Abstract

An electronic device for controlling the operation of an elevator. The electronic device comprises at least one contactless button configured to detect a user input for selecting the at least one contactless button and a controller configured to receive a signal corresponding to the selected at least one contactless button, determine an instruction for controlling the operation of the elevator based on the signal and transmit the instruction to the elevator.
