Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a delivery device, and more particularly to the structure of a single-use delivery device for delivering a prescribed amount of a powdered medicine or other delivery object into a nasal cavity or the like. Background Art

[0002] Generally, it is known that a powdered medicine is administered into the nasal cavity for patients suffering from rhinitis, nasal allergies, etc. In this treatment method, a powdered medicine filled in a capsule is administered into the nasal cavity using a dedicated administration device. In addition, an administration device used in this treatment method has been proposed in the past (for example, see Patent Documents 1 and 2).

[0003] The operation of administering medicine using this medication device is roughly as follows. That is, the user removes the cap from the cylindrical member, inserts the front end into one nostril, and pushes the pump so that the air from the pump flows into a container such as a capsule through the air introduction passage, and the medicine in the container is delivered to the user's nasal cavity for administration. As a pump used in this medication device, blow molding (blow molding) is used exclusively, which has a relatively low mold cost and is suitable for the manufacture of hollow molded products.

[0008] Problems to be solved by the invention

[0009] However, as mentioned above, conventional pumps manufactured by blow molding have poor molding accuracy and large variations among products. The way they are compressed when pushed varies, and they may deform depending on the product or the method of pushing (see Fig. 27 ). One of the performances required of a drug delivery device for nasal administration is that the powdered drug can be sprayed uniformly and administered stably regardless of who uses it. In view of this point, the fact that the squeezing method of the pump during pushing cannot be the same is a disadvantage. Thus, the conventional drug delivery device may also have the problem that the method of drug spraying changes due to the action during administration, but in reality, no device improved based on these viewpoints has been proposed.

[0010] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a delivery device with a new structure that can evenly spray and stably deliver a powdered medicine or other delivery object regardless of who uses it.

[0011] Means for solving problems

[0012] In order to solve this problem, the inventors have conducted various studies. Originally, considering the background that conventional pumps were manufactured by blow molding with poor molding accuracy, there is the following fact: in addition to responding to the desire to suppress mold costs to a lower level, in order to mold a hollow pump such as a corrugated structure with a reduced diameter at the mouth and to separate it from the mold, in fact, methods other than blow molding cannot be used. In other words, compared with various conditions, pumps for single-use devices for administering powdered medicines and other administered materials generally use pumps with corrugated structures manufactured by blow molding, which is also common sense. Taking such facts into consideration, the inventors have repeatedly studied the use of methods other than blow molding and further the new issues that arise in this case, and came up with new insights.

[0013] One embodiment of the present invention based on this finding is a delivery device, which is a single-use delivery device for delivering a prescribed amount of a powdered medicine or other delivery object into a nasal cavity or the like, wherein the delivery device comprises:

[0014] A pump member having a generally tapered shape that deforms when pushed to reduce the internal volume; and

[0015] The cylindrical guide member is disposed inside the pump member and guides the deformed portion of the pump member.

[0016] One of the powerful methods to replace the above-mentioned blow molding with poor molding accuracy is injection molding. If injection molding, which has much better molding accuracy than blow molding, is used, it is possible to manufacture a pump with less deviation in wall thickness and less deviation in each product. However, if the pump is originally a corrugated structure, it cannot be manufactured by injection molding because it cannot be demolded. In other words, if it is manufactured by injection molding, it must be a structure that can be demolded, such as a tapered shape that gradually tapers overall. However, when the pump is in such a shape that gradually tapers overall, it is not necessarily flattened straight when pushed, but tilted to the side or bent in the middle, and the pump is difficult to be flattened in the same way. In this regard, in the delivery device involved in one embodiment of the present invention as described above, since the guide member guides the deformed part of the pump member, the pump member will not tilt to the side or bend in the middle of the deformation. In short, according to the administration device of this scheme, which adopts a pump component that can be manufactured by injection molding with excellent molding accuracy and uses a guide component to guide its deformed part, the way the pump is flattened when pushed can be easily made uniform, and no matter who uses it, the powdered medicine can be evenly sprayed and the drug can be administered stably.

[0017] In the above-described administering tool, a step portion in which the degree of tapering changes in the middle of the tapered shape may be formed in the pump member.

[0018] In the above-mentioned administering device, the pump member may have a shape including a tapered large diameter portion and a tapered small diameter portion having a smaller diameter than the large diameter portion, and a step portion may be formed between the large diameter portion and the small diameter portion.

[0019] In the above-described administering device, the pump member may have a circular cross-section.

[0020] In the above-described administering tool, a pressed portion to be pressed by a user may be formed at a front end portion of the pump member where the outer diameter is the smallest.

[0021] In the administration tool as described above, the pump member may have a shape that can be molded by injection molding.

[0022] In the above-described administering tool, the cylindrical guide member may be disposed in a state where at least a portion thereof overlaps with the small-diameter portion of the pump member.

