[0015] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described.
[0016] (Summary of Embodiment)
[0017] Reference Signs Figure 1 A summary of the system 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. The system 1 is provided with a terminal device 10 and a computing device 20. The terminal device 10 and the computing device 20 are communicably connected, for example, via a network 30 including the Internet and a mobile communication network, and the like.
[0018] The terminal device 10 is an arbitrary information processing device that a user can use. For example, as the terminal device 10, a general-purpose device such as a wearable device, a smartphone, or a PC (Personal Computer) held by a user can be used. Specifically, the "wearable device" is a mobile device such as a badge-type, a watch-type, or a clothing-type device that can be worn at an arbitrary position of a user's clothing or body. In the present embodiment, the terminal device 10 is a badge-type wearable device that is worn at a position of the temple part side when worn on a hat worn by a user, but is not limited to these examples, and an arbitrary general-purpose device can be worn at an arbitrary position. The user of the terminal device 10 is typically a child (for example, a 7-year-old child) in the present embodiment, but is not limited thereto.
[0019] The computing device 20 is an arbitrary information processing device such as one server device or a plurality of server devices capable of communicating with each other.
[0020] First, a general overview of this embodiment will be given, with details to follow. The information processing apparatus in this embodiment is a terminal device 10. The terminal device 10 stores multiple first notifications that prompt safe actions in accordance with the safe actions a user should take. "Safe actions" refer to actions that protect the user, such as checking left and right before crossing a road. When a decision is made to prompt the user to take a safe action based on the user's behavior, the terminal device 10 selects one first notification from the multiple first notifications. The terminal device 10 outputs a presentation instruction for the selected first notification.
[0021] Thus, according to this embodiment, based on the user's behavior, a first notification is selected from a plurality of first notifications urging safe action as the notification presented to the user. Hereinafter, the notification urging safe action will also be referred to as a "report". As in the past, if the same notification is selected as the first notification presented to the user each time, the user will become accustomed to or annoyed by the notification, and the user's attention to the report will gradually decrease. As a result, the probability of the user taking safe action tends to decrease over time. On the other hand, according to this embodiment, it is easy to avoid selecting the same notification as the first notification presented to the user each time. Therefore, the technology related to traffic safety education is improved in terms of easily maintaining the user's attention to the report and easily increasing the probability of the user taking safe action.
[0022] Next, the components of System 1 will be explained in detail.

In the present embodiment, the information indicating the presented first notification is the "first notification ID" of the notification data described above, but is not limited thereto, and can include arbitrary information. In the present embodiment, the result of the action determination is identified by "ON" or "OFF" of the "safety action flag", but is not limited thereto, and an arbitrary method can be employed. In the present embodiment, "ON" indicates that the safety action of the user has been detected, and "OFF" indicates that the safety action of the user has not been detected. In the present embodiment, the safety action is identified by the "safety action ID" of the notification data described above, but is not limited thereto, and can be identified by an arbitrary method. Furthermore, the "action history" can include information indicating the presented second notification after the action determination. In the present embodiment, the information indicating the presented second notification after the action determination is the "second notification ID" of the notification data described above, but is not limited thereto, and can include arbitrary information.
[0040] The control section 16 includes one or more processors, one or more programmable circuits, one or more dedicated circuits, or a combination thereof. The processor is, for example, a general-purpose processor such as a CPU (Central Processing Unit) or a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), or a dedicated processor for a specific processing, but is not limited thereto. The dedicated circuit is, for example, an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), but is not limited thereto. The control section 16 controls the operation of the terminal device 10 as a whole. Details of the operation of the terminal device 10 controlled by the control section 16 are described later.
[0041] (Configuration of the arithmetic device)
[0042] As shown in FIG. 1, the arithmetic device 20 includes a communication section 21, a storage section 22, and a control section 23. Figure 3
[0043] The communication section 21 includes one or more communication interfaces connected to the network 30. The communication interface corresponds to, for example, a mobile communication standard, a wired LAN standard, or a wireless LAN standard, but is not limited thereto, and can correspond to any communication standard. In the present embodiment, the arithmetic device 20 communicates with the terminal device 10 via the communication section 21 and the network 30. Note that the arithmetic device 20 can communicate with a general-purpose device such as a smartphone or a PC held by a user (i.e., a second user) different from the user (i.e., a first user) of the terminal device 10 via the communication section 21 and the network 30.
[0044] The storage section 22 includes one or more memories. Each memory included in the storage section 22 can function as a main storage device, an auxiliary storage device, or a cache memory, for example. The storage section 22 stores any information used in the operation of the arithmetic device 20. For example, the storage section 22 can store a system program, an application program, embedded software, a database, map information, and the like. It can also be that the information stored in the storage section 22 is updated by information acquired from the network 30 via the communication section 21, for example.
[0045] The control section 23 includes one or more processors, one or more programmable circuits, one or more dedicated circuits, or a combination thereof. The control section 23 controls the operation of the arithmetic device 20 as a whole.
[0046] (Work flow of the system)
[0047] Reference is made to Figure 4 The operation of the system 1 of the first embodiment will be described. Figure 4 The operation of the server 20 corresponds to the method of the present embodiment. Figure 4 The operation of the terminal device 10 is shown. Figure 4 The operation of the server 20 is repeatedly executed, for example, at a prescribed period. The prescribed period can be arbitrarily decided.
