Abstract

A grout valve assembly (100) comprising a body (101) having a central bore (102) therethrough, and a grout valve (103), comprising a moveable member (104) mounted in a valve chamber (114) in the central bore, the moveable member comprising a central fluid passage therethrough. The grout valve assembly also comprises at least one grout outlet (105) extending through the body from the central bore to an outer surface. The moveable member is biased in a rearward direction to a closed position in which the at least one grout outlet is obstructed by the moveable member. Fluid flowing through the central fluid passage acts on a forward pressure area (113) of the moveable member to urge it to the closed position. The assembly further comprises an opening member (115), insertable into the central bore to occlude the central fluid passage of the moveable member, thereby opening the valve.
