Waterway amphibious excavator chassis and method of use

Abstract

The application discloses a waterway amphibious excavator chassis and a use method thereof, which comprises a ship-shaped floating box walking assembly, a floating ball assembly and a active roll damping device arranged around a rotary platform. The ship-shaped floating box is unfolded or folded around through a first hydraulic telescopic assembly, so that the purpose of adjusting the center of gravity of the excavator to be always lower than the floating center is achieved, and the rollover and overturn of the excavator are prevented. A PLC control assembly adjusts the states of the first hydraulic telescopic assembly, a second hydraulic telescopic assembly and the active roll damping device in real time according to the data provided by an angular velocity gyroscope sensor, so that the floating ball assembly provides corresponding buoyancy according to the magnitude of the acting force generated by the excavated soil during operation, and the excavator is always in a balanced state and does not produce front and rear pitching and violent shaking. The active roll damping devices located on the left and right sides of the chassis can actively reduce the shaking of the excavator in water, and can also provide power in water to overcome the influence of water flow on the excavating operation of the excavator.
