Abstract
An asphalt concrete product comprising of the following materials: 69.6 grams of bitumen, 734.76 grams of coarse aggregates, 305.21 grams of fine aggregates, 90.43grams of fillers, and 12 grams (1%) to 36 grams (3%) dried cut pieces plastic wastes cooked altogether as asphalting materials conferring to the procedures of making asphalt concrete. The wastes out of plastic and cellophane will replace part of bitumen from 12grams (1%) to 36grams (3%) of the total parts in an asphalt concrete product. The product has the characteristics of significant lesser weight densities ranging from 2.157g / cm3 to 2.280g / cm3 , comparable water absorption rates at percentages from 0.224% to 0.397% and with improved Marshall Stability results from 3,593.64lbs to 3,620.80lbs.
