Abstract

The useful solution proposed is a rotary valve mechanism with an integrated safety lock for water purifiers, consisting of: a valve body (1) fixed to the water purifier; a control knob assembly (2) securely attached to the valve body (1) that can rotate; a safety lock pin (3) integrated onto the control knob assembly (2); and a return spring (4) installed between the safety lock pin (3) and the control knob assembly (2) to create a thrust force to maintain the locking state to prevent the knob (23) from rotating. The unlocked state is created when the push button body (31) of the safety lock pin (3) is pressed, compressing the return spring (4) so ​​that the lock pin (35) moves out of the locking groove (16) horizontally and simultaneously performs the operation of rotating the knob (23) away from the locked state, causing the valve shaft (15) together with the stopper disc (151) to rotate to open the opening (141) of the disc (14), thereby allowing water to flow from the water inlet (12) to the water outlet (13).
