Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to refrigeration and freezing apparatus, and more particularly to a refrigerator. Background Technology

[0002] The push-to-open drawer mechanism is widely used in cabinet drawers or furniture drawers. Its structure is similar to the top push-button mechanism of a ballpoint pen. Press once to extend the pen tip, and press again to retract the pen tip.

[0003] Some refrigerators may also use push-to-open drawers. A push-to-open mechanism is installed between the drawer and the refrigerator body. When the drawer is closed, the push-to-open mechanism locks the drawer into the refrigerator body.

[0004] To open the drawer, the user presses and pushes the front panel of the drawer backward, causing the drawer to move backward a short distance (e.g., 5mm). At the same time, the push-spring mechanism unlocks the drawer. The user then stops pushing the drawer backward, and the push-spring mechanism uses its elasticity to spring the drawer forward a short distance. The user can then manually pull the drawer forward.

[0005] When closing the drawer, the user pushes it backward, causing it to move to its rearmost position against the spring force of the push-spring mechanism. The user then releases the drawer, which springs forward a short distance under the force of the push-spring mechanism, thus locking the drawer.

[0006] The unique feature of refrigerator drawers lies in their top cover. When the drawer is closed, the cover tightly seals the top opening. When the drawer is pulled forward, the cover does not move forward with it. During drawer movement, especially in the initial opening or final closing stages, interference, friction, and collisions with the cover often cause problems such as incomplete sealing, difficulty in pushing the drawer, and noise, severely impacting the user experience. Furthermore, drawers are relatively heavy when filled with items, and pushing them often causes deformation, affecting the proper fit between the drawer slides and the refrigerator body slides, making the sliding motion less smooth and requiring more effort from the user. All of these factors constitute significant obstacles to the widespread implementation of push-to-open drawers in refrigerators. Summary of the Invention

[0007] One object of the present invention is to provide a refrigerator that requires less effort when the user pushes the drawers that open and close manually.

[0008] Another objective of this invention is to reduce the noise generated by the collision between the drawer and the top cover during the closing and rebounding process of a push-to-open drawer, and to enhance the sealing performance between the drawer and its top cover.

[0009] Specifically, the present invention provides a refrigerator, including a cabinet and a push-pull type drawer disposed inside the cabinet that can be pushed back and forth. When the drawer is closed, it is first pushed back to a rear limit position, and then rebounds forward a preset distance by elastic force and locks into the cabinet. The refrigerator also includes: a top cover, installed on the cabinet, which is positioned above the drawer to cover the upper opening of the drawer when the drawer is closed; and a sealing strip, extending in the lateral direction of the top cover, which includes: a mounting part for fixing to the front end of the top cover; and a sealing part that extends forward from the front end of the mounting part and gradually bends upward or downward, so that when the drawer moves backward, it is pushed backward by the front end plate of the drawer to produce elastic deformation, thereby sealing the gap between the front end of the top cover and the front end plate of the drawer.

[0010] Optionally, the curvature of the sealing part gradually increases from back to front.

[0011] Optionally, the sealing strip further includes: a support portion made of rigid material, extending forward from the front end of the mounting portion, located on the concave side of the sealing portion, and spaced apart from the sealing portion, such that when the sealing portion is pushed back so that its front end contacts the support portion, the support portion supports the sealing portion and forms a heat-insulating cavity with the sealing portion.

[0012] Optionally, the sealing part bends downwards from back to front.

[0013] Optionally, the front end of the top cover has a slot that is open at the front, and the middle of the slot has an insert plate that divides the internal space of the slot vertically; and the rear end of the mounting part has a groove that is open to the rear. The mounting part is inserted into the slot, and the insert plate is inserted into the groove, so that the mounting part is fixed to the top cover.

[0014] Optionally, the top and bottom walls of the groove extend with gradually forward-inclined elastic teeth. After the mounting part is inserted into the slot, the elastic teeth are elastically deformed by the pressure of the insert plate to fasten the mounting part.

