An information processing device comprising: an extracting unit that extracts, in units of sides, a document that has failed to be read, when optically reading information recorded in the document sheet by sheet from a stack of a plurality of documents including front and back surfaces; and A generation unit generates a list of statistical results including a plurality of records, each of the plurality of records representing a surface corresponding to a front side or a back side of an original document that failed to be read, and each of the plurality of records including a title number of the represented surface and a number indicating the order in which the corresponding original document that failed to be read was read in the stack of original documents. 2 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising generating a file including a number indicating the order in which the document is read in the document stack as part of its file name for each document including a side on which reading has failed.

An information processing method comprising the following steps: an extracting step of extracting, in units of surfaces, the originals for which reading failed, while optically reading information recorded in the originals one by one from a stack of a plurality of originals including front and back surfaces; and A generation step is to generate an overview of statistical results including a plurality of records, wherein each of the plurality of records represents a surface corresponding to the front or back side of an original document that failed to be read, and each of the plurality of records includes a title number of the represented surface and a number indicating the order in which the corresponding original document that failed to be read was read in the stack of original documents.
10. A computer program product comprising a program for causing a computer to perform the following functions: an extraction function for extracting, in units of sides, the originals for which reading failed, when optically reading information recorded in the originals one by one from a stack of a plurality of originals including the front and back sides; and A generation function generates a list of statistical results including a plurality of records, each of the plurality of records representing a surface or a back surface corresponding to an original that failed to be read, and each of the plurality of records including a title number of the represented surface and a number indicating the order in which the corresponding original that failed to be read was read in the stack of originals.
