Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present application relates to the field of wireless communication technology, and in particular to a communication method, a communication device and a communication system. Background Art
[0002] In a wireless communication system, user equipment (UE) and UE can communicate directly with each other. The interface between UE and UE is called PC5 interface. The communication link between UE and UE is called sidelink (SL). Data can be directly transmitted between UE and UE via sidelink. Based on the PC5 interface communication technology between UE and UE, UE-to-Network Relay (U2N Relay) technology, also called Relay technology, has been further developed. It is a method in which a relay UE (Relay UE) provides relay communication for a remote UE (RemoteUE), that is, the remote UE accesses the network through the relay UE.
[0003] Currently, communication between UE and UE is supported through multiple sidelink carriers. However, in the relay scenario, when multiple carriers are applied, how to configure the remoteUE and relayUE so that the relayUE can correctly relay and forward to achieve communication between the remoteUE and the network device is a problem that needs to be solved. Summary of the invention

[0156] Before introducing the embodiments of the present application, some terms involved in the embodiments of the present application are explained. It should be noted that the following explanations are intended to make the embodiments of the present application easier to understand and should not be regarded as limiting the scope of protection required by the embodiments of the present application.
[0157] Some of the nouns (or communication terms) involved in this application are explained below. It is understandable that when the following nouns (or communication terms) are involved elsewhere in this application, they will not be explained later.
[0158] 1. Sidelink (SL)
[0159] SL is defined for direct communication between terminal devices, that is, a link between terminal devices that communicate directly without forwarding through a base station.
[0160] The interface between the terminal equipment (User Equipment, UE) and the terminal equipment is called the PC5 interface, and the PC5 interface is similar to the Uu interface between the terminal equipment and the network equipment. Figure 1 A schematic diagram of a scenario of direct communication between UEs, such as Figure 1As shown, UE1 and UE2 perform sidelink communication via the PC5 interface. Sidelink communication can be applied to various scenarios such as device to device (D2D), machine to machine (M2M) or vehicle to everything (V2X). It can be understood that the control plane protocol stack involved in the communication between terminal devices can be referred to Figure 2 .like Figure 2 As shown, on the control plane, there can be a peer radio resource control (RRC) layer, packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer, radio link control (RLC) layer, media access control (MAC) layer, physical (PHY) layer, etc. between UE3 and UE4.
[0161] In addition, the communication types supported on the SL may include broadcast communication, multicast communication, and unicast communication. In the long term evolution (LTE) system, the SL supports broadcast communication. In the NewRadio system, the SL supports broadcast communication, multicast communication, and unicast communication.
[0162] Broadcast communication is similar to network equipment broadcasting system information, that is, the terminal device sends broadcast service data to the outside without encryption. Any other terminal device within the effective receiving range can receive the data of the broadcast service if it is interested in the broadcast service.
[0163] Multicast communication refers to the communication between all terminals in a communication group. Any terminal device in the group can send and receive data of the multicast service.
[0164] Unicast communication is similar to the data communication performed after the radio resource control (radioresourcecontrol, RRC) connection is established between the terminal device and the network device, and a unicast connection needs to be established between the two terminal devices in advance. After the unicast connection is established, the two terminal devices can communicate data based on the negotiated identifier, and the data can be encrypted or unencrypted. Compared with broadcasting, in unicast communication, the unicast communication can only be performed between two terminal devices that have established a unicast connection. It can be understood that unicast communication corresponds to a pair of source layer 2 identifiers (source Layer-2 identifier, source L2 ID) and destination layer 2 identifiers (Destination Layer-2 Identifier, destination L2 ID). For example, the sub-header of each SL MAC protocol data unit (protocol data unit, PDU) contains a source layer 2 identifier and a destination layer 2 identifier so that the data is transmitted to the correct receiving end. The embodiments of the present application mainly relate to the unicast communication process.
[0165] 2. Radio Bearer (RB)
[0166] RB is a general term for a series of protocol entities and configurations allocated by the base station to the terminal device. It is a service provided by Layer 2 for transmitting user data between terminal devices, including a series of resource configurations such as the PDCP layer entity. RB can be divided into data radio bearer (DRB) and signaling radio bearer (SRB). The former is used to carry data, and the latter is used to carry signaling messages. In the SL communication scenario, RB is called sidelink radio bearer (SLRB). SLRB can be divided into sidelink data radio bearer (SL DRB) and sidelink signaling radio bearer (SL SRB). It can be understood that the user plane protocol stack involved in the communication between the terminal device and the base station can be referred to. Figure 3 .like Figure 3As shown, on the user plane, there can be a peer-to-peer service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) layer, packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer, radio link control (RLC) layer, media access control (MAC) layer, physical (PHY) layer, etc. between the UE and the base station gNB.
[0167] 3. RLC Bearer
[0168] RLC bearer refers to the protocol entity and configuration below the RLC layer, which is the lower layer part of the radio bearer and includes a series of resources such as RLC layer entities and logical channels.
[0169] In the present application, RLC bearers can be divided into RLC bearers used when a terminal device communicates with a network device and RLC bearers used when a terminal device communicates with another terminal device. It is understandable that the RLC bearer used when a terminal device communicates with an access network device can be called a Uu RLC bearer, and the RLC bearer used when a terminal device communicates with another terminal device can be called a PC5 RLC bearer. In other words, the Uu RLC bearer is an RLC bearer on a Uu link (Uu link) or a Uu interface, and the PC5RLC bearer is an RLC bearer on an SL or PC5 interface. The Uu link is the link between a terminal device and a network device. It is understandable that Uu RLC bearer and PC5 RLC bearer are names, and the names are used in this application as description examples without limiting the names.
[0170] 4.UE-to-Network relay (U2N Relay)
[0171] U2N Relay is a technology that allows a terminal device to communicate with a network device through another terminal device. U2N Relay can also be called relay technology. Figure 4 As shown, Figure 4The figure is a schematic diagram of the communication scenario of U2N Relay. The network device and the relay UE communicate through the Uu interface, and the relay UE and the remote UE communicate through the PC5 interface. The Uu interface generally refers to the wireless communication interface between the wireless access network device and the terminal device. The remote UE can establish a connection and / or perform data transmission with the access network device through the relay UE. In the U2N Relay scenario, the relay UE provides relay services for the remote UE. As an example, the protocol stack of U2N Relay may include L3 relay (L3 relay) and L2 relay (L2 relay). In the L3 relay scenario, the relay UE forwards relay data at the IP layer. In the L2 relay, the data packets of the relay UE remote terminal device (Remote UE) are relayed and forwarded below the PDCP layer of the relay terminal device (Relay UE). Taking L2 U2N relay as an example, the protocol architecture of U2N Relay can be seen in Figure 5 , the relay terminal device only maintains the relay RLC bearer, including the RLC layer, MAC layer and PHY layer. That is to say, there is an end-to-end PDCP layer, SDAP layer and RRC layer (control plane protocol layer, Figure 5 ), but there is no end-to-end RLC layer, MAC layer and PHY layer.
[0172] In addition, the protocol architecture of U2N Relay adds an adaptation (sidelink relay adaptation protocol layer, SRAP) layer between the RLC layer and the PDCP layer. Among them, the adaptation layer can be divided into an adaptation layer used when the terminal device communicates with the network device and an adaptation layer used when the terminal device communicates with the terminal device. The main function of the adaptation layer is the multiplexing and demultiplexing of wireless bearers, that is, it supports the data on different end-to-end wireless bearers to be multiplexed into one RLC bearer or the data on one RLC bearer is split into different wireless bearers. For example, taking the downlink direction as an example, the adaptation layer of the network device can multiplex the data on at least one wireless bearer corresponding to each remote device in at least one remote terminal device to the same RLC bearer, that is, one RLC bearer on the Uu link can contain the data on at least one wireless bearer corresponding to each remote device in at least one remote terminal device. On the SL of each remote terminal device, the data on at least one wireless bearer of the remote terminal device can be mapped to the same PC5RLC bearer. Similar to the uplink direction, the adaptation layer of the remote terminal device can map the data on multiple wireless bearers of the remote terminal device to the same PC5 RLC bearer. The adaptation layer of the relay terminal device can multiplex the data from at least one radio bearer corresponding to each remote device in at least one remote terminal device to the RLC bearer of the same Uu link. Here, the PC5 RLC bearer is also called PC5 relay RLC channel, and the Uu RLC bearer is also called Uu relay RLC channel.
