being, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, formed as a cap and being placed at an upper end 21 of a valve shaft 20 with a bushing sleeve 19 to transmit a torque from the handle 12 to the valve shaft 20, at the lower end of which is located the valve body not further illustrated. The valve shaft 20 is mounted in a spindle 2 of the housing II of grifa can a mounting collar 22 and is sealed with respect to a cross-section 25 of flow (figure 6) of the outlet 13 by means of sealing rings 24 arranged in the mounting collar 22. As shown in particular in Figure 2, part 1B of handle bushing 12 The tap 1u of the desired icio undertakes two handle stops 25, 26 formed in a circumferential wall 32 of part 18 of the bushing, limiting said stop. 2o 26 of handle a rotational movement of the handle 12 around a pivot axis 27 defined by the valve axis 20. In figures 1 and 2, in which the discharge tap 10 is illustrated in the closed position, the handle stop 25, shown on the left-hand side in figures 1 and 2 in each case, is in a stopped position against a lc>|:-i? 2 T The housing has a stop tab 81 on the tap housing 11. The handle stop 26, shown on the right-hand side in the figures1 1 and 2 in each case and which defines an opening position of the valve body in a stop position against a tc-p< 3? ele caí casa also formed in the stop tab 81, is separated from the handle stop 25 through a recess 28 in the circumferential wall 32 of the bushing part 18 in such a way as to allow 1 a. adjustment distance within the recess 28. As shown in Figures 3a.5, the retaining bolt 17 comprises a bolt leg 29 as well as an actuating leg 30, which extends essentially parallel to the bolt leg 29, for manipulating the retaining bolt 17 and a bolt base 31 connecting the bolt blade 29 to the actuating leg 30. To connect the retaining bolt 17 to the bushing part 1B of the handle 12, the guide collar 33, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, is integrally formed in and on the circumferential wall 32 of the bushing part 18, the retaining bolt 17 being able to slide over said collar 73 through a through opening 35 (Figure 2) formed in a lower wall 34 of the bushing part 18 adjacent to the guide collar 33. Figures 2 and 7 show the retaining bolt 17 in its unlocked position, in which the retaining bolt 17 is inserted into the lower wall 34 of the bushing part 18 with the bolt leg 29, in which it has not yet formed a cover between the bolt leg 29 and the housing stop 27, so that the handle 12 can pivot around the pivot axis 27, such that the right handle stop 26 stops in a stopped position against the housing stop 27 to transfer the valve body to an open position when it is pivot handle 12 around the adjustment distances. C;>Z'iii'Z> can >:>lc: -rai za. In particular, in Figure 1, the retaining bolt 17 is provided with a working collar 45 on its actuating leg 30, said working collar 45 comprising a through opening 46 which, in connection with an additional through opening 50 provided in a circumferential edge of the locking cover 15, allows a tamper-evident seal formed as a side thread to be disposed, for example, on the drain tap 10 in such a way that displacement of the retaining bolt 17 into its unlocked position shown in Figure 2 is only possible after destroying the sealing thread. To move the retaining bolt 17 from the unlocking position shown in figures 2 and 7 to the mid-locking position shown in figures 1 and 6, the retaining bolt 17 is further inserted into the through opening 35 parallel to the pivoting axis 37 until the base 31 of the bolt rests against an edge 3':.1 The 'Siluia cicla' opening 35 is formed by the upper end of the guide collar 33. In the locked position, a cover, shown in particular in Figure 6, is made between the housing stop 27 and the bolt leg 29, such that the housing stop 27, formed by the stop tab 81, is received between the handle stop 25 and the bolt leg 29 of the retaining bolt 17 in the closed position shown in Figure 1, and that the retaining bolt 17 forms the locking device together with the handle stop 25 and the housing stop 27, and that pivoting the handle 12 around the pivot axis 37 is no longer possible. : possible in the opening position. As shown in particular in figure 6, a surface 41 of the latch base is aligned flush with a visible surface 42 of part 1B of the handle bushing 12 in the locked position such that a flat sealing surface 43 is formed at the transition from surface 41 to the visible surface 42, said sealing surface 43 being capable of being used to apply a sealing foil or a sealing strip. A synopsis of Figures 6 and 7 shows that the displacement of the retaining bolt 17, from the locked position shown in Figure 6 to the unlocked position shown in Figure 7, can be performed without disengaging the The retaining bolt 17 of the guide device formed by the guide collar 33. To define the unlocking position and to