Abstract

The invention discloses a video histogram equalization processing circuit and a chip. A core processing circuit in the video histogram equalization processing circuit comprises a frame synchronization unit, a pixel calculation unit, a pixel component counting unit, an accumulation unit, a ratio calculation unit and a mapping unit. The frame synchronization unit outputs a frame synchronization signal according to a synchronization signal and a clock signal, the pixel calculation unit calculates the total number of pixels of the frame according to a data enable signal and the frame synchronization signal, the pixel component counting unit counts the current pixel value, and the accumulation unit accumulates according to the data output by the pixel component counting unit. The ratio calculation unit calculates the ratio of the data output by the accumulation unit to the data output by the pixel calculation unit, and the mapping unit maps the input pixel value into a preset value according to the previous frame of data output by the ratio calculation unit. The video histogram equalization processing circuit disclosed by the invention can be integrated into a netlist to be burnt into a chip, so that dynamic video stream processing is realized, and the video histogram equalization processing circuit has the advantages of high processing speed and high efficiency.
