Microfiltration membranes

Abstract

This application relates to a multi-zone, carrier-free, microporous, high-flux membrane. The membrane includes a first microporous region, a second microporous region, and a third microporous region, wherein the third microporous region is located between the first and second microporous regions, and the first, second, and third microporous regions are integrally formed with each other. Other aspects of this application include methods for manufacturing the membrane and filter cartridges having the membrane of this application.