securely position the retaining bolt 17 in part 1S of the handle bushing 12, a bolt retainer 47 is formed on the bolt leg 29 to form a retaining device, said bolt retainer 47 resting against a lower side 49 of part 1B of the bushing. In Figure 8, in a further embodiment, a Dracaiqa tap 51 is shown comprising a tap housing 80 having a handle 52 according to the discharge tap 10, said handle 52 being arranged in a housing cap 53. In contrast to handle 52, which is arranged in the cap 23 of the housing of the discharge tap 10 in such a way that the bushing sleeve 19 of handle 12 is directly connected to the grate 22 of the m-:-nla¡? of the 2C> valve shaft as shown in particular in figure 7, the fixing of the handle 52 to the housing 53 is carried out in such a way that locking lugs 57 are arranged radially inwards and facing each other diametrically on a lower edge 54 of a circumferential wall 55 of a bushing portion 56 of the handle 52, said locking lugs 57 being coupled behind an edge collar 60, shown in particular in figure 9, formed on the upper edge 59 of the housing cap 53 in an axial joining process to mount the handle 52 in the direction of the pivoting shaft 37, a valve shaft, not shown in figure 8, being integrally connected to a lower wall 5B of the handle 52.Therefore, handle 52 and valve shaft form an integral mounting unit on the flush tap 51. As shown in particular in figure 9, the housing cap 53 shows -:1-:-1. k-pos >:-1 62 :!? caí casa qua so face diametrally to each other and which protrude over the upper edge 59 as well as the ends 67, 72 of the rim collar 60 facing axially to, through a rim collar recess 66, forming said ccllaiín ck-1 --:-i-:lc the bolt retainers. As shown in Figure 10, the handle 52 comprises two handle stops 69, 70 facing each other diametrically on an inner side 6i of the bushing portion 56, said handle stops 69, 70 allowing two stop positions when The handle 52 is made to be turned around the shaft 37, with the handle stops 61, 70 resting against each of the housing stops 61, 62 shown in particular in the figures in said stop positions. As shown in Figure 10, the closed position of the discharge tap 51 is defined by the stop of the handle stop 68 against the housing stop 61 and by the stop of the handle stop 70 against the housing stop 62... In the closed position of the discharge tap 51 shown in Figure 10, there is a retaining latch 71 arranged on the handle 52, said retaining latch 71 being retained in a guide collar 33 (Figure 7) on the circumferential wall 55 of the handle 52 corresponding to the retaining latch 17 of the locking device 38, i.e., in its unlocked position. that a latch base 73 of the retaining latch 71, which connects a bolt leg 74 shown in particular in figure 12 with an actuating leg is disposed above the lower wall 56 of the handle bushing part 56... The retaining bolt 71 can be moved from the unlocked position shown in Figure 10 to its locked position shown in Figures 11 and 12 to release the bolt by moving the pin leg 74 downwards to an interspace 76 formed between the housing cap 53 and the circumferential wall 55 of the bushing part 56 of the handle 52. The bolt leg 74 of the retaining bolt 71 forms a locking device 77 together with the axial ends 67, 72 of the rim collar 60 that form the bolt retainers in this, locked position as seen in figure 12, effectively locking said locking device 77 the handle 52 preventing it from rotating in both directions around the pivot axis 37. As a comparison between Figures 1 and 11 shows, the embodiment of the bolt retainers that interact with the bolt leg 74 as ends 67 72 sr.iak-s of the rim overlap 60 allows a comparatively short embodiment of the bolt legs 74 such that the bolt leg 74 and the drive leg 75 are made having essentially the same length and not protruding from the bushing portion 56 or the lower rim 54 of the circumferential wall 55 of the bushing portion 56, respectively, in one direction descending in the case of the retaining bolt 71. As shown in Figure 11, the cap 53 of the flush valve housing 51, as well as the bushing portion 56 of the handle 52, are each provided with a viewing tab 78, 79 that projects radially downwards, being in a relative arrangement partially overlapping each other and directly adjacent to each other in the closed position of the flush valve 52. In doing so, the tabs 78 ; The 79 display features serve primarily for easily identifiable visualization of the closed position of the discharge tap on the outside and in particular do not play a role in the operation of the device. Due to their comparatively massive implementation, the display tabs 78, 79 still allow for an additional mechanical locking that prevents the handle 52 from pivoting beyond the closed position shown in Figure 11 in a counterclockwise direction, using excessive force that could lead to damage to the housing stops 61, 62 and the handle stops 69, 70.