[0173] 5. Multi-path Relay
[0174] Figure 6A schematic diagram of the communication scenario of Multi-path Relay is shown. Among them, the remoteUE can communicate with the network device through the direct path and the indirect path at the same time. On the direct path, the remoteUE and the network device can communicate directly through the Uu interface. On the indirect path, the RemoteUE can communicate with the network device through the RelayUE, wherein the RelayUE can communicate with the network device through the Uu interface, and the RemoteUE and the RelayUE can communicate through the SL or through an ideal non-3GPP link, such as WiFi, Bluetooth, etc., which are not limited here. In the communication scenario of multi-path relay, since the same or different data can be transmitted simultaneously on the direct path and the indirect path, that is, data packet 1 and data packet 2 can be transmitted simultaneously, and data packet 1 and data packet 2 can be the same or different, therefore, the throughput and reliability of data transmission can be improved.
[0175] Figure 7 The schematic diagram of the protocol stack architecture when the remote UE and the relay UE communicate through SL is shown. Among them, on the remoteUE side, in addition to PDCP, there are two sets of protocol stacks. One set of protocol stacks is used to communicate with the network device through the Uu interface, including RLC, MAC and PHY; the other set of protocol stacks is used to communicate with the relay UE through the PC5 interface, including adaptation protocol, RLC, MAC and PHY. On the relay UE side, there are two sets of protocol stacks, which are used to communicate with the remote UE through the PC5 interface and to communicate with the base station through the Uu interface. Both sets of protocol stacks include adaptation protocol, RLC, MAC and PHY. On the network device side, there are two sets of protocol stacks in addition to PDCP. One set of protocol stacks is used to communicate with the remote UE through the Uu interface, including RLC, MAC and PHY; the other set of protocol stacks is used to communicate with the relay UE through the Uu interface, including adaptation protocol, RLC, MAC and PHY. Usually, the adaptation protocol used when the remote UE and the relay UE communicate through the PC5 interface can be SRAP.
[0176] Figure 8 The schematic diagram of the protocol stack architecture when the remote UE and the relay UE communicate via an ideal non-3GPP link is shown. Figure 7 The difference is that, on the remote UE side, the protocol stack for communicating with the relay UE via the ideal non-3GPP link includes an adaptation protocol and a PHY. On the relay UE side, the protocol stack for communicating with the remote UE via the ideal non-3GPP link includes an adaptation protocol and a PHY. Optionally, Figure 8The adaptation protocol may not be included, for example, the adaptation protocol between the remote UE and the relay UE, or the adaptation protocol between the relay UE and the base station, or the adaptation protocol between the remote UE and the relay UE and the adaptation protocol between the relay UE and the base station.
[0177] 6. Carrier aggregation
[0178] Carrier aggregation (CA) technology is an important collaborative technology on the radio access network (RAN). In order to improve the peak rate and meet the requirements of enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) scenarios, carrier aggregation breaks through the performance limitation of fixed bandwidth of a single cell by aggregating the bandwidth of multiple cells. This technology can aggregate multiple component carriers (CC) together for use by one UE, so that the bandwidth enjoyed by the UE is the sum of the bandwidths of multiple carriers, and its peak rate can also be improved almost proportionally. Fig. 9 The figure is a schematic diagram of a carrier aggregation scenario. Fig. 9 Three carriers are shown, that is, the UE can use three carriers at the same time, including one primary carrier (Primary Component Carrier, PCC) and two secondary carriers (Secondary Component Carrier, SCC). The cell corresponding to the primary carrier is called the primary cell (Primary Cell, PCell), and the cell corresponding to the secondary carrier is called the secondary cell (Secondary Cell, SCell).
[0179] Depending on whether the CCs involved in the aggregation belong to the same frequency band and are continuous in the frequency domain, CA can be divided into:
[0180] Intra-band continuous carrier aggregation: CCs belong to the same frequency band and are continuous in the frequency domain;
[0181] Intra-band non-contiguous carrier aggregation: CCs belong to the same frequency band but are not continuous in the frequency domain;
[0182] Inter-band carrier aggregation: CCs belong to different frequency bands.
[0183] 7.PDCP duplication
[0184] At the existing Uu interface, the base station can configure PDCP duplication for the UE's radio bearer to improve the reliability of data transmission through data duplication and transmission. Fig.10As shown in the figure, during the data transmission process, the radio bearer data configured with PDCP duplication will be duplicated at the PDCP layer and delivered to different RLC entities. Different RLC entities are associated with different logical channels. RLC entities include a primary RLC and one or more secondary RLCs. Depending on whether the logical channels are processed by the same MAC entity, PDCP duplication can be divided into two categories:
[0185] DC duplication: Logical channels associated with radio bearers are associated with the same MAC entity and are constrained to be associated with different carriers.
[0186] CAduplication: Logical channels associated with radio bearers are associated with different MAC entities, and different MAC entities are associated with different carriers and scheduled independently.
[0187] 8. MAC Protocol Data Unit (PDU)
[0188] A MAC PDU may consist of one or more MAC sub-PDUs. A MAC subPDU may consist of a MAC subheader and a MAC CE, or a MAC subPDU may consist of a MAC subheader and a MAC Service Data Unit (MAC SDU), or a MAC subPDU may consist of padding data alone.
[0189] The technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application can be applied to various communication systems.
[0190] Fig.11 FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing a possible, non-limiting system. Fig.11 As shown, the communication system 1000 includes a radio access network (RAN) 100 and a core network (CN) 200. The RAN 100 includes at least one RAN node (e.g. Fig.11 110a and 110b, collectively referred to as 110) and at least one terminal (such as Fig.11 RAN 100 may also include other RAN nodes, such as wireless relay equipment and / or wireless backhaul equipment ( Fig.11The terminal 120 is connected to the RAN node 110 in a wireless manner. The RAN node 110 is connected to the core network 200 in a wireless or wired manner. The core network device in the core network 200 and the RAN node 110 in the RAN 100 may be different physical devices, or may be the same physical device that integrates the core network logical function and the radio access network logical function.
[0191] RAN 100 may be a cellular system related to the third generation partnership project (3GPP), for example, a 4G, 5G mobile communication system, or a future evolution system (for example, a 6G mobile communication system). RAN 100 may also be an open access network (open RAN, O-RAN or ORAN), a cloud radio access network (cloud radio access network, CRAN), or a wireless fidelity (wireless fidelity, WiFi) system. RAN 100 may also be a communication system that integrates two or more of the above systems.
[0192] The RAN node 110, which may also be sometimes referred to as an access network device, a RAN entity or an access node, etc., constitutes a part of the communication system to help the terminal achieve wireless access. The multiple RAN nodes 110 in the communication system 1000 may be nodes of the same type or nodes of different types. In some scenarios, the roles of the RAN node 110 and the terminal 120 are relative, for example, Fig.11 The network element 120i may be a helicopter or a drone, which may be configured as a mobile base station. For the terminals 120j that access the RAN 100 through the network element 120i, the network element 120i is a base station; but for the base station 110a, the network element 120i is a terminal. The RAN node 110 and the terminal 120 are sometimes referred to as communication devices, for example Fig.11 The network elements 110a and 110b may be understood as communication devices having base station functions, and the network elements 120a-120j may be understood as communication devices having terminal functions.
[0193] In one possible scenario, a RAN node may be a base station, an evolved NodeB (eNodeB), an access point (AP), a transmission reception point (TRP), a next generation NodeB (gNB), a next generation base station in a sixth generation (6G) mobile communication system, a base station in a future mobile communication system, or an access node in a WiFi system. A RAN node may be a macro base station (e.g. Fig.11 110a in), micro base stations or indoor stations (such as Fig.11 110b in the example above), a relay node or a donor node, or a wireless controller in a CRAN scenario. Optionally, the RAN node may also be a server, a wearable device, a vehicle or an onboard device, etc. For example, the access network device in the vehicle to everything (V2X) technology may be a road side unit (RSU).
