Pixel and display device including the pixel

Abstract

The display device may include pixels disposed in a display area. Each pixel includes: a first electrode and a second electrode, spaced apart from each other; a first insulating layer disposed on the first and second electrodes, and including a trench corresponding to the area between the first and second electrodes; light-emitting elements disposed within the trench, each including a first end and a second end; a first contact electrode disposed on the first electrode and on the first end of each of the light-emitting elements; and a second contact electrode disposed on the second electrode and on the second end of each of the light-emitting elements. The trench may include: a first trench for accommodating the light-emitting elements; and a second trench disposed within the first trench.
