Abstract

A method for controlling the drive power of an electric motorcycle is described, wherein a throttle signal level (PGas(t)) from a throttle lever is queried via a control unit and, modified, transmitted as a control signal level (Sel(t)) to an electric drive motor, and wherein the control signal level (Sel(t)) in the control unit is determined as a function of a clutch level (PKup(t)) from a clutch switch simulating a clutch lever. To create advantageous control conditions, it is proposed that a smoothing value (Gw(t)) taking into account the throttle signal level profile is first calculated for the throttle signal level (PGas(t)), and that the control signal level (Sel(t)) is calculated from the smoothing value (Gw(t)) multiplied by the clutch level (PKup(t)).
