The application discloses a kind of karez reinforcement protection methods using egg-shaped culvert, comprising the following steps: S1: the silt of karez culvert reinforcement section is cleaned;S2: support mechanism is used to support egg-shaped culvert, then egg-shaped culvert is used to reinforce culvert, and egg-shaped culvert is inscribed by half-elliptical section and half-round section;S3: the gap between culvert wall and original karez wall is filled with sand or sand gravel consistent with the surrounding stratum, and a layer of geomembrane is wrapped outside the joint;S4: according to the different forms of road and facility occupying karez shaft, the targeted reinforcement method is used for the required reinforcement of the shaft.The device can maximize the adhesion with karez culvert by setting the egg-shaped culvert, which can maximize the reduction of damage to the cultural relics and the original architectural style, the egg-shaped culvert has good compression resistance, is convenient for inspection and dredging, reduces water leakage loss, and effectively reduces construction cost.