[0015] Optionally, it also includes: two slide rails, respectively disposed on the transverse side walls inside the cabinet and extending back and forth, each slide rail forming at least one slope that gradually slopes upward from front to back, and the transverse ends of the top cover are respectively placed on the two slide rails; as the drawer is pushed backward to the rear limit position, the top cover moves backward and moves up along the slope; after the drawer springs forward and locks, the top cover moves forward and downward along the slope under its own weight to fit tightly against the drawer.

[0016] Optionally, each slide rail is also equipped with a buffer stop; and when the top cover moves along the slope to the position against the drawer, it is stopped by the buffer stop.

[0017] Optionally, each slide rail has at least one downwardly recessed recess, the rear surface of which forms a slope; and each lateral end of the top cover has at least one laterally extending mounting post, each mounting post being located within a recess.

[0018] Optionally, each slide rail has two recesses arranged in a front-to-back pattern; and each end of the top cover has two mounting posts arranged in a front-to-back pattern.

[0019] In the refrigerator of this invention, the sealing strip on the top cover includes an mounting portion and a sealing portion. The sealing portion extends forward from the front end of the mounting portion while gradually bending upward or downward, so that when the drawer moves backward, it is pushed backward by the front end plate of the drawer and undergoes elastic deformation, thereby sealing the gap between the front end of the top cover and the rear surface of the front end plate of the drawer. Moreover, this curved structure of the sealing portion is more prone to elastic deformation, resulting in less resistance from the sealing strip when the drawer is pushed backward, making it easier for the user to press the drawer and providing a better user experience.

[0020] Furthermore, in the refrigerator of the present invention, after the sealing part is elastically deformed to a certain extent by the drawer being pushed back, it is supported by a support part made of rigid material, which can prevent the sealing part from undergoing excessive elastic deformation and affecting its service life. In addition, a cavity is formed between the sealing part and the support part, which can enhance the heat insulation performance at the sealing strip.

[0021] Furthermore, in the refrigerator of the present invention, the drawer cover is mounted on two slide rails, each slide rail having a gradually upward sloping surface from front to back. When the drawer is closed, as the drawer is pushed backward to its rearmost position, the cover is pushed backward by the drawer, moving upward along the slope. After the drawer is spring-loaded and locked into the cabinet, the cover moves forward and downward along the slope under its own weight, thus fitting snugly against the drawer. After the drawer is closed, due to the slope, the cover still has a tendency to slide forward and downward, thus better sealing the drawer. Moreover, since the cover is "movable," when the drawer is closed, the cover moves backward with the drawer a certain distance, avoiding additional resistance to the drawer's backward movement and making it easier for the user. The present invention has a simple structure but is highly practical. Furthermore, it has fewer parts, a lower probability of failure, and high reliability.

[0022] Furthermore, the refrigerator of the present invention is also provided with a buffer stop block. When the drawer is closed, the top cover will stop moving when it moves along the slope to a position close to the drawer, and will be blocked by the buffer stop block. The buffer stop block can buffer the impact force of the top cover movement and reduce impact noise.

[0023] Furthermore, in the refrigerator of the present invention, the slope of the rear slope is greater than that of the front slope. The purpose is to make the rear end of the top cover tilt upward when it moves backward. This facilitates its smoother movement forward and downward along the slope, allowing it to fit more tightly against the drawer and improve sealing performance.

[0024] The above and other objects, advantages and features of the present invention will become more apparent to those skilled in the art from the following detailed description of specific embodiments of the invention in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Attached Figure Description

[0040] The following reference Figures 1 to 14 The following describes a refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention. The terms "front," "rear," "upper," "lower," "top," "bottom," "inner," "outer," and "lateral," etc., indicate the orientation or positional relationship based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the accompanying drawings. This is merely for the convenience of describing the present invention and for simplifying the description, and is not intended to indicate or imply that the device or element referred to must have a specific orientation, or be constructed and operated in a specific orientation; therefore, it should not be construed as a limitation of the present invention.

[0041] This invention provides a refrigerator. The refrigerator of this invention employs a vapor compression refrigeration cycle system to provide cooling capacity. The vapor compression refrigeration cycle system includes a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, a throttling device, and other refrigeration components.

