AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional connector assemblies face issues with unstable coupling between male and female connectors due to external impact or vibration, leading to potential detachment and malfunction.

Method used

A connector assembly design featuring a female connector with an elastically bendable arm and a movable connector coupling member, where the coupling member's sub-arm interferes with the female connector's arm to stabilize the connection, preventing detachment and minimizing malfunction.

Benefits of technology

The design ensures stable coupling and minimizes malfunction by preventing the connector coupling member from being detached, maintaining a secure electrical connection between male and female connectors.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a connector sub-assembly and a connector assembly. The connector sub-assembly comprises: a female connector including a female connector body providing a coupling space into which a male connector can enter, a coupling auxiliary body providing a coupling auxiliary space connected to the coupling space, and a female connector-side arm extending in a first direction from the inner wall of the coupling auxiliary body and capable of elastically bending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and a connector coupling member including a coupling body coupled to the female connector body so as to be able to move in a first opposing direction, opposite to the first direction, toward the coupling auxiliary body, and a coupling member-side main arm and a coupling member-side sub-arm which extend parallel to each other from the coupling body so as to face the female connector-side arm.