[0023] In the above-described administering tool, an outer peripheral surface of a portion of the cylindrical guide member that overlaps with the small-diameter portion of the pump member may be in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the small-diameter portion.

[0024] In the above-described administering device, a gap of 3 mm or less may be formed between an outer peripheral surface of a portion of the cylindrical guide member overlapping with the small diameter portion of the pump member and an inner peripheral surface of the small diameter portion.

[0025] Alternatively, in the above-mentioned delivery device, the cylindrical guide member may be constructed as follows: a base end side cylindrical portion is provided at a base end portion located in the direction in which the pump member is pushed, and a front end side cylindrical portion is connected to and extends from the base end side cylindrical portion at a front end portion located at the end portion facing the small diameter portion of the pump member.

[0026] In the above-described administration tool, the outer diameter of the base end side cylindrical portion may be larger than the outer diameter of the distal end side cylindrical portion.

[0027] In the above-described administering tool, the outer peripheral surface of the base end portion of the cylindrical guide member located in the direction in which the pump member is pressed may be fixed in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter portion of the pump member.

[0028] In the above-described administering tool, a plurality of proximal end side slits positioned along the circumferential direction may be provided at the proximal end portion of the cylindrical guide member.

[0029] In the above-described administering tool, the total value of the width of the proximal end side slits along the circumferential direction of the tubular guide member may be 50% or less of the entire circumferential length of the proximal end portion of the tubular guide member.

[0030] In the above-described administering tool, a rod-shaped guide member may be provided on the inner peripheral side of the front end portion of the pump member for suppressing lateral movement of the front end portion when the pump member is deformed.

[0031] In the above-described delivery tool, a guide hole for guiding the rod-shaped guide member in a slidable state in the longitudinal direction thereof may be provided in the central portion of the cylindrical guide member.

[0032] In the above-described administering tool, the rod-shaped guide member and the guide hole may be provided along a central axis of the administering tool.

[0033] In the above-described administering tool, a guide hole may be formed inside a base end portion of the cylindrical guide member that is an end portion in a direction in which the pump member is pressed.

[0034] In the above-described administering tool, a plurality of distal end slits positioned along the circumferential direction may be provided in at least a portion of the distal end cylindrical portion of the tubular guide member.

[0035] In the above-described administering tool, a total value of widths of the distal slits provided in at least a portion of the distal cylindrical portion may be equal to or less than 75% of a total circumference of the distal cylindrical portion.

[0036] In the above-described administering tool, the rod-shaped guide member may include a deformation suppressing portion that expands in a radial direction perpendicular to the shaft portion thereof and suppresses lateral movement of the rod-shaped guide member when the pump member is deformed.

[0037] In the administration tool as described above, the deformation suppressing portion may be formed in a size and shape such that at least a portion thereof contacts the inner peripheral surface of the distal end side cylindrical portion.

[0038] In the above-described administering tool, the deformation suppressing portion may be formed in a shape that spreads in a wing-like manner in a radial direction perpendicular to the axis thereof.

[0039] In the above-mentioned dispenser, the front end portion of the rod-shaped guide member in the sliding direction may be a flat surface, a convex shape, a concave shape, or a tapered shape.

[0040] Alternatively, the above-mentioned delivery device may further include: a nozzle member having a filling space filled with a delivered object and an opening for discharging the delivered object; and a sealing member or a plug member for sealing the opening of the filling space.

[0041] The front end portion of the rod-shaped guide member is formed as a hole portion that pierces a hole in the sealing member or a plug portion that pushes up the plug member to open the hole.

[0042] The above-mentioned delivery device may be connected to a pump member at the opening of the filling space of the nozzle member, and may be configured such that air is delivered and the delivered object is ejected from the ejection opening of the nozzle member as the pump member contracts.

[0043] Effects of the Invention

[0044] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a delivery device having a new structure that can uniformly eject a delivery object such as a powdered medicine and deliver it stably regardless of who uses it. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0072] Hereinafter, the structure of the present invention will be described in detail based on an example of embodiment shown in the drawings.

[0073] [First embodiment]

[0074] The device for nasal administration (hereinafter referred to as "powdered medicine delivery device" or simply "delivery device") 10 for delivering a powdered medicine into the nasal cavity is a device preferably of a single-use type (one-time use type) for delivering a predetermined amount of powdered medicine into the nasal cavity of a patient. The powdered medicine delivery device 10 of this embodiment includes a pump member 20, a cylindrical guide member 30, a rod member (rod-shaped guide member) 40, a nozzle member 50, a sealing member 60, a lug (closing member) 70, etc. (see Figure 1 to Figure 4 wait).