[0042] In some embodiments, such as Figure 1 As shown, the refrigerator includes a cabinet 10 and a push-to-open drawer 300 that can be pushed and pulled back and forth inside the cabinet 10. A push-to-open component is provided between the drawer 300 and the cabinet 10. When the drawer 300 is in the closed state, the push-to-open component locks the drawer 300 in the cabinet 10. When the user wants to open the drawer 300, they press and push the front panel of the drawer 300 backward, causing the drawer 300 to move backward a preset distance (e.g., 5mm) against the spring force of the push-to-open component. At the same time, the push-to-open component unlocks the drawer 300. The user then stops pushing the drawer 300 backward, and the push-to-open component will use its spring force to push the drawer 300 forward a certain distance (e.g., 10cm). The user can then manually pull the drawer 300 forward. When a user wants to close drawer 300, they should first push drawer 300 backward so that it moves to a rear limit position against the spring force of the push-spring component (at the rear limit position, drawer 300 cannot move further backward). The user should then release the drawer, and drawer 300 will spring back forward a preset distance (e.g., 5mm) under the spring force of the push-spring component, thus locking drawer 300.

[0043] The push-to-open drawer 300 is widely used in cabinet drawers and furniture drawers in the existing technology. Therefore, the specific structure of the push-to-open mechanism will not be described in detail here.

[0044] Besides drawer 300, the refrigerator may also include other drawers and doors, such as drawer 40 and door 20, which will not be described in detail here. Figure 2As shown, the refrigerator may also include two slide rails 110 and a top cover 400. The two slide rails 110 are respectively disposed on the transverse (i.e., left-right direction as indicated in the figure) side walls inside the cabinet 10 and extend back and forth. Each slide rail 110 forms at least one slope 1121, 1141 that gradually slopes upward from front to back. The transverse ends of the top cover 400 are respectively placed on the two slide rails 110 to cover the upper opening of the drawer 300.

[0045] For example Figure 2 Two slide rails 100 and 200 can be installed. The two slide rails 100 and 200 are respectively installed on the transverse side walls inside the housing 10. Each slide rail 110 is formed on the inner surface of one slide rail 100 or 200. The drawer 300 can also be installed on the two slide rails 100 and 200 in a push-pull manner. Figure 3 and Figure 9 The drawer 300 has front and rear extending first slide rails 390 on its two transverse side walls, and front and rear extending second slide rails 190 on its two track plates 100 and 200. Each second slide rail 190 cooperates with a first slide rail 390 to allow the drawer 300 to be pushed and pulled back and forth.

[0046] As drawer 300 is pushed backward to its rearmost position, the top cover 400 moves backward and upward along slopes 1121 and 1141. After drawer 300 springs forward and locks into the housing 10, the top cover 400, under its own weight, moves forward and downward along slopes 1121 and 1141 to fit snugly against drawer 300. Furthermore, after drawer 300 is closed, due to the action of slopes 1121 and 1141, the top cover 400 still has a tendency to slide forward and downward, thus better sealing drawer 300.

[0047] The drawer described in this embodiment of the invention is particularly suitable for drawers with dry and wet separation, where the drawer used in the dry or wet separation requires a high degree of sealing.

[0048] Because the top cover 400 is "movable," when the drawer 300 is closed, the top cover 400 moves backward with the drawer 300 a certain distance, which avoids the top cover 400 generating additional resistance to the drawer's backward movement, making it easier for the user. This invention has a simple structure but is highly practical. Furthermore, with fewer parts, the possibility of failure is low, and reliability is high.

[0049] In some embodiments, a buffer stop 130 is also installed on each slide rail 110. When the top cover 400 moves forward and downward along the slopes 1121 and 1141 to a position against the drawer 300, it stops moving due to the buffer stop 130. The buffer stop 130 can buffer the impact force of the top cover 400's movement and reduce impact noise. The buffer stop 130 can be made of a highly elastic material such as rubber.

[0050] Figures 2 to 4 The diagram illustrates one possible structure of the slide rail 110. Only the structure of the slide rail 110 on the left side is shown in the figure. The slide rail on the right side is symmetrically arranged to the slide rail 110 on the left side.