[0194] In another possible scenario, multiple RAN nodes collaborate to assist the terminal in achieving wireless access, and different RAN nodes respectively implement part of the functions of the base station. For example, the RAN node can be a centralized unit (CU), a distributed unit (DU), a CU-control plane (CP), a CU-user plane (UP), or a radio unit (RU). The CU and DU can be set separately, or can also be included in the same network element, such as a baseband unit (BBU). The RU can be included in a radio frequency device or a radio frequency unit, such as a remote radio unit (RRU), an active antenna unit (AAU) or a remote radio head (RRH).
[0195] In different systems, CU (or CU-CP and CU-UP), DU or RU may also have different names, but those skilled in the art can understand their meanings. For example, in the ORAN system, CU may also be called O-CU (open CU), DU may also be called O-DU, CU-CP may also be called O-CU-CP, CU-UP may also be called O-CU-UP, and RU may also be called O-RU. For the convenience of description, CU, CU-CP, CU-UP, DU and RU are described as examples in this application. Any unit of CU (or CU-CP, CU-UP), DU and RU in this application may be implemented by a software module, a hardware module, or a combination of a software module and a hardware module.
[0196] The embodiments of the present application may be applied to, but are not limited to, Figure 4 The U2Nrelay communication scenario shown in the figure is similar to Figure 6 The Multi-path Relay communication scenario shown in the figure is a relay scenario.
[0197] In the SL U2N relay scenario, the remote UE communicates with the network device through the relay of the relay UE. The relay UE is located within the cell coverage. The remote UE may be located within the cell coverage or may move outside the cell coverage. Through the relay forwarding of the relay UE, the remote UE and the network device exchange uplink and downlink data.
[0198] In a multi-path relay scenario, the remote UE communicates with the network device through direct links and indirect links. On indirect links, the remote UE communicates with the network device through relay UEs, for example, the remote UE communicates with the network device through a single-hop relay or a multi-hop relay UE. In addition, the direct links and indirect links of the remote UE can be connected to different network devices, and multiple indirect links can be established between the remote UE and the base station through multiple relay UEs. Figure 6 The communication scenario shown is a possible example and should not be construed as limiting the embodiments of the present application.
[0199] The following describes the communication method involved in the embodiments of the present application. Fig.12 , is a method diagram of a communication method provided in an embodiment of the present application. It includes steps S1 to S2, wherein:
[0200] Step S1: A first terminal device receives first information sent by a network device.
[0201] Correspondingly, the network device sends the first information to the first terminal device.
[0202] Step S2: The second terminal device receives the second information sent by the network device.
[0203] Correspondingly, the network device sends the second information to the second terminal device.
[0204] As an example, the network device may send the first information to the first terminal device and the second information to the second terminal device via an RRC message. Alternatively, the CU generates an RRC message, the RRC message includes the first information or the second information, and the CU delivers the RRC message to the first terminal device or the second terminal device via the DU.
[0205] The embodiment of the present application does not limit the execution order of step S1 and step S2. That is, step S1 can be executed first and then step S2, or step S2 can be executed first and then step S1, or step S1 and step S2 can be executed at the same time, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
[0206] The first information or the second information includes multiple first bearers and multiple first carriers, the first bearer is a bearer between the first terminal device and the second terminal device, the first bearer is used to transmit data on the first wireless bearer, the first wireless bearer is an end-to-end wireless bearer between the second terminal device and the network device, and the first carrier is a carrier between the first terminal device and the second terminal device; wherein the first bearer corresponds to the first carrier, and the first terminal device provides a relay service for the second terminal device. The multiple first bearers can be at least 2 first bearers. The multiple first carriers can be at least 2 first carriers.
[0207] The first bearer is a bearer between a first terminal device (e.g., a relay terminal device) and a second terminal device (e.g., a remote terminal device). For example, the first bearer may include a PC5relayRLC bearer between the first terminal device and the second terminal device. The first bearer is used to transmit data on the first wireless bearer. The first wireless bearer is an end-to-end wireless bearer between the second terminal device and a network device (e.g., a base station), including a data radio bearer (DRB) or a signaling radio bearer (SRB). The first terminal device provides a relay service for the second terminal device, so that relay communication can be achieved between the second terminal device and the network device through the first terminal device.
[0208] It is understandable that the first bearer can be used to transmit data on the first wireless bearer, or data on the first wireless bearer can be transmitted on the first bearer, which may depend on whether there is corresponding business data on the first bearer. It is understandable that the first information and the second information may include identifiers of multiple first bearers and multiple first carriers, so that the corresponding first bearer and first carrier can be indicated by the identifier. For example, when the first bearer includes a PC5 relayRLC bearer, the identifier of the PC5 relayRLC bearer may be included. The first information and the second information may include the correspondence between the first wireless bearer identifier and the first bearer identifier, so that it can be known that the first bearer is used to transmit data on the first wireless bearer.
[0209] The first carrier is a carrier between the first terminal device and the second terminal device. For example, the first carrier may be a sidelink carrier between the first terminal device and the second terminal device.
[0210] Among them, the first bearer corresponds to the first carrier. The correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier can also be called an association relationship or a mapping relationship, etc. In the embodiment of the present application, a first bearer may correspond to a first carrier one-to-one. For example, the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first carrier B1; the first bearer A2 corresponds to the first carrier B2; the first bearer A3 corresponds to the first carrier B3. It is also possible that multiple first bearers correspond to one first carrier. For example, the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first carrier B1; the first bearer A2 corresponds to the first carrier B1; the first bearer A3 corresponds to the first carrier B3. The embodiment of the present application does not limit this.
[0211] In a possible implementation, in the second information, the first bearer may also include a bearer between the second terminal device and the network device, such as an RLC bearer, and the second information includes a logical channel identifier of the RLC bearer, and the logical channel identifier is used to identify the uuRLC entity on the direct link between the second terminal device and the network device. For example, the network device configures three RLC entities for the second terminal device, including one uuRLC entity on a direct link and two PC5 RLC entities. The first information sent by the network device to the second terminal device includes one uu logical channel identifier and two PC5 relayRLC bearer identifiers. At this time, the multiple first carriers may include a carrier between the first terminal device and the second terminal device and a carrier between the second terminal device and the network device, such as a Uu carrier and a sidelink carrier.
[0212] The manner in which the first terminal device obtains the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier based on the first information may include the following:
[0213] Method 1: The network device indicates the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier.
[0214] For example, the first information includes information used to indicate a correspondence relationship between the first bearer and the first carrier.
[0215] That is to say, the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device includes information for indicating the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier. After the first terminal device receives the first information sent by the network device, it can obtain the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier based on the information of the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier indicated in the first information. For example, if the information in the first information indicates that the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first carrier B1, the first terminal device can obtain the information of the correspondence between the first bearer A1 and the first carrier B1 based on the received first information.
[0216] Method 2: The first terminal device selects the first carrier and the first bearer correspondence based on the first bearer and the first carrier included in the first information.
[0217] For example, if the first bearers included in the first information include: first bearer A1, first bearer A2, and first bearer A3; and the first carriers included include: first carrier B1 and second carrier B2. Based on the first information, the first terminal device may select the first bearer A1 to correspond to the first carrier B1; select the first bearer A2 to correspond to the first carrier B2; and select the first bearer A3 to correspond to the first carrier B2.
[0218] In a possible implementation manner, the first information includes a first identifier, and the first carrier corresponds to the first identifier.
[0219] The first identifier is used to identify the connection between the first terminal device and the second terminal device. For example, the first identifier includes the layer 2 identifier of the first terminal device, or the first identifier includes the layer 2 identifier of the second terminal identifier, or the first identifier includes the layer 2 identifier of the first terminal device and an identifier pair formed by the layer 2 identifier of the second terminal device corresponding to the layer 2 identifier of the first terminal device.
[0220] In the case where the first information includes multiple first identifiers, the first information may include a correspondence between the first identifiers and the first bearer. Alternatively, the first information may include a correspondence between the first radio bearer and the first identifier.
[0221] In the embodiment of the present application, a first carrier may correspond to a first identifier one-to-one. For example, the first carrier B1 corresponds to the first identifier C1; the first carrier B2 corresponds to the first identifier C2; the first carrier B3 corresponds to the first identifier C3. It is also possible that multiple first carriers correspond to one first identifier. For example, the first carrier B1 corresponds to the first identifier C1; the first carrier B2 corresponds to the first identifier C1; the first carrier B3 corresponds to the first identifier C3. This embodiment of the present application is not limited to this.
