Description

Technical Field

[0001] This invention relates to air cushions, and more particularly to air cushions that provide excellent support for the user's pelvis. Background Technology

[0002] In recent years, with the increase in desktop work in companies and remote work from home using personal computers (PCs), users have spent significantly more time performing tasks while seated in chairs attached to desks.

[0003] The increased working hours of desktop and remote work can easily lead to hunchback and stooping caused by excessive pelvic tilt, and increase the burden on the lumbar and thoracic spine. Therefore, it is a serious cause of back pain, herniated discs, and other problems.

[0004] Therefore, various cushions have been proposed to improve the usability of the user.

[0005] As such a cushion, for example, a cushion that can be combined with a neck cushion, mat, etc., and whose height can be adjusted according to the position of the user's neck, waist, etc. (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0006] More specifically, such as Figure 11 As shown in (a), a pad 200 is provided such that an elastomer such as foam material is contained inside, and at least two air bladders (201′, 201″) are arranged opposite each other in the vertical direction.

[0007] Moreover, the pad 200 is as follows: an air control unit for controlling the filling and expulsion of air is provided in one airbag (201′), and passage holes and connecting parts are formed on the surfaces of the two airbags respectively, and the two airbags (201′, 201″) are directly connected.

[0008] In addition, a seat pressure relief air cushion that can distribute the pressure acting on the buttocks when the user is seated is proposed (for example, see Patent Document 2).

[0009] More specifically, such as Figure 11 As shown in (b), the seat pressure relief air cushion 300 includes: a main body 301; a pair of recesses 302 corresponding to the buttocks; a pressure prevention hole 303 located in the center; a hollow edge 304 located around the perimeter; and air circulation holes connecting the main body 301 and the edge 304.

[0010] Patent Document 1: US2015 / 0366368A1 Publication (claims, drawings, etc.)

[0011] Patent Document 2: Japanese Utility Model Registration No. 3000758 (Utility Model Registration Claims, Drawings, etc.)

[0012] However, the cushion described in Patent Document 1 is not designed to support the user's waist and other parts from the left and right sides, so it has the following problem: it cannot prevent the pelvis from tilting when the user is seated.

[0013] Furthermore, the following problem was also found: even when combined with neck cushions, mats, etc., the airbag itself does not follow the tilt of the pelvis when the user tilts their body to the left or right. As a result, it is not effective enough to reduce the load on the lumbar and thoracic spine.

[0014] Furthermore, the seat pressure relief air cushion described in Patent Document 2 is not a structure in which the surrounding edge supports the waist from the left and right directions. Therefore, there is a problem that the airflow to the surrounding edge becomes uneven due to the user's body shape and sitting posture, and it cannot prevent pelvic tilt.

[0015] Furthermore, this seat pressure relief air cushion has the following problems: its structure is complex, it involves many manufacturing processes, and it is difficult to manufacture stably, which is economically disadvantageous. Summary of the Invention

[0016] Therefore, the inventors of this application, through in-depth research in view of such problems, discovered that by providing multiple air chambers through a specified inner welded portion and utilizing the flow of filling air when the user sits, excellent support for the user's pelvis can be achieved, thus completing the present invention.

[0017] That is, the object of the present invention is to provide an air cushion in which multiple interconnected air chambers are raised in an inclined state along the vertical direction by the flow of filling air when the user sits, thereby covering the waist and maintaining excellent pelvic support even when the user leans to the left or right.

[0018] According to the present invention, an air cushion is provided that can solve the above-mentioned problems. The air cushion has an outer welded portion along the outer periphery of a flat bag-shaped object. It is characterized in that, in a top view, it has at least: a first air chamber as a seating portion; a second air chamber as a side support portion disposed to the left of the first air chamber; and a third air chamber as an opposing side support portion disposed to the right of the first air chamber. The first air chamber, the second air chamber, and the third air chamber are connected by a through portion to allow the filling air to move relative to each other, and it has a U-shaped inner welded portion that divides the first air chamber, the second air chamber, and the third air chamber.

[0019] That is, according to the air cushion of the present invention, when seated, the first air chamber is compressed from above, thereby pressing the first inner welded portion downward, and the filling air expands outward along the planar direction to the outer periphery, and the second and third air chambers are easily erected in the vertical direction in such a state of inward tilt.

[0020] Therefore, when seated, the air chamber is designed to stand up easily and provide support by wrapping around the pelvis from both sides, maintaining excellent pelvic support even if the user leans to the left or right.

[0021] Furthermore, when not in use, the air cushion can be easily folded into a thinner, more compact shape, and because it is lightweight, it is also easy to carry and store.

[0022] Furthermore, it is preferable that, when the above-mentioned U-shaped inner weld portion is used as the first inner weld portion in the present invention, one or more U-shaped first' inner weld portions are provided in the first air chamber at predetermined intervals, in addition to the first inner weld portion.

[0023] By designing the structure in this way, regardless of the user's body shape or weight, the seating comfort of the first air chamber can be improved, and the flow of filling air during seating can be controlled more precisely.

[0024] Furthermore, it is preferable that, when constructing the present invention, in the case where the above-mentioned U-shaped inner weld portion is used as the first inner weld portion, a second inner weld portion is provided, the second inner weld portion being connected to the first inner weld portion, and having at least one shape selected from square, rectangle, inverted V-shape and inverted U-shape when viewed from above.

[0025] By designing the structure in this way, the flow of filling air during seating can be controlled more precisely by controlling the direct movement of air between the second and third air chambers.

[0026] Furthermore, it is preferable that, in the present invention, a fourth air chamber is provided as a rear support portion, and the fourth air chamber is disposed behind the first air chamber.

[0027] By designing a structure with such a fourth air chamber, the pelvis can be supported from the rear, and together with the second and third air chambers, it can further provide excellent support for the user's pelvis.

[0028] Furthermore, it is preferable that, when constructing the present invention, the lower outer periphery of the flat bag-shaped object is made into a double-peak shape spanning the second and third air chambers when viewed from above.

[0029] This structure allows for smoother erection of the second and third air chambers.

[0030] Furthermore, it is preferable that, when constructing the present invention, there is another inner weld portion that is horizontal or curved and spans the second and third air chambers.

[0031] By designing a structure with another inner weld (hereinafter referred to as the third inner weld), when the second and third air chambers are erected, these air chambers bend along the third inner weld, which can further enhance the contact with the waist.