[0075] The pump member 20 is a member that sends air when the powder medicine dispensing device 10 is used so that the powder medicine M as the administered object is discharged from the discharge opening 54 of the nozzle member 50. In the present embodiment, a member having a structure in which the user (hereinafter also referred to as the user) pushes the pressed portion 29 at the bottom with a finger to flatten the pump member 20 and reduce the internal volume is used as the pump member 20 (see Figure 3 It should be noted that, although the posture of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 when in use is not strictly limited, it is generally expected to be used in a posture in which the ejection opening 54 of the nozzle member 50 is directed upward. In the present embodiment, for the sake of convenience, the posture in which the ejection opening 54 of the nozzle member 50 is directed vertically upward in this way is set as the use posture, and the direction in which the ejection opening 54 of the nozzle member 50 is located in this posture is positioned as "up" and the opposite direction is positioned as "down", and the description is made on this basis (refer to Figure 3 wait).

[0076] The specific shape of the pump component 20 is not particularly limited as long as it is a component that functions as described above. As an example, in the present embodiment, a pump component 20 having a shape that can be molded by injection molding is used. In the past, many pump components used in such powdered medicine delivery devices were blow molded products with poor molding accuracy. If they are injection molded, the molding accuracy is much better than that in the case of blow molding, so a pump component with less deviation in wall thickness and less deviation in each product can be achieved. However, if injection molding is performed, it is necessary to set the shape so that the diameter of the opening 25 is larger than the diameter of other parts so that it can be demolded along the center axis 20C after molding. Taking various aspects into consideration, in the present embodiment, a pump component 20 having a tapered shape in which the front end portion (hereinafter also referred to as the bottom) 24 side of the portion that becomes the bottom in the use posture is closed and the opposite side is opened as the opening 25 and gradually tapers as a whole (see Figure 5 (A) Figure 6 The pump member 20 is formed with a large diameter portion 21 , a small diameter portion 22 , a tapered portion (step portion) 23 , a bottom portion 24 , and an opening 25 .

[0077] The large diameter portion 21 is a portion with a larger diameter among the portions of the pump member 20 that are flattened and deformed. The large diameter portion 21 of the present embodiment is formed into a tapered shape with a diameter that gradually decreases as it moves from the opening 25 toward the bottom 24 ( Figure 6 , refer to the thick single-dot chain line showing the degree of tapering of the large diameter portion 21).

[0078] The small diameter portion 22 is a portion of the pump member 20 that is smaller in diameter than the large diameter portion 21 among the portions that are flattened and deformed. The small diameter portion 22 of the present embodiment is formed into a tapered shape whose diameter gradually decreases as it approaches the bottom 24 ( Figure 6, refer to the dotted line showing the degree of tapering of the small diameter portion 22).

[0079] The tapered portion 23 is formed as a portion where the tapered degree changes in the middle of the pump member 20 in the tapered shape as described above. For example, in the present embodiment, a tapered portion 23 having a greater tapering degree than the large diameter portion 21 and the small diameter portion 22 (with a greater slope relative to the central axis 20C) is formed between the large diameter portion 21 and the small diameter portion 22 (see Figure 6 wait).

[0080] The bottom portion (front end portion) 24 is the front end portion of the tapered small diameter portion 22 in the flattened and deformed portion of the pump member 20, and is formed into a shape that becomes narrower, such as a dome shape (see Figure 6 When the powdered medicine delivery device 10 is used with the discharge opening 54 of the nozzle member 50 facing upward, the bottom 24 faces downward and functions as a pushed portion 29 for the user to push with his thumb when using the device (see Figure 3 Although there is no particularly detailed diagram, in actual use, the general usage scheme is as follows: the user places the index finger and the middle finger on the finger placement parts 56 and 57 arranged in a manner of sandwiching the nozzle part 51, and pushes the pressed part 29 of the bottom 24 with the thumb, so that the powdered medicine M is ejected from the ejection opening 54 of the nozzle member 50.

[0081] The opening 25 is a portion of the pump member 20 that is compressed and deformed and becomes the opening of the large diameter portion 21 (see Figure 6 In the present embodiment, the flattened and deformed portion of the pump member 20, that is, the tapered portion from the opening 25 to the bottom 24, is formed into a tapered shape with a circular cross section, but this is only a preferred example and may be formed into other shapes.

[0082] It should be noted that the pump member 20 in the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment is further provided with a base portion 26 (see Figure 6 , Figure 7 The base portion 26 has the same shape as the nozzle member 50 described later (e.g., an elliptical shape), and is formed so as to be integrated with the nozzle member 50 to form a frame of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 (see Figure 4 , Figure 5 In the present embodiment, the flattened and deformed parts (large diameter part 21, small diameter part 22, tapered part 23) of the pump member 20 are integrally formed with the base part 26, but the pump member 20 and the base part 26 may be formed separately and then partially welded and integrated to form the pump member 20.