[0222] Method three: If the first information includes a first identifier, the first terminal device selects a carrier or a carrier set (multiple carriers) corresponding to the first bearer from the carriers corresponding to the first identifier based on the first information.
[0223] For example, if the first bearers included in the first information include the first bearer A1, the first bearer A2, and the first bearer A3; the first carriers included include: the first carrier B1, the second carrier B2, and the first carrier B3; the first carriers corresponding to the first identifier C1 include: the first carrier B1 and the first carrier B2. Based on the first information, the first terminal device can select the first bearer A1 and the first bearer A2 to correspond to the first carrier B1; and select the first bearer A3 to correspond to the first carrier B2.
[0224] Method 4: If the first information includes multiple first identifiers, the first terminal device selects a first carrier corresponding to the first identifier, so that the first bearer corresponding to the first identifier corresponds to the first carrier.
[0225] For example, if the first bearers included in the first information include the first bearer A1, the first bearer A2 and the first bearer A3; the first carriers included include: the first carrier B1, the second carrier B2 and the first carrier B3; the first identifiers included include: the first identifier C1, the first identifier C2 and the first identifier C3; wherein, the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first identifier C2, the first bearer A2 corresponds to the first identifier C2, and the first bearer A3 corresponds to the first identifier C1. The first terminal device selects the first carrier B1 to correspond to the first identifier C1, selects the first carrier B2 to correspond to the first identifier C2, and selects the first carrier B3 to correspond to the first identifier C3. Then the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier can be obtained as follows: the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first carrier B2, the first bearer A2 corresponds to the first carrier B2, and the first bearer A3 corresponds to the first carrier B1.
[0226] Mode 5: If the first information includes multiple first identifiers, the network device indicates the corresponding relationship between the first identifier and the first carrier, and further indicates the corresponding relationship between the first bearer and the first carrier.
[0227] That is, the first information includes information for indicating the correspondence between the first carrier and the first identifier. The first bearer and the first identifier may be that multiple first bearers correspond to one first identifier, or multiple first bearers correspond to one first identifier.
[0228] For example, if the first bearers included in the first information include the first bearer A1, the first bearer A2 and the first bearer A3; the first carriers included include: the first carrier B1, the second carrier B2 and the first carrier B3; the first identifiers included include: the first identifier C1, the first identifier C2 and the first identifier C3; wherein the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first identifier C2, the first bearer A2 corresponds to the first identifier C2, the first bearer A3 corresponds to the first identifier C1, and the first information includes information indicating that the first carrier B1 corresponds to the first identifier C1, the first carrier B2 corresponds to the first identifier C2, and the first carrier B3 corresponds to the first identifier C3. Then the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier can be obtained as follows: the first bearer A1 corresponds to the first carrier B2, the first bearer A2 corresponds to the first carrier B2, and the first bearer A3 corresponds to the first carrier B1.
[0229] The manner in which the second terminal device obtains the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier based on the second information can refer to the manner in which the first terminal device obtains the correspondence between the first bearer and the first carrier based on the first information, which will not be repeated here.
[0230] In one possible implementation, the network device configures the first radio bearer of the second terminal device to be associated with different PC5 relay RLC bearers (or PC5 RLC entities), but only a single carrier is used for transmission on the sidelink. However, since the UE will packetize the data packets submitted in different PC5 relay RLC channels to generate underlying data, for example, the MAC entity / layer packets the data from different PC5 relay RLC channels to generate a MAC PDU. At this time, in order to ensure the improvement of data transmission reliability brought by redundancy, during the uplink transmission process, the data on the corresponding PC5 relay RLC bearer can be constrained not to be packetized in one data packet for transmission. For example, when the second terminal device performs MAC packetization / logical channel packetization, the data on the PC5 relay RLC bearer corresponding to the same second terminal device's radio bearer (for example, the first radio bearer) does not participate in the same MAC packetization, that is, the data generated by PDCP duplication is not grouped on one TB.
[0231] In another possible implementation, the network device configures the first radio bearer of the second terminal device to be associated (corresponding) to a different PC5 relay RLC bearer (or PC5 RLC entity), but only a single carrier is used for transmission on the sidelink. At this time, different PC5 relay RLC bearers will be associated (corresponding) to different sidelink resource pools, each sidelink resource pool corresponds to a series of sidelink time-frequency domain resources, and the sidelink resource pool is configured by the base station to the second terminal device. In order to avoid the improvement in data transmission reliability brought about by guarantee redundancy, during the uplink transmission process, the data on the PC5 relay RLC bearer corresponding to the radio bearer of the same second terminal device (for example, the first radio bearer) will be transmitted using different sidelink resource pool resources. The correspondence between the PC5 relay RLC bearer and the sidelink resource pool can be configured by the network device or determined by the terminal device (for example, the first terminal device or the second terminal device) itself.
[0232] In one possible implementation, the second terminal device can determine the logical channel configuration on the sidelink based on the received second information. In one possible implementation, the logical channel identifiers (LCIDs) corresponding to the first bearers corresponding to the same radio bearer (e.g., the first radio bearer) are associated with each other. For example, the LCIDs of the two first bearers corresponding to the first radio bearer (e.g., LCID1 and LCID2) satisfy: LCID1=n, LCID2=n+a. Among them, n is determined by the second terminal device, and a is defined by the protocol.
[0233] In a possible implementation manner, the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device may also include a second bearer and a corresponding relationship between the second bearer and the first bearer.
[0234] The second bearer is a bearer between the first terminal device and the network device (for example, a uuRelayRLC bearer), which is used to transmit data on the first wireless bearer.
[0235] In a possible implementation manner, the first bearer corresponds to the second bearer in a one-to-one manner.
[0236] Exemplarily, the first information or the second information includes a first radio bearer, and multiple groups of Uu relay RLC bearers and PC5 relay RLC bearers, wherein there is a one-to-one correspondence between the Uu relay RLC bearers and the PC5 relay RLC bearers.
[0237] In a possible implementation, the first information or the second information includes a correspondence between one or more groups of end-to-end wireless bearers between the second terminal device and the network device and multiple first bearers, that is, an end-to-end wireless bearer (such as a first wireless bearer) between a second terminal device and the network device corresponds to multiple first bearers.
[0238] In a possible implementation, if the first bearer corresponds to multiple first identifiers, the first information or the second information may also include the correspondence between the end-to-end wireless bearer between the second terminal device and the network device and the multiple groups of first identifiers and the first bearer.
[0239] In a possible implementation manner, the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device may also include information about the second carrier.
[0240] The second carrier is a carrier between the first terminal device and the network device (for example, a uu carrier).
[0241] If the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device includes a second carrier, the second bearer corresponds to the second carrier by default.
[0242] If the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device includes multiple second carriers, the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device may also include the correspondence between the second bearers and the second carriers. Alternatively, the first terminal device determines the correspondence between the second bearers and the second carriers based on the second carriers configured by the network device.
[0243] In one possible implementation, the first terminal device supports sidelink multi-carrier transmission but does not support multi-carrier transmission on Uu. In this case, the first terminal device can constrain that the logical channel data corresponding to the wireless bearer (for example, the first wireless bearer) of the same second terminal device does not participate in the same MAC packet grouping, thereby avoiding the transmission of duplicate data packets in one MAC PDU.
[0244] Through step S1 and step S2, the first bearer between the first terminal device and the second terminal device is matched with the first carrier, so that when the data on the first wireless bearer is transmitted, the data on the first wireless bearer can be sent through the first bearer corresponding to the first wireless bearer and the carrier corresponding to the first bearer. It can be understood that the data on the transmitted first wireless bearer can be data (data) or signaling (Signal).
[0245] In a possible implementation, after step S1 and step S2, one or more steps of steps S3-S5 may be further included:
[0246] Step S3: The first terminal device sends second data to the second terminal device via the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer.