[0051] like Figures 2 to 4 As shown, each slide rail 110 has at least one downwardly recessed recess 112, 114, the rear surfaces of which form slopes 1121, 1141. Each lateral end of the top cover 400 has at least one laterally extending mounting post 410, 420, the number of which is the same as the number of recesses 112, 114, each mounting post 410, 420 being located within a recess 112, 114. Besides forming slopes 1121, 1141 on their rear surfaces, the recesses 112, 114 also constrain the position of the mounting posts 410, 420; unless subjected to a sufficiently large force, the mounting posts 410, 420 will not easily move forward. In other words, when drawer 300 moves forward, even if the top cover 400 is subjected to the frictional force of the top of drawer 300 moving forward, it will not easily move forward with drawer 300, which makes the position of the top cover 400 relatively stable.

[0052] The surfaces of the recessed portions 112 and 114 are arc-shaped to facilitate design and manufacturing. Of course, they can also be made into other curved surfaces. The two ends of the top cover 400 are connected to the slide rail 110 only through mounting posts 410 and 420, so that the contact area between it and the slide rail 110 is very small, which facilitates the fit with the slopes 1121 and 1141.

[0053] like Figures 2 to 4 As shown, each slide rail 110 can have two recessed portions 112 and 114 arranged in a front-to-back pattern, and each end of the top cover 400 has two mounting posts 410 and 420 arranged in a front-to-back pattern. The front and rear ends of the top cover 400 are supported respectively, resulting in more even force distribution and more stable position.

[0054] Furthermore, such as Figures 2 to 4 As shown, in each slide rail 110, the slope of the rear slope 1141 is greater than that of the front slope 1121, one of the two slopes 1121 and 1141. For example, when the recesses 112 and 114 are arc-shaped, the radius of the rear recess 114 is smaller than that of the front recess 112. This makes the rear slope 1141 steeper, causing the rear end of the top cover 400 to tilt upwards when it moves backward. This facilitates smoother forward and downward movement along the slopes 1121 and 1141, allowing it to fit more tightly against the drawer 300 and providing better sealing.

[0055] like Figure 3As shown, the buffer stop 130 of each slide rail 110 can be set in the recess 112 on the front side to block the mounting post 410 located at the front of the top cover 400. Since the top cover 400 is lightweight, only one buffer stop 130 is needed to buffer the top cover 400, making the structure simpler.

[0056] The following is through Figures 2 to 8 The closing process of drawer 300 in this embodiment of the invention will be described.

[0057] Figures 2 to 4 This illustration shows the drawer 300 in the open state. At this time, the mounting post 410 is located within the recess 112 and its forward movement is blocked by the buffer stop 130. The mounting post 420 is located within the recess 114.

[0058] Then, push the drawer back to its maximum position by 300 degrees, that is, from... Figures 2 to 4 The state reached Figure 5 and Figure 6 The mounting column 410 moves upward along the slope 1121, and the mounting column 420 moves upward along the slope 1141. Since the slope of the slope 1141 is greater than that of the two slopes 1121 and 1141, the rear end of the cover 400 is tilted upward.

[0059] Finally, the user releases drawer 300, which springs forward a preset distance and then locks into the cabinet 10. During this process, under the weight of the top cover 400, mounting post 410 slides forward and downward along slope 1121, and mounting post 420 slides forward and downward along slope 1141, ultimately reaching... Figure 7 and Figure 8 The drawer 300 shown is in the closed state.

[0060] In some embodiments, such as Figure 2 , Figure 3 Figure 4 as well as Figure 9 As shown, each slide rail 110 also has a top plate 120 extending parallel to the slide rail 110 above it, and each mounting post 410, 420 is located between the slide rail 110 and the top plate 120. The slide rail 110 and the top plate 120 form a groove structure to better constrain the mounting posts 410, 420. When track plates 100, 200 are provided, the top plate 120 can also extend from the inner surface of the track plates 100, 200.

[0061] The top plate 120 may have notches 121 and 123 corresponding to the recesses 112 and 114, so that when the top cover 400 is removed upwards, the notches 121 and 123 make way for the mounting posts 410 and 420 respectively. At the same time, it also facilitates the installation of the top cover 400 from top to bottom. The opening 125 formed between the top plate 120 and the front end of the side plate allows the user to pull out the top cover 400 from the front side of the slide rail 110.