[0032] Furthermore, it is preferable that, in the present invention, an anti-slip portion is provided on the surface of the seating portion, and the anti-slip portion has a prescribed regular pattern or a random pattern.

[0033] By incorporating such an anti-slip structure, the anti-slip properties of the seat surface are improved, allowing the air to move more smoothly and thus enhancing pelvic support.

[0034] Furthermore, it is preferable that, in the construction of the present invention, at least one of the second air chamber and the third air chamber is provided with a filling port for filling air.

[0035] By designing the structure in this way, it is possible to easily and precisely control the filling amount of filling air and the exhaust air volume by combining specified pumps, etc. Attached Figure Description

[0049] [First Implementation]

[0050] like Figure 1 As illustrated in (a), the first embodiment is an air cushion 10 having an outer weld portion 20 along the outer periphery of a flat bag-shaped object 11. It is characterized in that, when viewed from above, it has at least a first air chamber 12 as a seating portion, a second air chamber 14 as a side support portion disposed to the left of the first air chamber 12, and a third air chamber 16 as an opposing side support portion disposed to the right of the first air chamber 12. The first air chamber 12, the second air chamber 14, and the third air chamber 16 are connected by a passage portion 30 to allow the filling air to move relative to each other, and it has a U-shaped first inner weld portion 22 that divides the first air chamber 12, the second air chamber 14, and the third air chamber 16.

[0051] Hereinafter, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings, a first embodiment of the air cushion 10 of the present invention will be specifically described.

[0052] 1. Flat bag-shaped object

[0053] like Figure 1 As shown in (a), the flat bag 11 (hereinafter simply referred to as bag 11) serves as the outer packaging of the air cushion 10, and is able to retain air filled from the filling port (not shown) inside, and is a flat component with a specified thickness when filled with air.

[0054] More specifically, the preferred structures are as follows: fusing the outer periphery of a pair of sheet-like objects to form a bag-like structure; bending the sheet-like objects and fusing the outer periphery (excluding the bending line) to form a bag-like structure; and fusing the opening of the sheet-like objects to form a cylindrical shape to form a bag-like structure, etc.

[0055] The reason for this is that even a simple structure can form a generally flat bag-shaped object 11 suitable for preventing air leakage to the outside.

[0056] (1) Material

[0057] Furthermore, the material of the pair of sheets constituting the bag is not particularly limited as long as it is a material that can prevent air from leaking to the outside and is a material that can be welded. However, it is generally preferred to use a resin with a lower melting point in the case of crystalline resin (or a resin with a lower glass transition temperature or softening point in the case of non-crystalline resin).

[0058] More specifically, the preferred materials are single-layer sheets made of at least one of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyester (PES), polycarbonate (PC), polyamide (PA), polyurethane (PU), thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), thermoplastic rubber (TPR), ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), etc., or laminates of multiple sheets derived from multiple resins.

[0059] The reason for this is that by using one or more sheets derived from such resin, it is possible to easily melt them through a specified welding process to create a bag-like material with a desired elastic modulus and softness.

[0060] Furthermore, because of the use of sheets derived from such resin, the pelvic support exhibits excellent resistance to external impacts and internal air pressure, and can maintain excellent pelvic support over a long period of time.

[0061] In addition, to enhance the skin feel, decorative properties, and artificial leather-like qualities of the cushion, the materials used for the two sheets are preferably napped sheets made of the aforementioned materials, sheets with micro-embossing, or sheets with micro-surface treatment.

[0062] In addition, the melting point of the material constituting the bag is not particularly limited as long as it is a temperature that will not break due to the use of welding devices, etc., but it is generally preferred to be a value in the range of 50 to 300°C.

[0063] The reason is that if the melting point is such, it is not easily damaged by the use of welding devices, etc., and it has appropriate softness as an air cushion.

[0064] Therefore, it is more preferable that the melting point of the material constituting the bag is in the range of 60 to 280°C, and even more preferably in the range of 80 to 250°C.

[0065] Alternatively, a protective cover is preferably provided around or on the surface of the bag.

[0066] The reason is that by setting up a protective cover, durability can be improved and the tactile feel when seated can be enhanced.

[0067] That is, the protective cover is preferably made of a woven fabric.

[0068] Specifically, it is preferably composed of a fabric woven with at least one of polyester fiber, polyurethane fiber, polyethylene fiber, polyamide fiber, etc., and more preferably composed of a fabric woven with a covering yarn, which uses these fibers as the core yarn and wraps around other fibers.

[0069] (2) Shape

[0070] In addition, the planar shape of the bag is not particularly limited as long as it can support the waist connected to it below the buttocks. Generally, when viewed from above, it is preferred to be at least one of the following: circle, ellipse, triangle, inverted triangle, quadrilateral (including square and rectangle), polygon (e.g., 5 to 10 sides), rhombus, irregular shape, and a shape in which part of these shapes is concave inward.

[0071] The reason for this is that, by designing it in this way, even with a relatively simple structure, a relatively large seating area can be ensured, and the second and third air chambers can be easily erected, thus easily providing excellent pelvic support.

[0072] Furthermore, from the viewpoint of further enhancing pelvic support, it is more preferable to make the shape of the bag-like object, when viewed from above, at least one of the following: an inverted convex shape, a gourd shape with overlapping large and small circles, an inverted pot shape, a shovel shape, etc., so that the fourth air chamber, described later, becomes a shape that protrudes rearward.

[0073] Furthermore, regarding the planar shape of the bag-like object, it is preferable that, when viewed from above, the lower outer periphery of the flat bag-like object has a double-peak shape spanning the second and third air chambers.

[0074] Specifically, the preferred option is: Figure 1 As shown in (a), the lower outer periphery 36 of the bag 11 has a bimodal shape at the portion that spans the second and third air chambers.

[0075] The reason for this is that by setting it to this shape, the second and third air chambers can be erected more smoothly.

[0076] (3) Size

[0077] In addition, the maximum diameter representing the size of the flat shape of the bag is not particularly limited as long as it can be laid under the buttocks and support the waist, but it is usually preferred to be set in the range of 150 to 1000 mm.

[0078] The reason for this is that by setting such a maximum diameter, when placed on a chair or the ground and seated, it can prevent swaying in the forward and backward or left and right directions, and can more stably support the pelvis.