[0048] Step S100: The control section 16 of the terminal device 10 stores a plurality of first notifications for urging safety actions in correspondence with the safety actions to be taken by the user.
[0049] Specifically, the control section 16 first sets the safety actions to be taken by the user in accordance with the behavior of the user. If the behavior of the user is different, the safety actions to be taken by the user can also be different. The behavior of the user will be described later in step S101. The setting of the safety actions and the correspondence with the plurality of first notifications can employ an arbitrary method, for example, the following method can be employed.
[0050] As the first example, the control section 16 sets one or more checkpoints on the map indicated by the map information at which the user is to take a safety action. In this case, the control section 16 sets one or more checkpoints on the map indicated by the map information at which the user is to take a safety action. The "checkpoint" refers to a place at which a user himself / herself is likely to be in danger from the viewpoint of traffic safety, and examples thereof include an intersection or a place where accidents frequently occur. In other words, the checkpoint is a place at which a certain safety action is required to ensure the safety of the user himself / herself. For example, the control section 16 sets "look left and right" as the safety action at a checkpoint set at an intersection. The control section 16 adds the safety action ID "Al" of the safety action "look left and right" to the notification data. Note that in the present embodiment, the one or more checkpoints can include at least one of a first checkpoint set on the basis of an input by a user (i.e., a second user) different from the user (i.e., a first user) of the terminal device 10 and a second checkpoint set on the basis of an input by the second user. The second user is typically a guardian of the user, but is not limited thereto. The first checkpoint can be set on the basis of information such as traffic volume, accident information, or travel data of a vehicle, but is not limited thereto and can be set on the basis of arbitrary information. The traffic volume or the accident information is, for example, data related to traffic information provided from the Japan Road Traffic Information Center via the network 30, but is not limited thereto and can be arbitrary data. The travel data of the vehicle is, for example, data generated on the basis of DCM (Data Communication Module) data collected from a vehicle traveling at a place on a map via the network 30 for the purpose of determining a place at which dangerous driving such as sudden braking or temporary stop violation is likely to occur, but is not limited thereto and can be arbitrary data. The setting of the second checkpoint can be performed by an arbitrary method. For example, the second user can cause a display of a smartphone held by the second user to display the map information, and set an arbitrary place on the map indicated by the map information (e.g., a place on a route to and from school of the first user) different from the first checkpoint by operating a touch panel. The second user can also transmit information indicating the set second checkpoint to the arithmetic device 20 via a communication section of the smartphone. The arithmetic device 20 can also transmit data in which the received information indicating the second checkpoint is associated with the map information stored in the storage section 22 to the terminal device 10. The terminal device 10 can also update the map information stored in the storage section 15 by the received data.
[0051] As a second example, the control section 16 sets a safe action that the user should take when an unsafe action of the user is detected. In this case, the control section 16 sets a safe action that the user should take when an unsafe action of the user is detected. The "unsafe action" refers to an action that can be dangerous to the user himself or herself. In the second example, first, the control section 16 sets an unsafe action that should be detected. For example, the control section 16 sets an action such as "the user is moving in a direction different from the user's orientation" or "running near a road" as an unsafe action. A typical example of the former is the user walking while looking around or walking backward. Next, the control section 16 sets a safe action that the user should take when the set unsafe action is detected, respectively. For example, the control section 16 sets "walking forward" as a safe action that the user should take when the unsafe action "the user is moving in a direction different from the user's orientation" is detected. The control section 16 adds the safe action ID "A2" of the safe action "walking forward" to the notification data.
[0052] Next, the control section 16 sets a plurality of first notifications for prompting the safe action that the user should take, which is set as in the first example or the second example described above. That is, in the present embodiment, a plurality of options of the first notification (hereinafter, also referred to as "a group of first notifications") is set for one safe action. The group of first notifications can be a sound, a text message, an image, a vibration, or a combination thereof, but in the present embodiment, it is presented in the form of a sound equivalent to a report (hereinafter, also referred to as "a first sound"). The first sound can be an arbitrary sound such as a synthesized sound or a recorded sound. In the present embodiment, a plurality of groups of first notifications corresponding to a plurality of safe actions is set, and the plurality of groups of first notifications is equivalent to the plurality of first notifications of the present embodiment. However, the number of the set safe actions is not limited to a plurality, and can be one. In this case, the group of first notifications corresponding to one safe action is equivalent to the plurality of first notifications of the present embodiment.
[0053] In the first example described above, the control section 16 sets a group of sounds including a message urging a user to perform a safety action in a peripheral area of a certain checkpoint as a group of first notifications. The "peripheral area" is an area in which the distance between the checkpoint and the user is less than a prescribed threshold value. The distance between the checkpoint and the user can be calculated by any method. For example, the control section 16 can calculate the distance between the position of the user on a map represented by map information and each of one or more checkpoints on the map, and calculate the distance between at least one checkpoint for which the calculated distance is the smallest and the user as the distance D. In the case where the distance D is less than a prescribed threshold value, the control section 16 can presume that the user is located within the peripheral area of the at least one checkpoint. The prescribed threshold value can be the same value as the threshold value Dth serving as a reference for the "approach determination" performed in the step S102 described later, or can be a different value from the threshold value Dth. In the former case, the peripheral area is defined based on the threshold value Dth (e.g., a radius of 5 m). Specifically, an area in which the distance from the checkpoint is less than the threshold value Dth (e.g., an area in which the radius of the checkpoint is less than 5 m) can correspond to the peripheral area. On the other hand, in the latter case, the peripheral area is defined using a value larger than the threshold value Dth or a value smaller than the threshold value Dth. For example, an area in which the distance from the checkpoint is less than a value (e.g., a radius of 6 m) larger than the threshold value Dth (e.g., a radius of 5 m) or a value (e.g., a radius of 2 m) smaller than the threshold value Dth can correspond to the peripheral area. Further, for example, the group of first sounds A, B, C, D corresponding to the checkpoint set at a certain intersection can respectively include a message urging a safety action such as "check left and right" such as "check left and right". The control section 16 adds information in which the set group of first sounds is associated with the safety action identified by the safety action ID to the notification data. The control section 16 repeatedly performs this work for each checkpoint.
