Abstract
Description
Vertical parking for electric vehicles and sliding cable distribution system for vertical elevator. Subject:
[001] This Invention Patent refers to a vertical parking garage equipped with a vertical elevator suitable for electric vehicles, possessing internal means to allow the charging of vehicle batteries while parked, simultaneously enabling the operation of the vertical elevator. Furthermore, the vertical parking garage has a set of photovoltaic panels for solar energy generation, as well as means for storing and using the generated energy to assist in the operation of the parking garage itself and for recharging vehicle batteries. To this end, the vertical elevator has a sliding distributor that allows the distribution of cables used for charging vehicle batteries during elevator operation without interrupting electrical contact, thus not interfering with its functioning. State of the Art:
[002] The use of electricity as a means of powering vehicles is constantly improving, and highly profitable and efficient electric vehicles are now attracting more and more consumers. This also increases the need for practical, easy, and accessible ways to power these vehicles that people can use in their daily lives.
[003] Added to this is the fact that there is a scarcity of horizontal space in large cities that can be used for parking, so that alternatives that include vertical parking are becoming increasingly suitable to reality. Especially in residential areas, the lack of parking spaces is due to the growing number of vehicles used by families, coupled with the lack of infrastructure in the buildings themselves. Petition 870210020701, dated 04 / 03 / 2021, page 4 / 12 Finding a place in a residence where one or more electric vehicles can be charged is still a problem that needs to be overcome.
[004] With regard to vehicle lifting equipment using lifting platforms, there are several types of construction models already known in the art. Some examples of vertical parking construction with lifting platforms, among many existing ones, can be seen in documents PI9604316-4 filed on 09 / 26 / 1996 by PEREIRA and MU9102800-0 filed on 12 / 23 / 2011 by INOMAQ. As a more recent document, we can cite BR102017 021415-0 filed on 10 / 05 / 2017 by FBI Automotiva Ltda, which describes a multifunctional space multiplier, capable of expanding the useful capacity in the use of spaces for various purposes, such as vehicle parking, using lifting mechanisms.
[005] However, these known models, despite commonly functioning in vehicle lifts to optimize space in residential and commercial environments, do not offer solutions that enable the recharging of electric vehicles while the vehicle is parked, nor do they provide means of generating clean energy. Inventive Concept:
[006] The present Vertical Parking System for Electric Vehicles and Sliding Cable Distributor for Vertical Elevator aims primarily to meet the objective of allowing the parking and recharging of two electric vehicles simultaneously, with means of generating solar energy, suitable for installation in residential and commercial environments.
[007] With this, the objective is to offer a practical solution for people who wish to use an electric vehicle but do not have the means of recharging at their home or workplace, but who have a small parking space. In addition to the possibility of expanding the parking space for two vehicles, the Petition 870210020701, dated 04 / 03 / 2021, page 5 / 12 The 3 / 7 installation allows for the charging of electric vehicles and the generation of solar energy.
[008] For this purpose, each platform on which a vehicle is placed includes a terminal equipped with a charging cable with a connector that will be attached to the vehicle. To prevent the cables from tangling and to ensure that electrical contact is not interrupted even during the movement of the elevator, individual charging cables are arranged by a sliding distributor.
[009] In addition, since the vertical parking garage has photovoltaic panels for generating solar energy, stored in a known way, it can be made available both for recharging vehicles and can be sent to the energy utility, making the use of electric vehicles even more attractive.
[010] Next to the elevator structure is placed the sliding distributor which will connect the power cable coming from the photovoltaic panels, storage media or the common electrical grid, with the power cable connected to the terminal of the main station, ensuring that the electrical contact is maintained throughout the elevator's movement.
[011] The sliding distributor consists of a roller bearing fixed to the elevator structure, internally equipped with a ribbon spring arranged to loosen or retract the cables that will supply the main station, as a result of the elevator's movement.
[012] This results in the automatic movement of the cables that power the main station due to the movement of the elevator, preventing the cables from becoming entangled in any way and ensuring that electrical contact will be maintained throughout the movement.