[0079] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the maximum diameter of the planar shape of the bag to a value in the range of 300 to 800 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 400 to 700 mm.

[0080] Furthermore, the maximum diameter of the planar shape of the bag can be defined as the diameter of the circumcircle of the planar shape of the bag.

[0081] (4) Thickness when filled with air

[0082] Furthermore, the thickness of the bag-shaped portion can be defined, based on the installation plane, as the height H1 of the uppermost surface of the bag-shaped portion in the vertical direction when filled with air (refer to...). Figure 2 (b)

[0083] At this point, the thickness of the bag-shaped part is preferably such that it provides adequate cushioning when seated, and can be appropriately adjusted to take into account the user's body shape, weight, etc. It is usually preferably set to a value in the range of 10 to 150 mm.

[0084] The reason for this is that by setting the thickness to this level, it provides excellent support for the buttocks when placed on a chair or the ground and when seated, and can prevent excessive sinking, thus improving the support for the pelvis.

[0085] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the thickness of the bag to a value in the range of 20 to 120 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 30 to 100 mm.

[0086] 2. Outer welded part

[0087] like Figure 1 As shown in (a), the outer welded portion 20 is a portion in which at least a portion of the outer periphery of the bag 11 is welded in such a way that the welded surface is flat or embossed in order to prevent the filling air from leaking to the outside of the bag 11.

[0088] In addition, to improve sealing and other properties, it is preferable to provide an adhesive layer as an intermediate layer between the two fused sheets in the outer welded portion.

[0089] Specifically, as the adhesive layer, at least one of the following is generally preferred: hot melt adhesive, epoxy adhesive, polyurethane adhesive, acrylic adhesive, EVA adhesive, SBR adhesive, NBR adhesive, etc.

[0090] The reason for this is that by setting such an adhesive layer, various sheets can be bonded more seamlessly and firmly, and the amount of filling air leakage to the outside of the bag can be further reduced.

[0091] In addition, the width of the outer welded portion is not particularly limited as long as it is a width that can maintain the adhesive force of the welded portion without peeling when repeatedly seated and used, but it is usually preferred to set it to a value in the range of 3 to 30 mm.

[0092] The reason for this is that by setting the width to such a degree, a seamless and secure bond can be achieved, which can more effectively prevent the filling air from leaking to the outside of the bag.

[0093] Therefore, the width of the outer weld portion is more preferably set to a value in the range of 4 to 25 mm, and even more preferably set to a value in the range of 5 to 20 mm.

[0094] 3. Air chamber

[0095] (1) First air chamber

[0096] like Figure 1 As shown in (a), the first air chamber 12 is positioned in front of the first inner welded portion 22 when viewed from above, and is placed under the buttocks as a seating portion.

[0097] Specifically, it has the following structure: it communicates with the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 (described later) via the passage 30 (described later), bears the pressure when seated, and squeezes the air filled inside into the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16.

[0098] Furthermore, the height of the first air chamber 12 can be defined, based on the installation plane, as the height H4 of the uppermost surface of the bag-shaped structure constituting the first air chamber 12 in the vertical direction when filled with air (refer to...). Figure 2 (b)

[0099] At this point, the height of the first air chamber 12 is not particularly limited as long as it can adequately ensure cushioning of the ischium, but it is usually preferred to be set to a value in the range of 5 to 60 mm.

[0100] The reason for this is that by setting the height to this level, the cushioning effect on the user's coccyx is further improved when the user is seated in the first air chamber 12.

[0101] In addition, it is because, by setting the height to such a degree, the volume of the first air chamber is relatively large, and when the user is seated, air can easily flow from the first air chamber to the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16, which will be described later, and the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 can easily stand up.

[0102] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the height of the first air chamber 12, when it is filled with air, to a value in the range of 10 to 55 mm, and even more preferably to a value in the range of 15 to 50 mm.

[0103] (2) The second and third air chambers

[0104] like Figure 2 As shown, the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 serve as lateral supports and have the following structure: [the structure is described in the original text, but the translation is incomplete and requires further context.] Figure 2 The air filling (a) flows in and stands up at an angle along the vertical direction.

[0105] Moreover, the parts that support the pelvis from the left and right by wrapping around the waist are respectively arranged on the left and right sides of the first air chamber 12 via the first inner welded part 22 described later when viewed from above.

[0106] Specifically, it has the following structure: it is connected to the first air chamber 12 via the passage 30 described later, and is erected by the inflow of air from the first air chamber 12.

[0107] The following is for reference Figure 2Sections (a) to (c) provide a detailed description of the structure of each air chamber.

[0108] First, an air cushion 10 is placed on the seat 40 of the chair. At this time, the lowest surface of the first inner welded part 22 is not in contact with the seat 40 of the chair, and is located at a height H2 from the seat 40 of the chair (refer to...). Figure 2 The position of (b)).

[0109] Next, by sitting on the air cushion 10, the first air chamber 12 receives pressure P1 from above.

[0110] Then, the air in the first air chamber 12 flows into the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 along the path indicated by arrow X1, thereby causing the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 to expand.

[0111] Furthermore, the lowest surface of the first inner welded portion 22 moves from height H2 toward the seat surface 40 of the chair, while extending along the plane from the reference line D1 in the Y1 direction to the position 22x of the first inner welded portion.

[0112] As a result, the outer weld portion 20 is pushed in the Y2 direction, starting from the end 38 on the side of the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 in the first inner weld portion 22.

[0113] That is, the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 are erected to a height H3 (refer to...). Figure 2 (c)).

[0114] Therefore, the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 stand up easily with the crease formed along the groove formed along the first inner weld portion 22.

[0115] Furthermore, the height H3 of the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 when they are upright can be defined, with the installation plane as a reference, as the height of the uppermost part of the bag-shaped structure constituting the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 in the vertical direction when filled with air (refer to...). Figure 2 (c)).

[0116] In addition, the height H3 of the second and third air chambers when they are standing is not particularly limited as long as it can support the waist area, but it is usually preferred to set it to a value in the range of 50 to 250 mm.

[0117] The reason for this is that by setting it to this height, the pressure around the waist can be stably applied, which can further improve the support of the pelvis.

[0118] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the height of the second and third air chambers in the upright state to a value in the range of 60 to 200 mm, and even more preferably to a value in the range of 80 to 150 mm.