[0054] In the second example described above, the control section 16 sets a group of sounds including a message corresponding to a certain unsafe action as a group of first notifications. For example, the group of first sounds A, B, C, D corresponding to an unsafe action such as "the user is moving in a direction different from the user's orientation" can respectively include a message urging a safety action such as "walk forward" such as "walk forward". The control section 16 adds information in which the set group of first sounds is associated with the safety action identified by the safety action ID to the notification data. The control section 16 repeatedly performs this work for each unsafe action.
[0055] In this way, the control section 16 stores a plurality of first notifications urging safety actions to be taken by the user in association with the safety actions.
[0056] In the present embodiment, it is explained that the set of the first sounds is composed of four kinds of sounds (the first sounds A, B, C, and D) whose physical characteristic amounts such as the frequency components representing the height or size of the sound and the like are different from each other, and which include the same message for each corresponding safety action. Specifically, the first sound A is a synthetic sound (hereinafter, also referred to as "male synthetic sound") having a first notification ID "1-1" which imitates the voice of an adult male. The first sound B is a synthetic sound (hereinafter, also referred to as "female synthetic sound") having a first notification ID "1-2" which imitates the voice of an adult female. The first sound C is a voice of an animation character (hereinafter, also referred to as "character voice") having a first notification ID "1-3". The first sound D is a recorded voice of a guardian of the user (hereinafter, also referred to as "guardian recorded voice") having a first notification ID "1-4". In the present embodiment, the set of the sounds including the same message for each corresponding safety action is set to the set of the first sounds using the four kinds of sounds whose physical characteristic amounts are different from each other. If the corresponding safety actions are different, the messages of the set of the first sounds are also different. However, the setting of the plurality of first notifications is not limited to these examples, and any method can be employed. For example, the plurality of sets of the first sounds corresponding to the plurality of first notifications do not necessarily include strictly the same message for each corresponding safety action, but can include conceptually equivalent or synonymous messages.
[0057] Step S101: The control section 16 determines the behavior of the user.
[0058] Specifically, the control section 16 acquires the position information of the user via the acquisition section 12, and further acquires information representing the behavior of the user, thereby determining the behavior of the user.
[0059] In the first example described above, the information representing the behavior of the user is information representing how the user moves, i.e., information representing the moving path of the user on the map represented by the map information. In this case, the control section 16 can determine the moving path of the user on the map by analyzing the position information of the user obtained via the acquisition section 12. Further, the control section 16 can acquire information representing the determined moving path as the information representing the behavior of the user. The control section 16 stores the acquired information representing the behavior of the user in the storage section 15.
[0060] In the second example described above, the information indicating the behavior of the user is information indicating whether the user is performing an unsafe action. For example, the unsafe action is "the user is moving in a direction different from the user's orientation". In this case, the control section 16 can determine whether the user is performing the unsafe action by analyzing the user's orientation and the direction of travel. The analysis of the user's orientation and the direction of travel can employ any method. For example, the control section 16 can also acquire orientation information indicating the user's orientation by analyzing the signals of the angular velocity sensor and / or the geomagnetic sensor of the acquisition section 12. The control section 16 can also acquire position information of the user together with the orientation information, and determine the direction of travel of the user based on the movement path of the user on the map obtained by analyzing the acquired position information. As an addition or an alternative, the control section 16 can also determine the direction of travel of the user by analyzing the signals of the acceleration sensor of the acquisition section 12. The control section 16 can determine whether the user is performing the unsafe action based on the acquired orientation information and the determined direction of travel of the user. Specifically, the control section 16 compares the user's orientation indicated by the acquired orientation information with the determined direction of travel of the user. In a case where the result of the comparison is that the user's orientation and the direction of travel of the user are substantially different, the control section 16 determines that the user is moving in a direction different from the user's orientation. On the other hand, in a case where the result of the comparison is that the user's orientation and the direction of travel of the user are substantially the same, the control section 16 determines that the user is not moving in a direction different from the user's orientation. "The user's orientation and the direction of travel of the user are substantially the same" means that the user's orientation and the direction of travel of the user are within a prescribed angular difference (e.g., 90° or less). The prescribed angular difference can be arbitrarily set depending on the wearing position of the terminal device 10. However, the determination of whether the user is moving in a direction different from the user's orientation is not limited to these examples, and any method can be employed. Furthermore, for example, the unsafe action can be "running in the vicinity of a road". In this case, the control section 16 can also acquire orientation information and position information via the acquisition section 12, and further acquire information indicating the speed and acceleration of the user. The control section 16 can determine whether the user starts running by analyzing the acquired information. Also, the control section 16 can acquire the result of the determination of whether the user is performing the unsafe action as the information indicating the behavior of the user. The control section 16 stores the acquired information indicating the behavior of the user in the storage section 15.