[0247] The second data includes data on the first radio bearer and data on the copied first radio bearer. Before the first terminal device sends the second data to the second terminal device, the network device sends the data on the first radio bearer or the data on the first radio bearer copied by the network device to the first terminal device. For example, the network device may be a CU, and the CU sends the data on the first radio bearer or the data on the copied first radio bearer to the second terminal device via the DU. Correspondingly, the first terminal device receives the data on the first radio bearer or the data on the copied first radio bearer. That is to say, the second data includes the data on the first radio bearer or the data on the copied first radio bearer. Then execute step S3.
[0248] Step S4: The second terminal device sends second data to the first terminal device via the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer.
[0249] Step S5: The first terminal device sends the first data to the network device via the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer.
[0250] Alternatively, the first terminal device sends the first data to the DU via the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer, and the DU then forwards the data to the CU.
[0251] See also Fig.13 , is a schematic diagram of a relay communication scenario provided by an embodiment of the present application. Among them, the first terminal device and the second terminal device are transmitted via sidelink multi-carrier, and the first terminal device and the network device are transmitted via uu multi-carrier. At this time, the first terminal device mainly plays the role of relay forwarding by configuring the first terminal device through the first information.
[0252] exist Fig.13 In the application scenario shown (i.e. Fig.12 In scenario 1), any step from step S3 to step S5 may be implemented as follows:
[0253] Step S3: The first terminal device sends second data to the second terminal device via the first bearer and the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer.
[0254] Correspondingly, the second terminal device receives the second data sent by the first terminal device.
[0255] Before the first terminal device sends the second data to the second terminal device, the network device sends the data on the first radio bearer or the data on the first radio bearer copied by the network device to the first terminal device. Correspondingly, the first terminal device receives the data on the first radio bearer or the copied data on the first radio bearer. That is, the second data includes the data on the first radio bearer or the copied data on the first radio bearer. Then, step S3 is executed.
[0256] Exemplarily, the second data includes data on the first wireless bearer (for example, SRAPPDU) or data on the copied first wireless bearer. The data on the wireless bearer includes a wireless bearer identifier, which can be used to distinguish between the wireless bearers. The copied data on the first wireless bearer can be copied by the network device and sent to the first terminal device. Specifically, the PDCP entity of the network device may copy the SRAPPDU, and when submitting the copied SRAPPDU to the SRAP, indicate that the SRAPPDU is copied. Alternatively, the PDCP entity of the network device may instruct the SRAP entity to copy the SRAPPDU. Alternatively, the CU may instruct the DU to copy the SRAPPDU. This embodiment of the present application is not limited to this.
[0257] If the first radio bearer identifier carried in the SRAP PDU header is SRB0, and there is no first bearer corresponding to SRB0 in the first information, the SRAPPDU is delivered to SL-RLC0 for transmission. Among them, SL-RLC0 is the first bearer dedicated to SRB0. There can be one or more SL-RLC0, and the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device may include the correspondence between the second bearer and SL-RLC0, so that the first terminal device can deliver the SRB0 data received by the corresponding second bearer to the corresponding SL-RLC0 when forwarding downlink data. In one possible case, there is ID multiplexing between SRB and DRB. For example, the value range of SRBID is 0-3, and the value range of DRBID is 0-31. When the ID is 0-3, there may be ID multiplexing between SRB and DRB. At this time, the first terminal device determines whether the received data corresponds to SRB or DRB based on the second bearer, and SRB and DRB do not multiplex the second bearer.
[0258] In one possible implementation, the SRAP entity of the first terminal device determines that the SRAPPDU needs to be sent to the corresponding second terminal device based on the local identifier carried in the SRAPPDU. The local identifier is used to identify the second terminal device. Among them, the local identifier that identifies the second terminal device can be allocated by the network device where the first terminal device is located. The allocated local identifier can be unique under the base station, that is, the local identifiers corresponding to each second terminal identifier under the same base station are different. Alternatively, it can also be unique under the first terminal device, that is, the local identifiers corresponding to each second terminal device identifier under the same first terminal device are different, but the local identifiers of the second terminal devices under different first terminal devices of the same base station can be the same.
[0259] In a possible implementation manner, the first information includes multiple second bearers.
[0260] The second bearer is a bearer between the first terminal device and the network device, and is used to transmit data on the first wireless bearer. For example, the second bearer may be a second bearer between the first terminal device and the network device. The second bearer corresponds to the first bearer.
[0261] After the PDCP entity of the network device copies the second data, it instructs the SRAP entity to deliver the second data or the copied second data to one or more second bearers. After the first terminal device receives the second data or the copied second data through the second bearer, it delivers the second data or the copied second data to the first bearer corresponding to the second bearer, and sends the second data or the copied second data to the second terminal device through the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer. In addition, the PDCP entity of the network device may also instruct the SRAP entity to deliver the diverted second data to multiple second bearers after diverting the second data, and use one or more second carriers corresponding to the multiple second bearers to send it to the first terminal device.
[0262] In a possible implementation, the first information sent to the first terminal device includes multiple second carriers. The second carrier is a carrier between the first terminal device and the network device. For example, the second carrier may be a uu carrier between the first terminal device and the network device. The second bearer corresponds to the second carrier.
[0263] Accordingly, the first terminal device receives the second data sent by the network device and the second data copied by the network device through the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer. Accordingly, the first terminal device can also receive the split second data sent by the network device through the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer.
[0264] Step S4: The second terminal device sends second data to the first terminal device via the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer.
[0265] Correspondingly, the first terminal device receives the second data sent by the second terminal device.
[0266] Among them, the second data includes data on the first wireless bearer or data on the copied first wireless bearer. Whether the second terminal device needs to copy the data on the first wireless bearer can be determined by the PDCPDuplication indication. If duplication is required, the PDCP entity of the second terminal device obtains the data on the copied wireless bearer after duplication, and then submits the data on the first wireless bearer (SRAPPDU) and the copied data on the first wireless bearer (copied SRAPPDU) to the SRAP entity. Based on the corresponding relationship, the SRAP entity submits the second data to one or more first bearers, and uses one or more first carriers corresponding to one or more first bearers to send the second data or the copied second data to the second terminal device. In addition, the PDCP entity of the second terminal device can also instruct the SRAP entity to submit the diverted second data to multiple first bearers after diverting the second data, and use one or more first carriers corresponding to multiple first bearers to send it to the second terminal device.
[0267] Step S5: The first terminal device sends the first data to the network device via the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer.
[0268] Correspondingly, the network device receives the first data through the second bearer.
[0269] Among them, the first data (SRAPPDU) includes data on the first wireless bearer, and the second bearer corresponds to the first bearer receiving the first data. After the first terminal device receives the first data (SRAPPDU) from the first bearer, it delivers the first data to the second bearer corresponding to the first bearer according to the corresponding relationship, and applies the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer to send it to the network device. Accordingly, the network device receives the first data. The first data includes data on the first wireless bearer or data on the copied first wireless bearer.
[0270] If the SRAP PDU contains SRB0 (without SRAP header), the second bearer corresponding to SRB0 or the second bearer corresponding to SRB0 and SL-RLC0, the SRAP PDU is delivered to the corresponding second bearer. In one possible case, there is an ID multiplexing between SRB and DRB. At this time, the first terminal device determines whether the received data corresponds to SRB or DRB based on the PC5 relay RLC bearer, and SRB and DRB do not multiplex the first bearer.
[0271] As mentioned above, after step S1 and step S2, one or more steps of step S3-S5 may be included. If after step S1 and step S2, step S3 and step S4 are also included, the second data shown in step S4 and the second data shown in step S5 may not be the same data. If after step S1 and step S2, step S4 and step S5 are also included, and step S5 is performed after step S4 is executed, it can be understood that the first data may actually be the second data sent by the second terminal device to the first terminal device.
[0272] Among them, step S3 to step S5 are optional steps. Fig.12 Indicated by dashed lines.
[0273] By configuring multiple groups of first bearers and second bearers for the end-to-end wireless bearer (first wireless bearer) between the second terminal device and the network device, as well as the correspondence between the first bearer and the second bearer, the end-to-end wireless bearer between the second terminal device and the network device can be configured with multiple carriers on the sidelink for transmission, thereby improving the reliability and rate of data transmission.