[0119] (3) Fourth air chamber

[0120] Alternatively, it is also preferable that, in addition to the first air chamber, the second air chamber, and the third air chamber, there is a fourth air chamber.

[0121] Specifically, such as Figure 3 As shown in (a) to (b), the fourth air chamber 18 is preferably a rear support portion that is erected and presses against the waist by air flowing in along arrow X2 through the passage portion 30, thereby supporting the pelvis from the rear, and in a top view, is a structure disposed behind the first air chamber 12 via the second inner welding portion 24 described later.

[0122] The reason for this is that, as a support, the addition of this rear support can, together with the second and third air chambers, more stably press around the waist, thereby further improving the pelvic support.

[0123] Furthermore, as a structure for the fourth air chamber 18 to stand up, a structure can be considered in which the movement of the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 and the first inner weld portion 22 when the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16 are standing up is replaced by the movement of the fourth air chamber 18 and the second inner weld portion 24.

[0124] Specifically, by taking a seat, the air in the first air chamber 12 flows into the fourth air chamber 18, thereby causing the fourth air chamber 18 to expand.

[0125] Furthermore, the second inner weld portion 24 is pressed downwards, and the outer weld portion of the fourth air chamber 18 is pushed upwards, causing the fourth air chamber 18 to stand up.

[0126] In addition, the height of the fourth air chamber when it is standing is preferably the same as that of the second and third air chambers. However, considering the usage environment and the user's body shape, it is also preferable to set a different structure within a specified range.

[0127] In addition, the fourth air chamber is structured such that when pressure is applied to the second or third air chamber due to tilting the body to the left or right, it receives the inflow of air from that air chamber and squeezes air out into the other air chamber.

[0128] The reason for this is that, by designing the structure in this way, excellent pelvic support can be maintained even when the body is tilted to the left or right.

[0129] 4. Inner welded part

[0130] (1) Main structure

[0131] like Figure 1 As shown in (a) to (b), the main structure of the inner welding part is the following part: in order to separate the first air chamber 12, the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16, and to control the flow of air by means of the inner welding part as a guide, a part is welded by means of heating and pressurizing by a welding device to make the specified part of the bag flat or embossed.

[0132] Therefore, it is generally preferred to design the weld portion with the same structure as the outer weld portion 20, but considering the ease of formation and weld strength, it is also preferable to design it with a different shape.

[0133] (2) First inner welded part

[0134] like Figure 1 As shown in (a) to (b), the first inner welded portion 22 is a welded portion that separates the first air chamber 12, the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16, and is bent into a U-shape when viewed from above.

[0135] Specifically, it is preferable that the shape of the first inner weld portion 22 is linear.

[0136] The reason is that by setting it to this shape, air can be guided more stably.

[0137] Furthermore, the "U-shaped" shape in the inner weld portion of the present invention can be defined as follows: when viewed from above, the diameter of the circle of the inner weld portion is smaller than the diameter of the circle of the inner air cushion.

[0138] In addition, the end shape of the first inner welded part is not particularly limited as long as it is a shape that is not easy to detach from the weld, but it is usually preferred to be at least one of the following: circular, elliptical, quadrilateral (including square and rectangle), polygonal (e.g., 5 to 10 sides), arrow-shaped, T-shaped, trumpet-shaped, etc.

[0139] The reason for this is that when air is filled in, it can effectively prevent the wrinkles caused by the bag from concentrating and reducing support.

[0140] Moreover, such as Figure 1 As shown in (a) to (b), preferably, the end shape of the first inner weld portion 22 is set to a predetermined shape, and the equivalent circle diameter of the predetermined shape is set to... When the width of the first inner welded portion 22 is set to W1, the following relationship (1) is satisfied.

[0141]

[0142] The reason for this is that by setting the structure of the inner weld portion with a larger end size (equivalent circle diameter, etc.) in this way, the area of the end of the first inner weld portion 22 can be increased, thereby improving the fixation and sealing performance.

[0143] Furthermore, it is because, by setting the end shape of the first inner weld portion 22 to a predetermined shape and satisfying the above relationship (1), the flow of filling air during seating can be controlled to a desired shape.

[0144] Furthermore, it is preferable to use the length L1 of the first inner weld portion (refer to...) Figure 1 (a) to (b) means that the distance between the ends is set to a value within the range of 100 to 700 mm.

[0145] The reason for this is that by setting the distance between the ends such that the volumes of the first air chamber, the second air chamber, and the third air chamber are well balanced, it is easier to more stably guide the air in the first air chamber to the second and third air chambers.

[0146] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the distance between the ends of the first inner weld portion to a value in the range of 200 to 600 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 300 to 500 mm.

[0147] Additionally, the width W1 of the first inner weld portion (refer to...) Figure 1 The width of (a) to (b) is not particularly limited as long as it can prevent leakage between the air chambers of the welded part during use and maintain the adhesive force that prevents the welded part from peeling off, but it is generally preferred to set it to a value in the range of 3 to 30 mm.

[0148] The reason for this is that by setting the width to this level, a more seamless and stable bond can be achieved, and leakage between the air chambers through the inner weld section can be further reduced.

[0149] Therefore, the width of the inner welded portion is more preferably set to a value in the range of 4 to 25 mm, and even more preferably set to a value in the range of 5 to 20 mm.

[0150] In addition, it is generally preferable to use the equivalent circle diameter of the end of the first inner weld portion. Set the value to be within the range of 5 to 35 mm.

[0151] The reason for this is that by setting such an equivalent circle diameter, it is possible to effectively prevent airflow turbulence when air is flowing, and to guide air more stably into the connected air chamber.

[0152] Therefore, it is more preferable to use the equivalent circle diameter of the end of the first inner weld portion. The value is set within the range of 6 to 30 mm, and is further preferably set within the range of 8 to 25 mm.

[0153] In addition, such as Figure 1 As shown in (b), preferably, one or more U-shaped first' inner weld portions 22' are provided in the first air chamber 12 at predetermined intervals, separate from the first inner weld portion 22.

[0154] The reason for this is that, regardless of the user's body shape and weight, the seating comfort of the first air chamber is further improved, and the flow of filling air during seating can be controlled with greater precision.

[0155] Furthermore, when the innermost welded portion of the first' is composed of multiple welded portions, it is preferable to set the number of welded portions in the innermost welded portion of the first' to be in the range of 2 to 10.