[0061] Thus, the control section 16 determines the behavior of the user based on the information acquired via the acquisition section 12. However, the determination of the behavior of the user is not limited to these examples, and any method can be employed.
[0062] Step S102: The control section 16 determines whether or not to urge the user to take a safety action. In a case where it is determined to urge the user to take a safety action (Step S102 - Yes), the process proceeds to Step S103. On the other hand, in a case where it is determined not to urge the user to take a safety action (Step S102 - No), the process ends.
[0063] Specifically, the control section 16 determines whether or not the behavior of the user determined in Step S101 satisfies a prescribed condition. In a case where it is determined that the behavior of the user satisfies the prescribed condition, the control section 16 determines to urge the user to take a safety action corresponding to the behavior. On the other hand, in a case where it is determined that the behavior of the user does not satisfy the prescribed condition, the control section 16 ends the process. Hereinafter, specific examples of the prescribed condition will be described.
[0064] In the first example described above, the prescribed condition is that the user approaches at least one checkpoint. The control section 16 determines whether or not the user approaches at least one checkpoint by analyzing the movement path of the user on the map acquired in Step S101. The determination of whether or not the user approaches at least one checkpoint (hereinafter, also referred to as "approach determination") can employ an arbitrary method. For example, it can be that, in a case where it is detected that the distance D calculated in Step S100 is smaller than a threshold value Dth (for example, a radius of 5 m), the control section 16 determines that the user approaches the at least one checkpoint. In this case, the control section 16 determines that the behavior of the user satisfies the prescribed condition. Then, the control section 16 determines to urge the user to take a safety action corresponding to the behavior. For example, in a case where the at least one checkpoint is an intersection, the control section 16 determines to urge the user to take a safety action corresponding to the user approaching the checkpoint, that is, "left and right confirmation".
[0065] In the second example described above, the prescribed condition is that at least one unsafe action of the user is detected. In a case where it is indicated from the determination result acquired in Step S101 that at least one unsafe action of the user is detected, the control section 16 determines that the behavior of the user satisfies the prescribed condition. Then, the control section 16 determines to urge the user to take a safety action corresponding to the behavior. For example, in a case where the unsafe action is "the user is moving in a direction different from the direction of the user's orientation", the control section 16 determines to urge the user to take a safety action corresponding to the detected unsafe action, that is, "walk straight ahead".
[0066] Step S103: In a case where it is determined to urge the user to take a safety action (Step S102 - Yes), the control section 16 selects one first notification from among the plurality of first notifications.
[0067] Specifically, the control section 16 retrieves the notification database based on the first notification ID, and selects one first sound from among a group of first sounds corresponding to the safety action decided in step S102. In the present embodiment, the control section 16 selects one first sound from among the first sounds A, B, C, D corresponding to the safety action decided in step S102 with equal probability. However, the selection of one first sound can employ any method. For example, it can also be that one first sound is selected in order or randomly each time step S103 is executed. In either case, it is easy to prevent the user from becoming bored due to the same notification being presented each time. As a result, it is easy to maintain the user's attention to the report, and it is easy to increase the probability of the user taking the safety action.
[0068] Thus, through steps S101 to S103, the control section 16 selects one first notification from among a plurality of first notifications in the case where it is decided based on the user's behavior to urge the user to take a safety action.
[0069] Step S104: The control section 16 outputs a presentation instruction for the one first notification selected in step S103.
[0070] Specifically, the control section 16 sends a presentation instruction to the output section 13 instructing the reproduction of the one first sound selected in step S103.
[0071] Step S105: The control section 16 presents the one first notification selected in step S103 via the output section 13. Thereafter, the process ends.
[0072] Specifically, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the first sound selected in step S103 to the user. For example, in the first example described above, assume that the first sound A (synthesized voice of a male) "Confirm the left and right" was selected in step S103. In this case, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce this first sound A to the user. Further, for example, in the second example described above, assume that the first sound B (synthesized voice of a female) "Walk forward" was selected in step S103. In this case, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce this first sound B to the user.
[0073] Thus, according to the first embodiment, a plurality of first notifications, i.e., a group of first notifications, is set for each safety action, and one first notification corresponding to the user's behavior is selected from among the group of first notifications. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the likelihood of the same notification being selected each time as the first notification presented to the user. As a result, it is easy to maintain the user's attention to the report, and it is easy to increase the probability of the user taking the safety action.
[0074] Next, the operation of the system 1 of the second embodiment will be described with reference to Figure 5 to the first embodiment. Figure 5The actions of the process correspond to the method of the present embodiment. Figure 5 The actions of the process show the operation of the terminal device 10 and the operation of the operation device 20. Figure 5 The actions of the process are repeatedly performed, for example, at a prescribed cycle. The prescribed cycle can be arbitrarily decided. The processes of steps S200 to S202 are the same as the processes of steps S100 to S102 explained in the first embodiment, and thus the explanation is omitted. Further, the plurality of sets of the first sound presented in the form of the sound corresponding to the report (i.e., the first sound) correspond to the plurality of first notifications, and thus the explanation is omitted. Hereinafter, the processes after step S203, which are executed in the case where it is decided to urge the safety action in the determination of step S202, are mainly explained, which are different from the first embodiment.
