Abstract

Electrical connector (1) with a first connector (2) with a first connector housing (3) and at least one first electrical contact (4) and a second connector (5) with at least one second electrical contact (6) and with at least two movable locking arms (7) for forming a locking connection between the first connector (2) and the second connector (5) in a connection position of the connectors (2, 5) in which the first electrical contact (4) and the second electrical contact (6) are electrically connected together, wherein each locking arm (7) has a locking element (8) for engaging in a respective counter-locking element (9) on the first connector housing (3) and an actuating surface (10) for deflecting the locking arm (7), characterized in that the first connector housing (3) has at least two outwardly open openings (11),wherein in the connected position the actuating surface (10) arranged on the respective locking arm (8) is accessible from the outside in the respective opening (11).