[0156] The reason for this is that by setting such a number, it is easy to stably guide the air in the first air chamber to the second and third air chambers, thereby improving the uprightness of the second and third air chambers and thus enabling them to support the pelvis more stably.

[0157] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the number of welded portions in the inner welded portion of the first' to a value in the range of 3 to 8, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 4 to 6.

[0158] Furthermore, when the innermost weld portion of the first' is composed of multiple weld portions, it is preferable to configure the weld portions of the innermost weld portion of the first' as a corrugated structure that extends from the front to the rear.

[0159] The reason for this is that the first air chamber can be divided into multiple corrugated sections, making it easier to suppress deviations in the amount of air squeezed out of the first air chamber when seated.

[0160] Furthermore, when the innermost weld portion of the first' is composed of multiple weld portions, it is preferable to set the interval between the weld portions in the innermost weld portion of the first' to a value in the range of 10 to 300 mm.

[0161] The reason for this is that by configuring the structure with such intervals, it is easier to suppress deviations in the amount of air squeezed out from the first air chamber when seated.

[0162] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the interval of the welded portions in the inner welded portion of the first' to a value in the range of 20 to 200 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 30 to 150 mm.

[0163] In addition, when the inner 1′ weld portion is composed of multiple weld portions, it is preferable to gradually narrow the interval between the weld portions in the inner 1′ weld portion from the rear.

[0164] The reason for this is that when the bag is filled with air, the first air chamber can tilt forward, which can further improve the support of the pelvis.

[0165] Therefore, it is preferable to narrow the interval of the welded portion in the inner welded portion of the 1′ from the rear by 3 to 50 mm each time, more preferably by 5 to 40 mm each time, and even more preferably by 8 to 30 mm each time.

[0166] (3) Second inner welded part

[0167] Furthermore, it is preferable that, in addition to the first inner weld portion, a second inner weld portion is also provided as the inner weld portion.

[0168] Specifically, such as Figure 1 (a)~(b) Figure 3 (a) to (b) and Figure 4 As shown in (a) to (b), the second inner weld portion 24 is preferably connected to the first inner weld portion 22 and has at least one shape selected from square, rectangle, inverted V and inverted U when viewed from above.

[0169] The reason for this is that by setting it to this shape, direct air movement between the second and third air chambers can be prevented.

[0170] In addition, when the second inner weld portion is a square weld portion, it is preferable to set the length of one side to a value in the range of 30 to 150 mm.

[0171] The reason for this is that by setting it to such a length, direct air movement between the second and third air chambers can be prevented more reliably.

[0172] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the length of one side of the square of the second inner weld portion to a value in the range of 35 to 120 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 40 to 100 mm.

[0173] In addition, when the second inner weld portion is a rectangular weld portion, it is preferable to set the length of the long side to a value in the range of 35 to 160 mm.

[0174] The reason for this is that by setting it to this length, the weldability is further improved.

[0175] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the length of the long side of the rectangle of the second inner weld portion to a value in the range of 40 to 130 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 45 to 110 mm.

[0176] In addition, when the second inner weld portion is a rectangular weld portion, it is preferable to set the length of the short side to a value in the range of 30 to 150 mm.

[0177] The reason for this is that by setting it to such a length, direct air movement between the second and third air chambers can be prevented more reliably.

[0178] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the length of the short side of the rectangle of the second inner weld portion to a value in the range of 35 to 120 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 40 to 100 mm.

[0179] Furthermore, when the second inner weld portion is an inverted V-shaped or inverted U-shaped weld portion, it is more preferable to set the shape of the second inner weld portion as a line (including a straight line or a curved line).

[0180] The reason is that by setting it to this shape, air can be guided more stably.

[0181] In addition, when the second inner weld portion is an inverted V-shaped or inverted U-shaped weld portion, it is preferable to set the length of the second inner weld portion, i.e. the distance between the ends, to a value in the range of 50 to 350 mm.

[0182] The reason for this is that by setting the distance between the ends in such a way, the volume balance of the first air chamber, the second air chamber, and the third air chamber becomes good, which enables the pelvic support brought about by the second air chamber and the third air chamber to be improved.

[0183] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the distance between the ends of the second inner weld portion to a value in the range of 60 to 300 mm, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 80 to 250 mm.

[0184] In addition, when the second inner weld portion is an inverted V-shaped or inverted U-shaped weld portion, the width of the second inner weld portion is not particularly limited as long as it can prevent leakage between the air chambers of the weld portion during use and maintain the adhesive force that prevents the welded parts from peeling off. However, it is generally preferred to set it to a value in the range of 3 to 50 mm.

[0185] The reason for this is that by setting the width to this level, a more seamless and stable bond can be achieved, and leakage between the air chambers through the inner weld section can be further reduced.

[0186] Therefore, the width of the inner welded portion is more preferably set to a value in the range of 5 to 40 mm, and even more preferably set to a value in the range of 8 to 30 mm.

[0187] In addition, when the second inner weld portion is an inverted V-shaped or inverted U-shaped weld portion, the shape of the end of the second inner weld portion is preferably the same as that of the first inner weld portion, but from the viewpoint of forming a wider through portion, etc., it is also preferable to set a different structure.

[0188] In addition, although not specifically illustrated, it is preferable to provide a bending portion between the first inner weld portion and the second inner weld portion.

[0189] Specifically, the preferred features include: a shrinkage portion provided as a bending portion in a bag-like structure; a dotted-line portion welded in a dotted-line pattern along the left and right directions; and a corrugated portion with a zigzag embossed pattern on the surface.

[0190] The reason for this is that by setting such a bend, the uprightness of the fourth air chamber is improved, which can further enhance the pelvic support.

[0191] (4) Third inner welded part

[0192] Alternatively, it is also preferable that, as an inner weld portion, in addition to the first inner weld portion and the second inner weld portion, there is another inner weld portion (hereinafter referred to as the third inner weld portion).

[0193] Specifically, such as Figure 4 As shown in (a), the third inner weld portion 34 preferably spans the second air chamber 14 and the third air chamber 16.

[0194] The reason for this is that by setting the third inner welded part in this way, when the second and third air chambers are erected, the third inner welded part functions as a bending part, thereby bending the second and third air chambers, improving the support for the waist, and also supporting the pelvis from the rear.

[0195] In addition, the third inner welded portion is preferably horizontal or curved.