[0075] Step S203: In the case where it is decided to urge the user to take the safety action in step S202 (step S202 - Yes), the control section 16 acquires the action history data of the user.
[0076] Specifically, the control section 16 acquires the action history data of the user with reference to the action history database stored in the storage section 15. In the present embodiment, the action history data includes information indicating the first sound reproduced among the plurality of first sounds corresponding to the plurality of first notifications (i.e., the first sound having the reproduction performance), and information indicating the result of the determination (i.e., the action determination) of whether or not the user took the safety action after the reproduction instruction of the first sound was output. In the present embodiment, the action history data further includes the safety action ID of the safety action as the determination object and information indicating the reproduction time of the first sound. For example, the action history data includes the first notification ID "1-1" of the first sound A, the "off" safety action flag as the result of the determination of whether or not the user took the safety action after the reproduction instruction of the first sound A was output, the safety action ID "A1", and information indicating the reproduction time of the first sound A. However, the action history data is not limited to these examples, and can include arbitrary information.
[0077] In the present embodiment, the action history data is stored in the storage section 15, but can be stored in an external storage, such as the storage section 22 of the operation device 20. In this case, the control section 16 transmits the information to the communication section 21 of the operation device 20 via the communication section 11. The control section 23 of the operation device 20 stores the information received via the communication section 21 in the storage section 22. The control section 23 can also use the information to generate data indicating the movement path and the history of the safety action of the user (the first user) on the map indicated by the map information, separately. In this case, the control section 23 can transmit the data to the smartphone of a second user (for example, a guardian of the first user) in response to a request from the smartphone of the second user, for example. It can be configured such that the second user can confirm the movement path and the history of the safety action of the first user by reflecting the received history data on the map displayed on the display of the smartphone of the second user. Further, from the viewpoint of ensuring the safety of the first user himself or herself, the second user can add or delete the second check point as needed by operating the smartphone.
[0078] Step S204: The control section 16 selects one first notification based on the action history data acquired in step S203.
[0079] Specifically, the control section 16 calculates, for each of the set of first sounds corresponding to the safety action decided in step S202, a probability that the user takes the safety action after the first sound is reproduced based on the action history data (hereinafter, also referred to as "first success rate"). The calculation of the first success rate can employ any method. For example, the control section 16 can acquire, for each of the set of first sounds corresponding to the safety action decided in step S202, the cumulative reproduction number of the first sound reproduced within a prescribed period (for example, the last one month period) and the number of safety actions in which the user takes the safety action after the reproduction based on the action history data. The control section 16 can calculate the first success rate from the acquired cumulative reproduction number and the number of safety actions. Also, the control section 16 extracts the first sound corresponding to the first notification with the highest calculated first success rate when selecting one first sound corresponding to one first notification from the set of first sounds corresponding to a plurality of first notifications. Thus, the control section 16 can select the first sound corresponding to the first notification with the highest probability that the user takes the safety action. Therefore, it is easy to increase the probability that the user takes the safety action after the first notification is presented.
[0080] However, in the above example, there is also a possibility that the same first notification is selected each time the user takes the safety action. In this case, in the step S206 described later, it is possible that the same first notification is presented to the user each time. As a result, there is also a possibility that the user becomes accustomed to or bored with the notification and it is difficult to maintain the user's attention to the report.
[0081] Therefore, the control section 16 can also classify the plurality of first notifications into a plurality of groups in which the first success rates are different, and select one first notification from any of the groups with a prescribed probability when selecting one first notification from the plurality of first notifications. For example, the control section 16 can also classify the plurality of first notifications into either a first group in which the first success rates are equal to or higher than a threshold value (for example, 80%) and a second group in which the first success rates are lower than the threshold value. The number of groups is not limited to two, and can be three or more. Also, when selecting one first notification from the plurality of first notifications, the control section 16 can make a first selection rate, which is the probability of selecting one first notification from the first group, higher than a second selection rate, which is the probability of selecting one first notification from the second group. Thereby, by adjusting the first selection rate and the second selection rate, it is easy to avoid selecting the same first notification each time in the step S204. As a result, it is easy to avoid presenting the same notification each time in the subsequent step S206, and it is easy to further prevent the user from becoming accustomed to or bored. Therefore, it is easy to maintain the user's attention to the report, and it is easy to further increase the probability of the user taking the safety action. Furthermore, in the present embodiment, when selecting one first notification from the plurality of first notifications included in any of the groups, one first notification is selected with equal probability, but this is not limiting, and it is also possible that the higher the first success rate of a first notification, the higher the probability of the first notification being selected. Thereby, it is easy to avoid selecting the same first notification each time in the step S204, and it is easy to further increase the probability of the user taking the safety action.
[0082] Thus, when selecting one first notification from the plurality of first notifications, the control section 16 selects one first notification based on the action history data.
[0083] Step S205: The control section 16 outputs a presentation instruction of the one first notification selected in the step S204.
[0084] Specifically, the control section 16 transmits a presentation instruction indicating the one first notification selected in the step S204 to the output section 13.
[0085] Step S206: The control section 16 presents the one first notification selected in the step S204 via the output section 13. After that, the process proceeds to the step S207.