[0062] In some embodiments, such as Figures 10 to 12 As shown, the refrigerator also includes a sealing strip 500 extending laterally along the top cover 400. The sealing strip 500 generally includes a mounting portion 510 and a sealing portion 530. The mounting portion 510 is used to fix the top cover 400 to the front end. The sealing portion 530 extends forward from the front end of the mounting portion 510, and gradually bends downward as it extends forward, exhibiting a unidirectional bend. When the drawer 300 moves backward, the sealing portion 530 is pushed backward by the front end plate of the drawer 300, resulting in elastic deformation, thereby sealing the gap between the front end of the top cover 400 and the front end plate of the drawer 300, achieving a sealing and heat insulation effect. For better deformation, the sealing portion 530 can be made of a highly elastic sealing material.

[0063] Through multiple experiments, the R&D team has confirmed that the curved structure of the sealing part 530 is more prone to elastic deformation, which reduces the resistance from the sealing strip 500 when the drawer 300 is pushed back, making it easier for users to press the drawer 300 and providing a better user experience.

[0064] Of course, in some embodiments not shown in the accompanying drawings, the sealing portion 530 may extend forward from the front end of the mounting portion 510 and gradually bend upward at the same time. This structure will not be described in detail here.

[0065] like Figure 12 As shown, the curvature of the sealing part 530 can gradually increase from back to front, which is more conducive to the deformation of the sealing part 530 under force, making it easier to push the drawer 300 back.

[0066] In some embodiments, the sealing strip 500 further includes a support portion 520. The support portion 520 is made of a rigid material (e.g., rigid plastic). The support portion 520 extends forward from the front end of the mounting portion 510, is located on the concave side of the sealing portion 530, and is spaced apart from the sealing portion 530. When the sealing portion 530 is pushed back so that its front end contacts the support portion 520, the support portion 520 supports the sealing portion 530 and forms a heat-insulating cavity with the sealing portion 530.

[0067] After the sealing part 530 is pushed back by the drawer 300 and elastically deformed to a certain extent, it is supported by the support part 520, which can prevent the sealing part 530 from undergoing excessive elastic deformation and affecting its service life. In addition, the heat-insulating cavity formed between the sealing part 530 and the support part 520 can enhance the heat insulation performance of the sealing strip 500.

[0068] In some embodiments, such as Figure 12 As shown, the front end of the top cover 400 has a front-opening slot 450. The middle of the slot 450 has an insert plate 453 that divides the internal space of the slot 450 vertically. The rear end of the mounting part 510 has a rearward-opening groove 511. The mounting part 510 is inserted into the slot 450, and the insert plate 453 is inserted into the groove 511, so that the mounting part 510 is fixed to the top cover 400. The sealing strip 500 is fixed to the top cover 400 by the above-described insertion method, making installation and removal very convenient.

[0069] Furthermore, the top and bottom walls of the groove 511 can extend forward-inclined elastic teeth 5112. After the mounting part 510 is inserted into the slot 450, the elastic teeth 5112 are elastically deformed by the pressure of the insert plate 453, and rely on the elastic force to stick tightly to the insert plate 453, thereby making the position of the mounting part 510 more stable.

[0070] In some embodiments, such as Figure 13 and Figure 14 As shown, drawer 300 includes drawer body 310, front frame 330 and glass panel 320. Front frame 330 and glass panel 320 constitute the front panel of drawer.

[0071] The drawer body 310 is used for storage. The drawer body 310 can be used as follows: Figure 13 As shown, the device includes a base plate 311, two side plates 312, and a back plate 313. The base plate 311 is used to support items. The two side plates 312 extend upwards from both lateral ends of the base plate 311. The back plate 313 extends upwards from the rear end of the base plate 311. A front frame 330 is fixedly connected to the two side plates 312. For example, the front frame 330 and the side plates 312 can be connected using screws through screw holes 302 and 305.

[0072] The front frame 330 is vertically mounted on the front side of the drawer body 310 and is made of metal, such as aluminum alloy. The glass panel 320 is fixedly mounted to the front frame 330 so that the front frame 330 surrounds the glass panel 320.

[0073] like Figure 14 As shown, in order to facilitate the installation of the glass panel 320, the front frame 330 has a clamping groove 301 for clamping and fixing the edge of the glass panel 320.