[0196] The reason for this is that, through this shape, the bending of the second and third air chambers can further enhance the resistance to the waist.

[0197] (5) Variations

[0198] In addition, as a variation of the inner weld portion, although not shown in the figure, it is preferable to set it into the following shape: the first inner weld portion and the second inner weld portion are arranged at a predetermined interval, and the left end and the right end of each inner weld portion are connected by a straight line.

[0199] The reason for this is that by setting it to this shape, a straight weld section can be formed, and the second and third air chambers are more likely to stand up along the weld section.

[0200] In addition, as another example, although not illustrated, it is preferable to set the shape as follows: the first inner weld portion of the V-shape and the second inner weld portion of the inverted V-shape are arranged such that their vertices are joined together.

[0201] The reason for this is that by setting it to this shape, even a simple welding device can easily form an inner weld.

[0202] 5. Through the department

[0203] like Figure 1 As shown in (a) to (b), the passage 30, when viewed from above the bag-shaped object 11, is the break point of the welded part, that is, the part equivalent to the non-welded part, and is the part that serves as the flow path for air to pass through the specified air chambers.

[0204] Specifically, it is preferable to provide at least one non-welded portion between the end of the welded portion and the outer peripheral portion, and to provide a passage portion 30 composed of such a non-welded portion along the outer peripheral portion.

[0205] The reason for this is that by configuring the specified passage in this way, it is easier to prevent insufficient expansion near the outer periphery.

[0206] Furthermore, when viewing the mat from above, regarding the width of the passage portion, that is, when the passage portion is between the end of the welded portion and the outer periphery, it is generally preferable to set the distance between the two to a value in the range of 5 to 80 mm, more preferably to a value in the range of 10 to 60 mm, and even more preferably to a value in the range of 20 to 40 mm.

[0207] 6. Anti-slip part

[0208] like Figure 1 As shown, the anti-slip part 32 is preferably a bag-shaped part 11 provided on the seat part, that is, the surface of the bag-shaped part 11 corresponding to the first air chamber 12, when viewed from above.

[0209] The reason for this is that by designing the seat with anti-slip parts in this way, the anti-slip properties of the seat are improved, and the air filling moves more smoothly, thereby improving pelvic support.

[0210] In addition, the form of the anti-slip part 32 is not particularly limited as long as it can achieve the specified anti-slip properties, but it is generally preferred to be a dotted, linear, triangular, quadrilateral (including square and rectangle), honeycomb, or polygonal, or a regular or random pattern of different shapes.

[0211] More specifically, the preferred anti-slip portion 32′~32″′ is as follows: having the following characteristics Figure 5 The point, triangular or polygonal shape shown in (a) to (c) and having a concave and a convex part, or either of them, in three dimensions.

[0212] In addition, although not illustrated, the anti-slip part is preferably a recessed part that has a reverse dot shape, a reverse triangle shape, or a reverse polygon shape formed by reversing the concave and convex parts of the above-mentioned pattern.

[0213] The reason for this is that by designing the structure in this way, good anti-slip properties can be maintained for a long time.

[0214] In addition, the material of the anti-slip part is not particularly limited as long as it can perform the specified anti-slip properties, but it is usually preferred to be a rubber material composed of at least one of silicone rubber, polyurethane rubber, acrylic rubber, nitrile rubber, fluororubber or natural rubber.

[0215] The reason for this is that by using such a rubber material, not only is the anti-slip property of the seat improved, but its anti-fouling and cushioning properties are also enhanced.

[0216] Furthermore, this is because the following conditions exist: as long as it is such a rubber material, screen printing and roller printing are easy, and the sealing performance of bag-shaped objects is also excellent.

[0217] Furthermore, although not illustrated, it is preferable to have an anti-slip part on the back of the mat.

[0218] The reason for this is that by setting up anti-slip parts in this way, the friction between the mat and the matted surface is increased, making it less likely for the mat to slip off the matted surface.

[0219] In addition, the method and material of the anti-slip part provided on the back of the cushion are not particularly limited, but from the point of view of anti-slip performance, it is preferable to use the same method and material as the anti-slip part provided on the seat.

[0220] 7. Filling port

[0221] Although not specifically illustrated, it is preferable that the bag has at least one hole that allows air to be introduced from the outside of the bag as a filling port for filling air.

[0222] Specifically, it is preferable that the bag has an air-filling opening in at least one of the second and third air chambers.

[0223] Furthermore, when the bag-shaped object has a fourth air chamber, it is preferable that at least one of the second to fourth air chambers is provided with an air-filling port.

[0224] The reason for this is that by setting a filling port, air can be filled into the bag more quickly and easily, and interference between the user and the filling port can be effectively prevented when seated.

[0225] Alternatively, the filling port can be located below the second or third air chamber.

[0226] The reason for this is that, with this configuration, air can be filled into the first air chamber more quickly, and interference between the user and the filling port can be prevented more effectively when seated.

[0227] In addition, the diameter of the filling port is preferably determined by taking into account factors such as operability, and is usually preferably set to a value in the range of 3 to 30 mm.

[0228] The reason is that, in order to improve operability, commercially available inflation devices can be used, or air can be filled even by blowing directly from the mouth, thus making it easier and faster to fill the bag with air.

[0229] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the diameter of the filling port in the range of 4 to 20 mm, and even more preferable to set it in the range of 5 to 10 mm.

[0230] Alternatively, it is preferable to provide a connector at the filling port that connects to the air filling device described later.

[0231] Specifically, it is preferable to provide at least one of the following as a connector: a hose connector, a threaded connector, a fitting connector, or a one-touch connector.

[0232] The reason for this is that it can effectively prevent the backflow of filled air and can be easily installed and removed from the air filling device described later.

[0233] In addition, when there are multiple filling ports, it is preferable to set the number of filling ports to a value in the range of 2 to 4.

[0234] The reason for this is that by setting filling ports in each air chamber, air can be filled more quickly.

[0235] [Second Implementation]

[0236] like Figure 6 As illustrated, the second embodiment is a method for manufacturing an air cushion according to the first embodiment, characterized by comprising the following steps (A) to (D).

[0237] (A) A process of welding along the outer periphery of a pair of sheets to form a flat bag-shaped object with an outer welded portion.