[0274] See also Fig.14 , which is a schematic diagram of another relay communication scenario provided by an embodiment of the present application. Among them, the first terminal device and the second terminal device are transmitted via sidelink multi-carrier, and the first terminal device and the network device are transmitted via single carrier on the first interface. For example, the first interface is a Uu port. At this time, the first information sent by the first terminal device through the network device mainly plays the role of relay forwarding, deduplication (uplink transmission) or replication (downlink transmission) for the configuration of the first terminal device.
[0275] exist Fig.14 In the application scenario shown (i.e. Fig.12 In scenario 2), a possible implementation of each step in steps S3 to S5 is as follows:
[0276] Step S3: The first terminal device sends second data to the second terminal device via the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer.
[0277] Correspondingly, the second terminal device receives the second data sent by the first terminal device.
[0278] The second data includes data on the first wireless bearer or data on the copied first wireless bearer. The network device sends the second data (SRAPPDU) to the first terminal device through the second bearer corresponding to the second carrier. The first terminal device receives the second data from the second bearer. Furthermore, the first terminal device can determine to copy the data on the first wireless bearer based on the duplication indication. The data on the first wireless bearer or the data on the copied first wireless bearer is sent to the second terminal device through one or more first bearers, using one or more first carriers corresponding to one or more first bearers. Accordingly, the second terminal device receives the data on the first wireless bearer or the data on the copied first wireless bearer through one or more first bearers.
[0279] For example, the network device delivers the downlink SRAPPDU of the second terminal device to the corresponding second bearer. The first terminal device receives the SRAPPDU from the second bearer, and determines to duplicate the SRAPPDU based on the second bearer and the first wireless bearer identifier and the local identifier of the second terminal device included in the SRAPPDU. For example, if the SRAP PDU carries a duplication indication, or in the corresponding SRAP correspondence, the second bearer or the first wireless bearer or the local identifier is associated with multiple first bearers, the SRAPPDU is duplicated.
[0280] After receiving the SRAPPDU, the second terminal device can perform deduplication based on the corresponding sequence number in the SRAPPDU. For example, for multiple SRAPPDUs with the same sequence number, one of the SRAPPDUs is retained and the remaining SRAPPDUs are discarded. The sequence number is used to identify the sequence or order of the SRAPPDUs.
[0281] Step S4: The second terminal device sends second data to the first terminal device via the first carrier corresponding to the first bearer.
[0282] For an explanation of step S4, see Fig.13 The explanation of step S4 in the application scenario shown is not repeated here.
[0283] Step S5: The first terminal device sends the first data to the network device via the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer.
[0284] Correspondingly, the network device receives the first data through the second bearer.
[0285] Among them, the first data includes data on the first wireless bearer, and the second bearer corresponds to the first bearer receiving the first data. After the first terminal device receives the first data (SRAPPDU) from the first bearer, it determines whether the first data is duplicate data. That is, the received first data is deduplicated and sent to the second terminal device. Specifically, if the sequence number included in the data on the copied first wireless bearer is the same as the sequence number included in the data on the first wireless bearer before the copy, the first data can be judged as duplicate data or non-duplicate data according to the sequence number of the first data. For example, if it is known that the sequence number included in the data on a first wireless bearer received is sequence number 1, if the sequence number included in the data on another first wireless bearer received subsequently is also sequence number 1, it means that the duplicate data on the first wireless bearer is received. In the case where the first data is duplicate data, the first data is discarded. In the case where the first data is non-duplicate data, the first data is delivered to the second bearer corresponding to the first bearer, and the second carrier corresponding to the second bearer is applied to send it to the network device.
[0286] In one possible implementation, the SRAPPDUheader of the SRAPPDU sent by the network device carries a PDCP sequence number, or a sequence number assigned by the SRAP layer of the network device, for deduplication processing. In this method, since a new SRAPPDU format is introduced, it needs to be distinguished from the original SRAPPDU format. For example, a format indication is included in the SRAPPDUheader. In another possible implementation, the SRAP entity of the first terminal device can parse the SRAPPDU and read the sequence number carried by the PDCP layer for deduplication processing. Furthermore, the first information sent by the network device to the first terminal device may include the PDCP sequence number length used by the second terminal device.
[0287] Correspondingly, the network device receives first data, wherein the first data includes data on the first radio bearer or data on the copied first radio bearer.
[0288] Among them, step S3 to step S5 are optional steps. Fig.12 Indicated by dashed lines.
[0289] By configuring multiple first bearers and one second bearer for the end-to-end wireless bearer (first wireless bearer) between the second terminal device and the network device, when multi-carrier is not supported on uu, the end-to-end wireless bearer between the second terminal device and the network device can still be configured with multi-carrier for transmission on the sidelink, thereby improving the reliability and rate of data transmission.
[0290] After the second terminal device is configured with PDCP duplication, reliable transmission may be achieved without duplication due to better signal, or duplicated SRAPPDUs may need to be transmitted through more RLC entities due to worse signal. The following describes how to flexibly activate or deactivate PDCP duplication.
[0291] See also Fig.15 , which is a schematic diagram of another communication method provided in an embodiment of the present application, and is applied to Figure 4 as well as Figure 6 By implementing the embodiment of the present application, a flexible activation and deactivation solution of PDCP Duplication can be implemented in a relay communication scenario.
[0292] The process may include step S21: a second terminal device receives first indication information sent by a network device.
[0293] Correspondingly, the network device sends first indication information.
[0294] The first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity and / or the first link. The first entity and / or the first link corresponds to the first wireless bearer. The first wireless bearer is an end-to-end wireless bearer between the second terminal device and the network device. The first entity is an entity on the second terminal device for communicating with the first terminal device. The first link is a link between the second terminal device and the first terminal device. The first terminal device provides a relay service for the second terminal device.
[0295] The first indication information may be a MACCE message. The first terminal device may be a relay terminal device in a relay communication scenario, namely, a RelayUE. The second terminal device is a remote terminal device in a relay communication scenario, namely, a RemoteUE. The first terminal device provides a relay service for the second terminal device to realize relay communication between the second terminal device and the network device. The first entity is an entity on the RemoteUE used to communicate with the relayUE. For example, the first entity may be a PC5 RLC entity. For a remote UE configured with multiple PC5 RLC entities, at least one PC5 RLC entity must always be in an activated state, and the PC5 RLC entity is called the primary RLC entity, and the remaining PC5 RLC entities are secondary RLC entities. Since the PrimaryRLC entity is generally in an activated state, it can be understood that the RLC entity in the embodiment of the present application refers to a secondaryRLC entity, including a PC5 RLC entity and a UuRLC entity. For example, the first entity may refer to a PC5 RLC entity in a secondaryRLC entity. The first link is a link between the RemoteUE and the relayUE. For example, the first link may be an ideal non-3GPP link. It is known that the first link is a non-direct link. The first entity and / or the first link corresponding to the first radio bearer may mean that the first entity and / or the first link may be used to transmit data on the first radio bearer.
[0296] In a possible implementation, the method may further include step S22: the second terminal device receives the second indication information sent by the network device. Step S22 is an optional step. Fig.15 Dotted lines are used to indicate this.
[0297] Correspondingly, the network device sends second indication information.
[0298] The second indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the second entity, and the second entity is an entity on the second terminal device used to communicate with the network device.
[0299] The second indication information may be a MACCE message. The second entity is an entity on the RemoteUE used to communicate with the network device. For example, the second entity may be a UuRLC entity in the secondaryRLC entity. It is understandable that the link corresponding to the second entity is a direct link.
[0300] In a possible implementation, the first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity. If the number of the first entities is less than or equal to 3, the first indication information may be used as follows: Fig.16The fields shown indicate activation or deactivation of the corresponding first entity. Wherein, DRBID is the identifier of the first radio bearer corresponding to the first entity, RLC i Indicates whether the corresponding first entity is activated or deactivated, and the value of i is 0, 1 or 2. That is, RLC0-RLC2 corresponds to at most three first entities, which is used to indicate whether at most three first entities are activated or deactivated.