[0086] Specifically, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the first sound selected in step S204 to the user. For example, in the first example described above, it is assumed that the first sound A (the synthesized voice of a male) of "Confirm the left and right" is selected in step S204. In this case, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the first sound A to the user. Further, for example, in the second example described above, it is assumed that the first sound B (the synthesized voice of a female) of "Go forward" is selected in step S204. In this case, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the first sound B to the user.
[0087] Step S207: The control section 16 determines whether or not the user has taken the safety action. In a case where it is determined that the user has taken the safety action (step S207 - Yes), the process proceeds to step S211. On the other hand, in a case where it is determined that the user has not taken the safety action (step S207 - No), the process proceeds to step S208. The operation of step S207 corresponds to the action determination of the present embodiment.
[0088] Specifically, the control section 16 determines whether or not the user has taken the safety action decided in step S202. The determination of whether or not the safety action has been taken, that is, the action determination, can employ any method.
[0089] For example, in the first example described above, the control section 16 refers to the information indicating the behavior of the user acquired in step S201, and determines whether or not at least one checkpoint judged to be approached by the user is detected. In a case where at least one checkpoint is detected, the control section 16 determines whether or not the corresponding safety action (for example, the left and right confirmation) is detected within the peripheral area of the checkpoint. The determination of whether or not the corresponding safety action is detected can employ any method. For example, the control section 16 can also determine whether or not the corresponding safety action (for example, the left and right confirmation) is detected by acquiring information indicating the action of the user (for example, whether or not the head of the user is swung left and right) by analyzing the signals of the angular velocity sensor and / or the geomagnetic sensor of the acquisition section 12. In a case where the corresponding safety action is detected, the control section 16 determines that the user has taken the safety action.
[0090] Further, for example, in the second example described above, the control section 16 refers to the information indicating the behavior of the user acquired in step S201, and determines whether or not it is detected that the user is performing an unsafe action (for example, "the user is moving in a direction different from the orientation of the user"). In a case where it is detected that the user is performing an unsafe action, the control section 16 determines whether or not it is detected that a safe action corresponding to the detected unsafe action (for example, "walking forward") is performed. The determination of whether or not the safe action corresponding to the unsafe action is detected can employ an arbitrary method. For example, the control section 16 can also detect the unsafe action by analyzing the orientation and the direction of travel of the first user by performing the action described in step S101. This action can also be repeatedly performed at a prescribed period, for example. The prescribed period can be arbitrarily determined.
[0091] Step S208: The control section 16 selects one second notification based on the action history data.
[0092] Specifically, the storage section 15 stores a plurality of second notifications different from the plurality of first notifications in the notification database together with second notification IDs. The plurality of second notifications are another set of notifications (hereinafter, also referred to as "a set of second notifications") set in correspondence with the set of first notifications corresponding to the safety action decided in step S202. The set of second notifications can be a sound, a text message, an image, a vibration, or a combination thereof, but in the present embodiment, is presented in the form of a sound (hereinafter, also referred to as "a second sound") for presenting the user with a negative determination result and urging the next safety action. The second sound can be an arbitrary sound such as a synthesized sound or a recorded sound. In the present embodiment, a plurality of sets of second notifications corresponding to the plurality of sets of first notifications are set, and the plurality of sets of second notifications correspond to the plurality of second notifications of the present embodiment. However, as described in step S100, in the case where the number of set safety actions is one, the number of sets of first notifications can not be a plurality of sets but one set. In this case, the set of second notifications corresponding to the set of first notifications corresponds to the plurality of second notifications of the present embodiment. As the set of second notifications, another set of sounds (i.e., second sounds) can be set which, although including a message different from the set of first sounds corresponding to the safety action decided in step S202, includes a message corresponding to the set of first sounds. For example, as the set of second sounds corresponding to the set of first sounds such as "check the left and right," a set of sounds including a message such as "check the left and right next time" can be set. Further, for example, as the set of second sounds corresponding to the set of first sounds such as "walk forward," a set of sounds including a message such as "walk forward next time" can be set. The set of second sounds thus set is stored in the notification database of the storage section 15 together with the second notification ID. Then, the control section 16 retrieves the notification database based on the second notification ID, and selects one second sound from the set of second sounds corresponding to the set of first sounds corresponding to the safety action decided in step S202.
[0093] In the present embodiment, when a second sound corresponding to one second notification is selected, the control section 16 is able to select a second sound corresponding to one second notification whose probability of the user taking a safe action at the next action determination is the highest by referring to the action history data of the action history database stored in the storage section 15. In a specific example, as will be described later in step S211, the control section 16 appends, to the action history data, information indicating a first sound corresponding to one first notification, information indicating the result of the action determination, and information indicating a second sound corresponding to a second notification that is reproduced after the action determination, each time the action determination of step S207 is performed. When selecting one second sound from a group of second sounds, the control section 16 refers to the action history data to which the results of the action determinations up to the last time are appended, and calculates, for each of the group of second sounds, the probability that the user actually took a safe action at the next (i.e., immediately following) action determination after the second sound is reproduced (hereinafter, also referred to as "second success rate"). The calculation of the second success rate can be performed by any method. For example, the control section 16 can also refer to the action history data, and acquire, for each of the second sounds selected in step S208, the cumulative reproduction number of the second sound reproduced within a prescribed period (e.g., the last month) and the number of safe actions determined to be taken by the user in the action determination (i.e., the immediately following action determination) after the reproduction. The control section 16 can also calculate the second success rate from the acquired cumulative reproduction number and the number of safe actions.