[0238] (B) The process of forming a flat bag-shaped object as follows: welding a predetermined portion on the inner side of the flat bag-shaped object to form a first air chamber as a seating portion, a second air chamber as a side support portion disposed to the left of the first air chamber, and a third air chamber as an opposing side support portion disposed to the right of the first air chamber, and connecting the first air chamber, the second air chamber and the third air chamber through a passage portion so that the filling air can move between them.

[0239] (C) The process of providing at least one air-filling opening in a flat bag.

[0240] (D) The process of introducing filling air through a filling port provided in a flat bag to form an air cushion.

[0241] Hereinafter, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings, specific embodiments of the method for manufacturing the air cushion of the present invention will be described.

[0242] In addition, descriptions that overlap with those in the first embodiment are omitted as appropriate.

[0243] 1. Previous process

[0244] First, as a preliminary step, a pair of sheet-like materials are prepared for forming the specified bag-like object (see reference). Figure 6 Step S1).

[0245] Furthermore, the contents of the bag are preferably substantially the same as those already described in the first embodiment, so a further description here is omitted.

[0246] 2. Process (A)

[0247] Process (A) is the following process: welding a portion of a pair of sheets along their outer periphery using a specified welding device to form an outer welded portion (see reference). Figure 6 Step S2).

[0248] Specifically, it is preferable that the welding device uses at least one of the following: soldering iron type welding device, hot plate type welding device, hot air type welding device, high frequency welding device, ultrasonic welding device and laser welding device, and performs welding by heating, pressurizing, etc., so that the welding surface becomes flat or embossed.

[0249] The reason is that it can prevent uneven welding and easily form a welded part of a specified shape.

[0250] Alternatively, it is preferable to form the outer weld portion by means of a method that uses a large welding device to weld it in one go, or by means of a method that uses a small welding device to partially overlap smaller weld portions.

[0251] In addition, the welding temperature varies depending on the type of welding equipment used and the welding time, but it is usually preferred to be a value in the range of 80 to 500°C.

[0252] The reason is that it can prevent deformation and poor appearance of bag-like objects, and makes it easier to perform a stable weld.

[0253] Therefore, the welding temperature is more preferably a value in the range of 100 to 400°C, and even more preferably a value in the range of 150 to 300°C.

[0254] 3. Process (B)

[0255] Process (B) is the following process: forming at least the first to third air chambers by forming the inner weld portion (see reference). Figure 6 Step S3).

[0256] Specifically, a first inner weld portion is formed, a first air chamber is formed in front of the first inner weld portion, and a second air chamber and a third air chamber are formed respectively.

[0257] 4. Process (C)

[0258] Step (C) is the following step: providing at least one air-filling port in the flat bag (see reference). Figure 6 Step S4).

[0259] Specifically, it is preferable to form a predetermined hole as a filling opening in at least one of the second and third air chambers by means of a hole-making tool, a hole-making tool, a hole tap, a drill bit, a laser, etc.

[0260] The reason for this is that, by using such a tool, even a simple tool, it is possible to form holes relatively efficiently.

[0261] 5. Process (D)

[0262] Process (D) is the following process: air is filled into the bag-shaped object through the filling port using a specified air filling device to form a flat air cushion (see reference). Figure 6 Step S5).

[0263] Specifically, the air filling device can be any device capable of filling the interior of the bag-shaped object with air, but it is generally preferred to use at least one of the following: diaphragm pump, bellows pump, electromagnetic pump, piston pump, etc., to fill the interior of the bag-shaped object with air.

[0264] In addition, the exhaust air volume of the air pump varies depending on the pump used, but it is generally preferred to be in the range of 0.1 to 120 L / min.

[0265] The reason is that air can be quickly filled into the interior of the bag-like object, making it easier to form a flat air cushion.

[0266] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the exhaust air volume of the air pump to a value in the range of 0.5 to 50 L / min, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 1 to 30 L / min.

[0267] 6. Variations

[0268] In addition, when implementing the manufacturing method of the air cushion having the fourth air chamber, as a variation of the second embodiment, it is also preferable to use the following manufacturing method: after forming the first inner weld portion, a predetermined second inner weld portion is formed, thereby forming the fourth air chamber.

[0269] That is, it is also preferable to manufacture the air cushion through the following processes (A′) to (D′).

[0270] (1) Process (A′)

[0271] The outer weld portion is formed in the same way as in process (A).

[0272] (2) Process (B′)

[0273] Next, a first inner weld portion is formed, a first air chamber is formed in front of the first inner weld portion, a second inner weld portion is formed, and a fourth air chamber is formed behind the second inner weld portion.

[0274] Furthermore, by joining the first inner weld and the second inner weld, the first inner weld and the second inner weld are welded together, thereby forming a second air chamber and a third air chamber on the left and right sides of the first air chamber, respectively.

[0275] (3) Process (C′)

[0276] Next, the air filling port is set up in the same way as in process (C).

[0277] (4) Process (D′)

[0278] Next, similar to step (D), air is filled into the bag through the filling port to form a flat air cushion.

[0279] [Third Implementation]

[0280] like Figure 7 As illustrated, the third embodiment is a method of using the air cushion of the first embodiment, characterized by having the following steps (i) to (iii).

[0281] (i) The process of taking a seat in the first air chamber.

[0282] (ii) The process of causing the filling air in the first air chamber to flow into the second and third air chambers, causing the second and third air chambers to expand and stand up.

[0283] (iii) The process of bringing the erected second and third air chambers against the buttocks and waist to support the pelvis.

[0284] Hereinafter, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings, specific embodiments of the method of using the air cushion of the present invention will be described.

[0285] In addition, descriptions that overlap with those in the first and second embodiments are omitted as appropriate.

[0286] 1. Previous process

[0287] First, as a preliminary step, it is preferable to arrange the specified air cushion along the plane in the seating position (see reference). Figure 7 Step S1′).

[0288] Furthermore, the contents and usage of the air cushion are preferably the same as those already described in the first and second embodiments, so further explanation here is omitted.

[0289] 2. Process (i)

[0290] Process (i) is the process of the user sitting on the designated air mattress (see reference). Figure 7 Step S2′).

[0291] Specifically, it is a process in which the user sits with their waist facing backward and their buttocks placed in the first air chamber.

[0292] Furthermore, process (i) and process (ii) described later can also be substantially simultaneous.

[0293] At this time, it is preferable to sit with the center position of the waist in the left-right direction aligned with the center position of the first air chamber in the left-right direction, but for example, it is also possible to offset it slightly to the left and right by about 50mm.