[013] Cables with vehicle-attachable connectors can be replaced by other means of connection and charging, such as Petition 870210020701, dated 04 / 03 / 2021, page 6 / 12 4 / 7 electromagnetic induction charging, and may include universal or case-specific connectors. Field of Application:
[014] The application of Vertical Parking for Electric Vehicles and Sliding Cable Distributor for Vertical Elevator occurs as a building for parking vehicles by lifting platforms with a sliding cable distributor of the reel type power cable. Advantages:
[015] The Vertical Parking System for Electric Vehicles and Sliding Cable Distributor for Vertical Elevators offers the following advantages: • It allows for the simultaneous parking and charging of electric vehicles, using cables or other intelligent means as a replacement for traditional cables; • It allows parking to be easily adapted to residential environments, requiring only one parking space; • Allows the use of an individual power cable for each platform, without them becoming tangled or interfering with the lifting movement of the platforms, ensuring the maintenance of the electrical connection throughout the rotational movement; • It enables the generation of solar energy by the parking lot itself, which is renewable and can be used for its own operation or even directly for charging vehicles (off-grid system). It is also possible for the energy generated, or part of it, to be sent to the utility company (on-grid system); • Alternatively, the existing electrical grid in the region can be used to power the vehicles; • If used commercially, it allows the user to monitor the loading progress in real time, as well as access it via computer program or application so that it can be... Petition 870210020701, dated 04 / 03 / 2021, page 7 / 12 5 / 7 payment is made or other services such as booking a spot and checking availability are performed; • It allows for better use of parking and electric vehicle charging spaces, due to its construction using vertical lifting platforms; • It enables the reduction of electricity generation costs used for recharging electric vehicles, due to the generation of solar energy; • It allows for the widespread installation of parking lots and charging stations for electric vehicles under a wide range of technical and economic conditions; • It can be used for parking vehicles of various sizes, such as passenger cars or utility vehicles, pickup trucks, tricycles, motorcycles, buses, minibuses, trucks, etc. • It makes it possible to reduce the use of non-renewable energy sources, thus reducing carbon emissions generated by burning coal. Description:
[017] The Vertical Parking System for Electric Vehicles and Sliding Cable Distributor for Vertical Elevator comprises an elevator structure (1) that supports a lifting platform (2), which when raised determines the lower platform (3), on which the vehicles are positioned. A lifting mechanism (4) raises the platform (2), positioning it on the lower platform (3). The lifting mechanism may include the most varied models, with pistons, hydraulic, pneumatic, hydropneumatic, electric or other mechanisms, each containing its own forms of actuation and control with respect to movement, weight, etc.
[018] On the structure (1) are arranged a plurality of known photovoltaic panels (5), which have the function of generating solar energy that can be used by the parking lot itself, stored or used directly for charging vehicles. Optionally, several structures (1) can be placed side by side to compose a large parking lot and electric vehicle charging station, depending on demand.
[019] On the lifting platform (2), which constitutes an individual charging station, there is a matrix station (6) that has a cable with connector (7) for connection to the vehicle in order to enable its recharging. The station (6) is called the matrix station because it connects to the sliding distributor (9). The connection between the matrix station (6) and the station (8) is made in series through the power cables (10). Petition 870210020701, dated 04 / 03 / 2021, page 9 / 12 7 / 7
[020] The sliding distributor (9) is formed by the reel (11), and is installed next to the plate (12) that connects the power cables (13) coming from the photovoltaic panels (5) or the external power grid. One of the possible options is to install the sliding distributor (9) directly on the structure (1). However, although this is a preferred arrangement, the sliding distributor (9) can be installed next to other structures or supports suitable for the elevator structure.
[021] The reel (11) is fixed to the elevator structure and has internally the bearing (14), the bushing (15) used to fix the tape spring (16), which, in turn, is fixed and tensioned inside the reel body (17). The cables (18) are wound on the reel body (17) and are connected to the main station (6). The cover (19) serves to keep the reel (12) closed.
[022] As the tape spring (16) is fixed under tension, when the cables (18) are loosened as a result of the platform containing the matrix station (6) being moved vertically, the cables (18) will automatically be wound onto the body (17) of the reel in its loose portion, in order to avoid any kind of entanglement between the cables.
[023] Thus, vehicles parked on platforms (2) and (3) will be loaded while parked, with the elevator's lifting movement being fully preserved, without cable tangles or electrical connection being disconnected during movement. Conclusion:
[024] Thus, the Vertical Parking for Electric Vehicles and Sliding Cable Distributor for Vertical Elevator is supported by unprecedented functional characteristics, therefore deserving the legal protection sought.