[0094] For example, assume that in the first action determination, it is determined that the user did not take a safe action (step S207 of the first time - No), but in the second action determination, it is determined that the user took a safe action (step S207 of the second time - Yes). In this case, it is possible that the user was influenced not only by the first sound reproduced before the action determination of the second time (step S206 of the second time), but also by the second sound reproduced after the action determination of the last time (the first time), resulting in the user stopping the unsafe action and taking a safe action, i.e., improvement of the action. As the result of the action determination is accumulated, the higher the frequency of the same result, the higher the possibility. Typically, sometimes it is found that a user who did not show improvement of the action after the reproduction of other second sounds at a certain time point shows improvement of the action after the reproduction of a certain one second sound (e.g., a recorded sound of a guardian). This indicates that if the one second sound is reproduced, the second success rate is easily made high. In other words, a stronger causal relationship is confirmed between the one second sound and the safe action than other second sounds. The action history data can also be said to be data indicating such a causal relationship. The control section 16 can predict the probability that the user takes a safe action at the next action determination by referring to the second success rate calculated from the action history data. Then, the control section 16 extracts the second sound with the highest second success rate calculated based on the action history data when selecting one second sound from a group of second sounds. Thus, the control section 16 can select one second sound that corresponds to the one second sound with the highest probability that the user takes a safe action at the next action determination. As a result, the probability that the user takes a safe action at the next action determination is easily made high. Therefore, the probability that the user takes a safe action is easily further improved.
[0095] In the present embodiment, a plurality of options of the second sound (i.e., a set of second sounds) is set for each corresponding set of first sounds. In the present embodiment, an example is described in which a set of second sounds is set to four kinds of sounds (second sounds E, F, G, H) that include the same message in each corresponding set of first sounds and that are different from each other in terms of a physical characteristic amount such as a frequency component representing the height or size of the sound. Specifically, the second sound E is a synthesized sound of a male with a second notification ID "2-1". The second sound F is a synthesized sound of a female with a second notification ID "2-2". The second sound G is a sound of a character with a second notification ID "2-3". The second sound H is a recorded sound of a guardian with a second notification ID "2-4". In the present embodiment, a set of sounds that include the same message in each corresponding set of first sounds is set to a set of second sounds using the four kinds of sounds that are different from each other in terms of the physical characteristic amount. If the corresponding set of first sounds is different, the message of the set of second sounds is also different. However, the setting of the plurality of second notifications is not limited to these examples, and any method can be employed. For example, a plurality of sets of second sounds corresponding to the plurality of second notifications is not necessarily limited to including the same message in each corresponding set of first sounds, but can include a message that is conceptually equivalent or synonymous.
[0096] Step S209: The control section 16 outputs a presentation instruction of the one second notification selected in step S208.
[0097] Specifically, the control section 16 transmits a presentation instruction indicating the reproduction of the one second sound selected in step S208 to the output section 13.
[0098] Thus, through steps S207 to S209, after the action determination, the control section 16 selects one second notification from the plurality of second notifications and outputs a presentation instruction of the selected one second notification.
[0099] Step S210: The control section 16 presents the one second notification selected in step S208 via the output section 13. Thereafter, the process proceeds to step S211.
[0100] Specifically, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the second sound selected in step S208 to the user. For example, in the first example described above, it is assumed that the second sound E (synthesized sound of a male) of "Let's check left and right next time" is selected in step S208. In this case, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the second sound E to the user. Further, for example, in the second example described above, it is assumed that the second sound F (synthesized sound of a female) of "Let's walk forward next time" is selected in step S208. In this case, the control section 16 causes the output section 13 to reproduce the second sound F to the user.
[0101] Step S211: The control section 16 appends information to the action history data. After that, the process ends.
[0102] Specifically, the control section 16 appends the first notification ID as information indicating one first notification, i.e., the first sound reproduced in step S206, the safety action flag as information indicating the result of the determination, i.e., the result of the action determination of step S207, and the second notification ID as information indicating the second notification reproduced after the determination, i.e., the second sound reproduced in step S210, to the action history data.
[0103] For example, in the first example described above, it is assumed that the first sound A (synthesized voice of a man) "Confirm the left and right" is reproduced in step S206. In this case, the control section 16 appends the first notification ID "1-1" of the first sound A and the safety action ID "Al" of the safety action "Confirm the left and right" to the action history data. Further, it is assumed that the result of the action determination of step S207 is an affirmative result (step S207 - Yes). In this case, the control section 16 appends the "on" safety action flag to the action history data. On the other hand, it is assumed that the result of the action determination of step S207 is a negative result (step S207 - No). Further, it is assumed that the second sound F (synthesized voice of a woman) "Confirm the left and right next time" is reproduced in step S210 after the action determination. In this case, the control section 16 appends the "off" safety action flag and the second notification ID "2-2" of the second sound F to the action history data.
[0104] Further, for example, in the second example described above, it is assumed that the first sound C (voice of a character) "Go forward" is reproduced in step S206. In this case, the control section 16 appends the first notification ID "1-3" of the first sound C and the safety action ID "A2" of the safety action "Go forward" to the action history data. Further, it is assumed that the result of the action determination of step S207 is a negative result (step S207 - No). In this case, the control section 16 appends the "off" safety action flag to the action history data. Further, it is assumed that the second sound H (recorded voice of a guardian) "Confirm the left and right next time" is reproduced in step S210 after the action determination. In this case, the control section 16 appends the second notification ID "2-4" of the second sound F to the action history data.