[0301] In a possible implementation, the first indication information indicates activation or deactivation of the first entity. Fig.16 The fields in the Fig.17 The fields shown are used to indicate the activation or deactivation of the corresponding first entity. Fig.17 The fields shown can be used to indicate RLC0-RLC 10 Correspondingly, at most 11 first entities are activated or deactivated. It can be understood that in the embodiment of the present application Fig.16 The indication indicates at most 3 first entities to be activated or deactivated, and, Fig.17 The indication of at most 11 first entities being activated or deactivated is only an example, and is used to indicate that different fields may be used or the fields may be expanded to indicate different numbers of first entities, and shall not be construed as limiting the embodiments of the present application.
[0302] Optionally, the order of indicating activation or deactivation of the first entity is determined by a preset order. Fig.16 RLC i The i in is used to indicate the order of the first entity in the configuration when the wireless bearer is configured. For example, RLC0 indicates that when the wireless bearer is configured, the first entity configured first is the first entity corresponding to RLC0. Then the first entity configured is the first entity corresponding to RLC1. Then the first entity configured is the first entity corresponding to RLC2. And so on.
[0303] In a possible implementation, the first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first link. If the number of the first links is less than or equal to 3, the first indication information may be used as follows: Fig.18 The fields shown indicate the activation or deactivation of the corresponding first link. Wherein, DRBID is the identifier of the first radio bearer corresponding to the first link, Path i Indicates whether the corresponding first link is activated or deactivated, and the value of i is 0, 1 or 2. That is, Path0-Path2 corresponds to at most three first links, which is used to indicate that at most three first links are activated or deactivated.
[0304] In a possible implementation, the first indication information includes a first value, and the first value is used to indicate activation of the first entity or the first link; and / or, the first indication information includes a second value, and the second value is used to indicate deactivation of the first entity or the first link.
[0305] It is understandable that the first indication information includes activation or deactivation indications of one or more first entities or first links, so the first indication information can indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity or first link at the corresponding position by the position where the first value or the second value of the field is located. That is, the first indication information can include the first value and / or the second value. For example, Fig.16 In the fields shown, if the values corresponding to RLC0-RLC2 are the first value, the second value, and the second value, respectively. It means that in the first indication information, the first entity corresponding to RLC0 is indicated to be activated, and the first entity corresponding to RLC1 and the first entity corresponding to RLC2 are indicated to be deactivated. In a possible implementation, the first value may be 1 bit 1 (or 0), and the second value may be 1 bit 0 (or 1). In a possible implementation, the first value and the second value may be Boolean values. For example, the first value may be TRUE (or FALSE), and the second value may be FALSE (or TRUE).
[0306] In a possible implementation, the first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity and the first link. If the total number of the first entities and the first links is less than or equal to 3, the corresponding first link and the first entity may be indicated to be activated or deactivated through Path0, Path1 and RLC0. Alternatively, the corresponding first link and the first entity may be indicated to be activated or deactivated through Path0, RLC0 and RLC1. Specifically, the first entity may be indicated first and then the first link may be indicated to be activated or deactivated, or the first link may be indicated first and then the first link may be indicated to be activated or deactivated, and the order of indicating whether to activate or deactivate may also be determined according to the number of the first link and the first entity. This embodiment of the present application is not limited to this.
[0307] In a possible implementation manner, if the total number of the first entities and the first links exceeds 3, the following method can be used: Fig.19 The fields shown indicate that the first entity and the first link are activated or deactivated.
[0308] In a possible implementation, if the first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity and the first link, the activation or deactivation of the first entity and the first link can be indicated respectively by two first indication information. For example, one of the first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity, and the other first indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first link.
[0309] In a possible implementation, the second indication information is used to indicate activation or deactivation of the second entity. If the number of the second entities is less than or equal to 3, then Fig.16 The fields shown indicate the activation or deactivation of the corresponding first entity. Wherein, DRBID is the identifier of the first radio bearer corresponding to the second entity, RLC i Indicates whether the corresponding second entity is activated or deactivated, and the value of i is 0, 1 or 2. That is, RLC0-RLC2 corresponds to at most three second entities, which is used to indicate whether at most three second entities are activated or deactivated.
[0310] In a possible implementation, the second indication information may be used to indicate activation or deactivation of more than three second entities. If the number of second entities is greater than three, refer to Fig.17 The fields shown are used to indicate activation or deactivation of the corresponding second entity.
[0311] In a possible implementation manner, the second indication information includes a third value, and the third value is used to indicate activation of the second entity; and / or the second indication information includes a fourth value, and the fourth value is used to indicate deactivation of the second entity.
[0312] It is understandable that the second indication information includes activation or deactivation indications of one or more second entities, so the second indication information can indicate activation or deactivation of the corresponding second entity at the corresponding position through the position of the third value or the fourth value in the field. That is, the second indication information can include the third value and / or the fourth value. For example, Fig.16 In the field shown, if the values corresponding to RLC0-RLC2 are the third value, the fourth value, and the third value, respectively. It means that in the second indication information, the second entity corresponding to RLC0 and the second entity corresponding to RLC2 are activated, and the second entity corresponding to RLC1 is deactivated. In a possible implementation, the third value may be 1 bit 1 (or 0), and the fourth value may be 1 bit 0 (or 1). In a possible implementation, the third value and the fourth value may be Boolean values. For example, the third value may be TRUE (or FALSE), and the fourth value may be FALSE (or TRUE).
[0313] In a possible implementation, the first indication information and the second indication information are located in the same information. Assuming that the information is the third information, the third information includes the first indication information and the second indication information. That is, the third information is used to indicate the activation or deactivation of the first entity and / or the first link and / or the second entity. If the sum of the number of the first entity and the first link and the second entity in the third information exceeds 3, then the third information can also be used as follows: Fig.19 The fields shown indicate that the first entity and / or the first link and / or the second entity are activated or deactivated.
[0314] In a possible implementation manner, the first indication information and the second indication information are arranged in a preset order.
[0315] For example, the first link and / or first entity corresponding to the first indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated first, and then the second entity corresponding to the second indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated. Alternatively, the second entity corresponding to the second indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated first, and then the first link and / or first entity corresponding to the first indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated. Alternatively, the first entity corresponding to the first indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated first, and then the second entity corresponding to the second indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated, and then the first link corresponding to the first indication information may be indicated to be activated or deactivated. This embodiment of the present application is not limited to this.
[0316] In a possible implementation, the second terminal device is connected to a plurality of network devices. The third information may also be used to indicate activation or deactivation of the first entity and the second entity under each network device. For example, the secondaryRLC entity of the primary network device may be indicated first, and then the secondaryRLC entity of each secondary network device may be indicated. The secondary entity under each network device may include a UURLC entity and a PC5relayRLC entity.
[0317] In a possible implementation, the second terminal device is connected to one or more network devices to form multiple links. The multiple links include a main link and one or more auxiliary links. In the third information, the entity on the main link is first indicated to be activated or deactivated, and then the auxiliary link or the first entity and / or the second entity on the auxiliary link is indicated to be activated or deactivated based on a preset order.
[0318] Among them, the multiple links may include a first link and a second link. The first link is a link between the second terminal device and the first terminal device. In relay communication, it can also be said that the first link is a link for the second terminal device to communicate through the first terminal device and the network device. The second link is a link for the second terminal device and the network device to communicate directly, that is, a direct link. In the first link and the second link, the network device can configure one of the links as a main link, and except for the main link, the remaining links in the first link and the second link are auxiliary links. In other words, the main link can be the first link or the second link, and the auxiliary link can be the first link and / or the second link.
[0319] The third information may include the first indication information and the second indication information. The third information may include a portion of the first indication information first, then a portion of the second indication information, and then a portion of the first indication information. Alternatively, a portion of the second indication information may be included first, then a portion of the first indication information, and then a portion of the second indication information. By including the order of the first indication information and the second indication information, the indication order of the activation or deactivation of each entity and / or each link indicated by the third information may be determined.
[0320] The activation or deactivation indication information of the first link and / or the entity on the first link (the first entity) may be included in the first indication information, and the activation or deactivation information of the entity on the second link (the second entity) may be included in the second indication information. That is, the activation or deactivation information of the first link and / or the entity on the first link (the first entity) and / or the entity on the second link (the second entity) may be included in the third information. The method for indicating the activation or deactivation of the link may refer to the above-mentioned method for indicating the activation or deactivation of the entity, which will not be described in detail here.