[0074] Because of the high rigidity of the metal frame and glass panel, the deformation of drawer 300 is very small when the user pushes it. The slide rail 110 of drawer 300 and the slide rail 110 of cabinet 10 will not be affected by deformation, making the back and forth sliding of drawer 300 very smooth and saving the user a lot of effort.

[0075] like Figure 13 and Figure 14 As shown, both the front frame 330 and the glass panel 320 are square. For ease of manufacturing, the front frame 330 can be assembled from two parts, namely, the front frame 330 includes a detachably connected "U"-shaped frame 332 and a bottom edge 334. The "U"-shaped frame 332 includes a top edge 3321 and two side edges 3322 extending downward from both ends of the top edge 3321. The two ends of the bottom edge 334 are respectively connected to the bottom ends of the two side edges 3322.

[0076] Therefore, those skilled in the art should recognize that although numerous exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described in detail herein, many other variations or modifications conforming to the principles of the present invention can be directly determined or derived from the disclosure of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, the scope of the present invention should be understood and construed as covering all such other variations or modifications.

A refrigerator comprising a cabinet and a drawer provided in the interior of the cabinet and opened and closed by being pushed and pulled forward and backward, the drawer being locked in the cabinet after being pushed backward to a limit position and then being returned forward by a predetermined distance by an elastic force when the drawer is closed, characterized in that Also included are: an upper cover mounted on the cabinet and positioned above the drawer to cover an upper opening of the drawer when the drawer is in the closed state; and a sealing strip extending in a transverse direction of the upper cover and including: a mounting portion for being fixed to a front end of the upper cover; a sealing portion extending forward from a front end of the mounting portion while gradually bending upward or downward to be elastically deformed by being pushed backward by a front end plate of the drawer when the drawer is moved backward, thereby sealing a gap between the front end of the upper cover and the front end plate of the drawer; and a support portion made of a hard material and extending forward from the front end of the mounting portion, positioned on a concave side of the sealing portion, and spaced apart from the sealing portion, the support portion supporting the sealing portion when the front end of the sealing portion is brought into contact with the support portion by being pushed backward, and forming a heat insulation cavity with the sealing portion.

2. The refrigerator according to claim 1, wherein the sealing portion gradually increases in curvature from rear to front.

3. The refrigerator according to claim 1, wherein the sealing portion gradually bends downward from rear to front.

4. The refrigerator according to claim 1, wherein the front end of the upper cover has a slot with an open front side, the slot having a partition plate separating an internal space of the slot into upper and lower portions; and the rear end of the mounting portion has a recess with an open rear side, the mounting portion being inserted into the slot, and the partition plate being inserted into the recess to fix the mounting portion to the upper cover.

5. The refrigerator according to claim 4, wherein top and bottom walls of the recess respectively extend elastic catches gradually inclined forward, the elastic catches being elastically deformed by being pressed by the partition plate after the mounting portion is inserted into the slot to fasten the mounting portion.

6. The refrigerator according to claim 1, characterized in that Also included are: two slide rails respectively arranged on transverse side walls inside the cabinet and extending forward and rearward, each of the slide rails being formed with at least one slope surface gradually rising from front to rear, and transverse ends of the upper cover being respectively positioned on the two slide rails; the upper cover being moved along the slope surfaces and upward as the drawer is pushed rearward to the rear limit position; the upper cover being moved downward along the slope surfaces and closely abutting the drawer as the drawer is bounced forward and locked.

7. The refrigerator according to claim 6, wherein each of the slide rails further has a buffer stopper mounted thereon; and the upper cover is stopped from moving by being buffered and blocked by the buffer stopper when the upper cover is moved along the slope surfaces to abut the drawer.

8. The refrigerator according to claim 7, wherein each of the slide rails has at least one concave portion concave downward, a rear surface of the concave portion constituting the slope surface; and each of the transverse ends of the upper cover has at least one mounting column extending transversely, each of the mounting columns being positioned in one of the concave portions.

9. The refrigerator according to claim 8, wherein each of the slide rails has two of the concave portions arranged front to rear; and each of the ends of the upper cover has two of the mounting columns arranged front to rear.