[0105] Thus, the control section 16 makes a determination as to whether or not the user has taken a safety action after outputting a presentation instruction of one first notification (step S205). At the time of each determination, the control section 16 appends information indicating one first notification, information indicating the result of the determination, and information indicating a second notification presented after the determination, to the action history data of the user (step S211). As described above, these pieces of information can be used to calculate the second success rate at the time of the next action determination.
[0106] Thus, according to the second embodiment, in addition to selecting one first notification from among a plurality of first notifications, one second notification can be selected from among a plurality of second notifications, for which the probability that the user will take a safety action at the time of the next action determination is highest. That is, a notification to which the user is more likely to pay attention can be easily selected. Thus, the user's attention to the report can be easily maintained, and the probability that the user will stop the unsafe action and take a safety action can be further increased.
[0107] As described above, the terminal device 10 as the information processing apparatus of the above-described embodiment stores a plurality of first notifications for urging a safety action in correspondence with a safety action that the user should take. In a case where it is determined that the user should be urged to take a safety action in accordance with the user's behavior, the terminal device 10 selects one first notification from among the plurality of first notifications. The terminal device 10 outputs a presentation instruction of the selected one first notification.
[0108] According to this configuration, a plurality of first notifications, i.e., a group of first notifications, is set for each safety action, and one first notification corresponding to the user's behavior is selected from among the group of first notifications. Thus, unlike in the past, the possibility that the same notification is selected each time as the first notification presented to the user can be reduced. Thus, in terms of easily maintaining the user's attention to the report and easily increasing the probability that the user will take a safety action, the technology related to traffic safety education is improved.
[0109] While the present disclosure has been described on the basis of the drawings and embodiments, it is to be noted that various modifications and changes can be made by those skilled in the art on the basis of the present disclosure. Therefore, it is to be noted that these modifications and changes are included in the scope of the present disclosure. For example, the functions and the like included in each of the constituent sections or steps and the like can be reconfigured in a manner that is not logically contradictory, a plurality of constituent sections or steps and the like can be combined into one, or divided.
[0110] Further, for example, in the above-described embodiment, both the first notification and the second notification are presented in the form of sound, but it can also be an embodiment in which the notification of at least one of them is presented in another form such as the form of vibration. In this case, in the notification data of the notification database, as the data of the notification, data indicating the intensity or vibration pattern of the vibration output from the output section 13 can also be stored. The intensity or vibration pattern of the vibration can also be set to vary according to the distance between any one of the checkpoints and the user in the above-described first example, and to vary according to the duration of the unsafe action in the above-described second example. For example, it can also be set so that the smaller the distance or the longer the duration of the unsafe action, the stronger the vibration. Further, in the case where both the first notification and the second notification are presented in the form of vibration, it can also be possible to distinguish the notifications of the two by changing the intensity or vibration pattern of the vibration output from the output section 13 for each notification. The setting that thus changes the presentation mode of the notification is not limited to the notification based on vibration, but can also be applied to other notification forms as appropriate. Thereby, it is easy to make the user feel the change in the degree of danger and / or distinguish the notifications of the two, and it is easy to ensure the safety of the user himself or herself.
[0111] Further, for example, the control section 16 of the terminal device 10 can also transmit the history data to the smartphone of a user (i.e., a second user) different from the user (i.e., a first user) of the terminal device 10, according to a request from the smartphone of the second user, without via the network 30, via a local network such as a wireless LAN or via Bluetooth (registered trademark) or via infrared communication or the like. In this case, it can be set so that the terminal device 10 of the first user and the smartphone of the second user directly transmit and receive data, and the second user can confirm the history of the movement path and the safe action of the first user.
[0112] Further, for example, in the above-described embodiment, it can also be an embodiment in which the configuration and the operation of the terminal device 10 are distributed to a plurality of computers capable of communicating with each other.
[0113] Further, for example, it is also possible to provide the constituent elements of a part or all of the terminal device 10 to the operation device 20. For example, it is also possible to provide an embodiment in which the operation device 20 performs a part or all of the work performed by the terminal device 10. In this case, the information processing device of the present embodiment is the operation device 20. For example, it is also possible that the operation device 20 is further provided with a constituent element corresponding to the acquisition section 12 of the terminal device 10, and the control section 23 of the operation device 20 performs a part or all of the work of the control section 16 of the terminal device 10. The control section 23 of the operation device 20 can also perform work other than the work of presenting the first notification or the second notification via the output section 13 of the terminal device 10 (i.e., steps S105, S206, or S210). In this case, in steps S104, S205, or S209, the control section 23 of the operation device 20 can also transmit the presentation instruction of one first notification or one second notification to the communication section 11 of the terminal device 10 via the network 30. The control section 16 of the terminal device 10 can also transmit the presentation instruction of one first notification or one second notification received via the communication section 11 to the output section 13.
[0114] Further, for example, it is also possible to provide an embodiment in which a general-purpose computer functions as the terminal device 10 of the above-described embodiments. Specifically, a program in which the processing contents of each function of the terminal device 10 of the above-described embodiments are recorded is stored in a memory of the general-purpose computer, and the program is read out and executed by a processor. Therefore, the present disclosure can also be realized as a program that the processor can execute, or a non-transitory computer-readable medium (storage medium) that stores the program.