[0294] The reason for this is that even when sitting with a slight left-right offset, the deformation of the second and third air chambers can effectively prevent a decrease in pelvic support.

[0295] 3. Process (ii)

[0296] Process (ii) is the process of erecting the second and third air chambers (see reference). Figure 7 Step S3′).

[0297] Specifically, the process involves the following steps: air from the first air chamber flows into the second and third air chambers, causing each air chamber to expand, so that the height of the second and third air chambers is higher than the thickness of the first air chamber by a specified amount.

[0298] In addition, if the height of the air chamber is too high when it is in the specified upright position, it can be adjusted by expelling the air already filled into the bag or by sitting further forward to reduce the amount of air squeezed out from the first air chamber.

[0299] Furthermore, if the height of the air chamber is too low when it is in the specified upright position, it can be adjusted by further filling it with air or by sitting further back to increase the amount of air squeezed out from the first air chamber.

[0300] In addition, the preferred time for the air chamber to stand up is from the moment of sitting down without any time delay, but in order to make height adjustments while standing up, it is also preferred to stand up within a range of 1 to 10 seconds from the moment of sitting down.

[0301] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the time for the air chamber to stand up to a value in the range of 2 to 8 seconds, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of 3 to 5 seconds.

[0302] 4. Process (iii)

[0303] Process (iii) is the process of supporting the pelvis (see reference). Figure 7 Step S4′).

[0304] Specifically, the procedure involves pressing around the waist through the erected second and third air chambers to support the pelvis at a specified angle.

[0305] Moreover, such as Figure 8 As shown in (a) to (c), the state of the imaginary straight line passing through the pelvis and its upper and lower vertices along the vertical direction being tilted forward relative to the vertical direction is set as positive, and the state of being tilted backward is set as negative. The tilt angle θ of the supported pelvis is preferably set to a value in the range of -30 to 30°.

[0306] The reason is that by supporting the spine at such an angle, the burden on the lumbar and thoracic vertebrae can be reduced more effectively.

[0307] Therefore, it is more preferable to set the tilt angle θ of the supported pelvis to a value in the range of -20 to 20°, and even more preferable to set it to a value in the range of -10 to 10°.

[0308] 5. Variations

[0309] In addition, when implementing the method of using the air cushion with the fourth air chamber, as a variation of the third embodiment, it is also preferable to use the following method: inflate the fourth air chamber and press around the waist through the erected fourth air chamber, thereby supporting the pelvis at a predetermined tilt angle.

[0310] That is, it is also preferable to use the air cushion through the following processes (i′) to (iii′).

[0311] (1) Process (i′)

[0312] Similar to process (i), there is the process of the user taking their seat.

[0313] Furthermore, process (i′) and process (ii′) described later can also be substantially simultaneous.

[0314] (2) Process (ii′)

[0315] Process (ii′) is the process of erecting the 2nd to 4th air chambers.

[0316] Specifically, the process involves the following steps: air from the first air chamber flows into the second and third air chambers, causing each air chamber to expand, so that the height of the second and third air chambers is higher than the thickness of the first air chamber by a specified amount.

[0317] Furthermore, the process is as follows: the air that has flowed into the first air chamber is forced out of the air in the second and third air chambers, causing the air to flow into the fourth air chamber and expand the fourth air chamber, thereby making the height of the fourth air chamber higher than the thickness of the first air chamber by a specified height.

[0318] (3) Process (iii′)

[0319] Process (iii′) is the process of supporting the pelvis.

[0320] Specifically, the procedure is as follows: by pressing around the waist through the erected second to fourth air chambers, the pelvis is supported at a specified angle.

[0321] Example

[0322] The present invention will be further described in detail below using examples.

[0323] However, unless otherwise specified, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below.

[0324] [Example 1]

[0325] 1. Air cushion manufacturing

[0326] Manufacturing using the methods described above Figure 4 The air cushion shown in (b).

[0327] Specifically, as the constituent material of the flat bag-like object, a pair of inverted pot-shaped sheets with a maximum diameter of 600 mm are prepared.

[0328] Next, a pair of inverted pot-shaped sheets are fused together along the outer perimeter to form a flat bag-like object.

[0329] Furthermore, a first air chamber, a second air chamber, a third air chamber, and a fourth air chamber are formed in the obtained flat bag-shaped material by forming a U-shaped first inner weld portion, three U-shaped first' inner weld portions, and an inverted U-shaped second inner weld portion.

[0330] At this time, the distance between the ends of the first inner welded portion is 350mm, and the distance between the first inner welded portion and the first' inner welded portion adjacent to the first inner welded portion, as well as the distance between the three first' inner welded portions from the rear, are 125mm, 80mm and 73mm respectively.

[0331] Finally, an air-filling port is provided in the flat bag-shaped object, and air is filled through the provided port to form... Figure 4 The air cushion shown in (b).

[0332] At this time, the thickness (H1) of the bag-shaped part of the air cushion filled with air is 50 mm, and the thickness (H4) of the first air chamber 12 is 40 mm.

[0378] Industrial availability

[0379] As described above, the air cushion, the method of manufacturing the air cushion, and the method of using the air cushion according to the present invention provide multiple air chambers through a predetermined inner welded portion, thereby providing excellent pelvic support regardless of how the user's body is tilted to the left or right.

[0380] That is, as an air cushion, it can stably circulate air when seated, and can further enhance the uprightness of the air chambers around the waist.

[0381] Furthermore, the second and third air chambers deform appropriately to prevent the body from being fixed, and maintain excellent pelvic support even when the body is tilted to the left or right.

[0382] Therefore, the present invention is expected to be used as an air cushion to prevent back pain, herniated discs, etc. by supporting the pelvis in a state that does not easily put a burden on the lumbar and thoracic vertebrae when seated.

[0383] Furthermore, the air chamber exhibits excellent uprightness, thus it is expected to be used as a car seat, legless chair, or similar device with the air cushion of this invention as the seat surface.

[0384] Furthermore, its excellent internal sealing and fluid flow properties make it a promising candidate to replace air with liquid filling, thus becoming a water cushion with excellent pelvic support.

[0385] Therefore, it is expected that this invention will not only be used as a mattress pad, but also widely used as a vehicle seat, chair, legless chair, bed, pillow, etc.
