Abstract

The present application belongs to the technical field of washing machines, and discloses a control method of a washing machine and the washing machine, the washing machine comprising: a water containing cylinder, a circulating filter pipeline, a water inlet end and a water outlet end of the circulating filter pipeline being communicated with the water containing cylinder respectively, and a circulating pump being arranged on the circulating filter pipeline; a filter device being arranged between the water outlet end of the circulating pump and the water outlet end of the circulating filter pipeline; the control method comprising: starting the circulating pump, conducting the circulating filter pipeline, and performing circulating filter rinsing by the washing machine; stopping the circulating pump after rinsing; starting the circulating pump when a first set condition is reached; and cutting off the circulating filter pipeline when a second set condition is reached. In the present application, the circulating pump is stopped after rinsing by the washing machine, so that water between the circulating pump and the filter device flows back, air enters the pipeline between the circulating pump and the filter device, and when the circulating pump is started again, the air in the pipeline is pressed into the filter device, so that the sewage in the filter device is fully discharged, and the situation that sewage remains in the filter device is avoided.