[0321] In one example, the first link is a link in which a first entity exists. In the third information, based on the preset order, the first entity or the second entity on the main link (if the main link is a first link, then one or more first entities on the first link are indicated first, and if the main link is a second link, then one or more second entities on the second entity are indicated first) can be indicated to activate or deactivate first, and then the first entity and / or the second entity on the auxiliary link can be indicated to activate or deactivate. The preset order can be predetermined by the network device. For example, it is predetermined randomly by the network device, or it is predetermined by the network device based on the communication capabilities of each link and / or each entity, etc., and the embodiments of the present application do not limit this. In one possible manner, the preset order of the base station can be indicated to the second terminal device in the configuration of the base station, including the order of configuring the links and the order of the entities.
[0322] For example, based on the preset order, the first entity or the second entity on the main link may be instructed to activate or deactivate first, and then one or more first entities on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate, and then one or more second entities on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate. Alternatively, based on the preset order, the first entity or the second entity on the main link may be instructed to activate or deactivate first, and then the second entity on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate, and then the first entity on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate. For example, the link and the entities on the link configured by the base station for the second terminal device include:
[0323] A main link, a first entity 1 on the main link, and a first entity 2, that is, the main link is the first link;
[0324] Auxiliary link 1, second entity 3 on the auxiliary link 1, second entity 4, that is, auxiliary link 1 is a second link;
[0325] Auxiliary link 2, second entity 5 on the auxiliary link 2, second entity 6, that is, auxiliary link 2 is a second link;
[0326] Auxiliary link 3, first entity 7 and first entity 8 on the auxiliary link 3, that is, the auxiliary link 3 is a first link;
[0327] The auxiliary link 4, the first entity 9 on the auxiliary link 4, and the first entity 10, that is, the auxiliary link 4 is the first link;
[0328] If based on a preset order, the entity activation or deactivation on the main link can be indicated first, and then the first entity activation or deactivation on the auxiliary link can be indicated, and then the second entity activation or deactivation on the auxiliary link can be indicated, then the third message can include activation and deactivation indication information in the following order: first entity 1, first entity 2, first entity 7-10, second entity 3-6. If based on a preset order, the entity activation or deactivation on the main link can be indicated first, and then the second entity activation or deactivation on the auxiliary link can be indicated, and then the first entity activation or deactivation on the auxiliary link can be indicated. Then the third message can include activation and deactivation indication information in the following order: first entity 1, first entity 2, second entity 3-6, first entity 7-10.
[0329] It is understandable that the link where the main entity is located is the main link, and the main link may include only one main entity but not an auxiliary entity. Alternatively, the main link may also include one main entity and one or more auxiliary entities. Since the main entity will always be in an activated state, the activation state of the main entity may not be indicated. Therefore, if the main link includes only one main entity but not an auxiliary entity, the third message does not need to indicate the entity on the main link, but only needs to indicate the entity on the auxiliary link.
[0330] In another example, the first link is a link where the first entity does not exist. In the third information, based on the preset order, the first link or the second entity on the main link (if the main link is a first link, then the first link is indicated at this time, if the main link is a second link, then one or more second entities are indicated at this time) can be indicated to activate or deactivate first, and then the first link corresponding to the auxiliary link and / or the second entity on the auxiliary link can be indicated to activate or deactivate. For example, based on the preset order, the main link or the second entity on the main link can be indicated to activate or deactivate first, then the first link on the auxiliary link can be indicated to activate or deactivate, and then the second entity on the auxiliary link can be indicated to activate or deactivate. Alternatively, based on the preset order, the main link or the second entity on the main link can be indicated to activate or deactivate first, then the second entity on the auxiliary link can be indicated to activate or deactivate, and then the first link on the auxiliary link can be indicated to activate or deactivate. Among them, the preset order can be predetermined by the network device. For example, it is predetermined randomly by the network device, or it is predetermined by the network device based on the communication capabilities of each link and / or each entity, etc., and the embodiments of the present application are not limited to this. In one possible manner, the base station preset order may be indicated to the second terminal device in the configuration of the base station, including the order of configuring the links and the order of the entities.
[0331] For example, if the main link is a second link and the first link is a link where the first entity does not exist, then based on the preset order, the second entity on the main link may be instructed to activate or deactivate first, then one or more second entities on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate, and then the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate. Alternatively, based on the preset order, the second entity on the main link may be instructed to activate or deactivate first, then the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate, and then the second entity on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate. For example, the links and entities on the links configured by the base station for the second terminal device include:
[0332] A main link, a second entity 1 on the main link, and a second entity 2, that is, the main link is a second link;
[0333] Auxiliary link 1, second entity 3 on the auxiliary link 1, second entity 4, that is, auxiliary link 1 is a second link;
[0334] Auxiliary link 2, second entity 5 on the auxiliary link 2, second entity 6, that is, auxiliary link 2 is a second link;
[0335] Auxiliary link 3, auxiliary link 3 is the first link;
[0336] Auxiliary link 4, where auxiliary link 4 is the first link;
[0337] If based on a preset order, the second entity on the primary link can be first indicated to be activated or deactivated, then the second entity on the auxiliary link can be indicated to be activated or deactivated, and then the auxiliary link can be indicated to be activated or deactivated, then the third message can include activation and deactivation indication information in the following order: second entity 1, second entity 2, second entity 3-6, auxiliary link 3, auxiliary link 4. If based on a preset order, the second entity on the primary link can be first indicated to be activated or deactivated, then the auxiliary link can be indicated to be activated or deactivated, and then the second entity on the auxiliary link can be indicated to be activated or deactivated. Then the third message can include activation and deactivation indication information in the following order: second entity 1, second entity 2, auxiliary link 3, auxiliary link 4, second entity 3-6.
[0338] It is understandable that if the main link is a first link without a first entity, since the main link will always be in an activated state, the activation state of the main link may not be indicated. Therefore, the third message does not need to indicate the main link, but only needs to indicate the auxiliary link and / or the entity on the auxiliary link.
[0339] For example, if the main link is the first link, then based on the preset order, one or more second entities on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate first, and then the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate. Alternatively, based on the preset order, the second entity on the main link may be instructed to activate or deactivate first, and then the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate, and then the second entity on the auxiliary link may be instructed to activate or deactivate. For example, the link and the entity on the link configured by the base station for the second terminal device include:
[0340] Main link, the main link is the first link;
[0341] Auxiliary link 1, second entity 3 on the auxiliary link 1, second entity 4, that is, auxiliary link 1 is a second link;
[0342] Auxiliary link 2, second entity 5 on the auxiliary link 2, second entity 6, that is, auxiliary link 2 is a second link;
[0343] Auxiliary link 3, auxiliary link 3 is the first link;
[0344] Auxiliary link 4, where auxiliary link 4 is the first link;
[0345] In this case, based on the preset order, it is not necessary to indicate the activation or deactivation of the main link, but only needs to indicate the activation or deactivation of the second entity on the auxiliary link first, and then indicate the activation or deactivation of the auxiliary link. The third message can include activation and deactivation indication information in the following order: second entity 3-6, auxiliary link 3, auxiliary link 4. Alternatively, based on the preset order, it is not necessary to indicate the activation or deactivation of the main link, but only needs to indicate the activation or deactivation of the auxiliary link first, and then indicate the activation or deactivation of the second entity on the auxiliary link. The third message can include activation and deactivation indication information in the following order: auxiliary link 3, auxiliary link 4, second entity 3-6.
[0346] In the first example, the first entity exists on the first link. In the second example, the second entity does not exist on the first link. It is understandable that, in actual situations, the first link where the first entity exists and the first link where the first entity does not exist may be included at the same time. In this case, the activation or deactivation indication of the first link and the second link by the third message can be obtained by combining the above two examples, which will not be repeated here.
[0347] In a possible implementation manner, the third information includes a second identifier, and the second identifier is used to indicate a first link corresponding to the first entity, and / or to indicate a second link corresponding to the second entity, and / or to indicate the first link.
[0348] By implementing the embodiments of the present application, in a relay communication scenario, flexible activation or deactivation of PDCP duplication can be achieved by indicating activation or deactivation of a secondary RLC entity or link, thereby improving the reliability of data transmission and reducing resource waste.