[0083] It should be noted that the overall shape and structure of the pump member 20 provided with the base portion 26 as described above is only a preferred example. The base portion 26 may be formed into other shapes in accordance with the shape of the nozzle member 50 (see Figure 5 (B), (E), etc.), it may also be a shape further including a pump cover 26c (see Figure 5 (C), (D)). The pump cover 26c prevents the deformed portion of the pump member 20 from being accidentally flattened or the powdered medicine M from being ejected before use, and is configured to give the user a deep impression of pushing the front end portion 24 of the pump member 20 upward, and is composed of a wall-like member covering both sides of the periphery of the large diameter portion 21, the small diameter portion 22, etc. (refer to Figure 5 (C) etc.). The pump cover 26c is not provided on the front side (or back side) of the pump member 20, and the user can push the bottom 24 with a finger (mainly the thumb). In addition, a disk-shaped portion 24d that expands the contact area of the user's finger may be provided on the bottom 24 (see Figure 5 (B)).

[0084] The cylindrical guide member 30 is arranged inside the pump member 20 and is a member configured to guide the deformed portion of the pump member 20. The specific structure of the cylindrical guide member 30 is not particularly limited as long as it has the function of guiding the portion in this manner. As an example, in this embodiment, a substantially cylindrical member with both ends open is arranged inside the pump member 20 and used as the cylindrical guide member 30 (see Figure 4 The cylindrical guide member 30 is integrated with the nozzle member 50 by embedding the base end portion 31 thereof.

[0085] In addition, the cylindrical guide member 30 is arranged in a state where at least a portion thereof overlaps with the small diameter portion 22 of the pump member 20. For example, the cylindrical guide member 30 in the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment is arranged so that at least a portion of its lower end portion 32 overlaps with the small diameter portion 22 of the pump member 20 (see Figure 8 , Fig.11 , Fig. 22 In this case, the portion of the outer circumferential surface 33 of the cylindrical guide member 30 that overlaps with the small diameter portion 22 of the pump member 20 may be in contact with the inner circumferential surface 22i of the small diameter portion 22, but may not necessarily be in contact and may be separated from the inner circumferential surface 22i. When separated from the inner circumferential surface 22i, the size of the gap between the outer circumferential surface 33 of the cylindrical guide member 30 and the inner circumferential surface 22i of the small diameter portion 22 is preferably less than a specified value (for example, less than 3 mm) so as to fully exert the function of the cylindrical guide member 30 such as the portion that guides the deformation of the pump member 20.

[0086] A guide hole 34 (see FIG. 1 ) is provided in the central portion 30C of the cylindrical guide member 30 to guide the rod member (rod-shaped guide member) 40 in a state where it can slide along the longitudinal direction thereof. Figure 4 , Fig. 9 The guide hole 34 in the powder medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment is provided along the central axis of the powder medicine delivery device 10 (at Figure 4 The inner surface of the housing 10 is shown by the reference numeral 10C).

[0087] The inner wall 34i of the guide hole 34 is formed with a locking portion 34f (see FIG. 1 ) for locking the rod member 40 at a predetermined position. Fig.16 The locking portion 34f is formed to be larger than the edge portion 44e of the pointed drill portion 44 of the rod member 40 (see Fig.15 (E) etc.) with a slightly smaller diameter (refer to Fig.16 (B) etc.). Before the powdered medicine delivery device 10 is used, the edge 44e of the pointed drill portion 44 is locked with the locking portion 34f, and the rod member 40 is stopped at a predetermined position (see Fig.16 When the pump member 20 of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 is pushed and a force exceeding a predetermined value is applied to the rod member 40, the edge 44e of the pointed drill portion 44 passes over the locking portion 34f, and the rod member 40 is guided by the guide hole 34 and starts to move upward (see Fig.17 , Fig.18 ).

[0088] The rod member 40 is a rod-shaped guide member provided on the inner peripheral side of the bottom 24 of the pump member 20, and has a straight-extending shaft portion 42, and moves along the central axis 10C in the guide hole 34 of the cylindrical guide member 30 (see Figure 4 , Figure 8 The lower end portion 43 of the rod member 40 is mounted near the center of the bottom portion 24 of the pump member 20 in such a manner that the rod member 40 becomes vertical. For example, in this embodiment, the lower end portion 43 having a smaller diameter than the shaft portion 42 is inserted into the hub portion 24b formed at the bottom portion 24 of the pump member 20 to mount the rod member 40 on the pump member 20 (see Figure 8 In the powdered medicine dispensing device 10 having such a rod member 40, when the user pushes the pump member 20 and deforms it, the pump member 20 can be pushed straight up while suppressing the sideward movement of the bottom (front end portion) 24, the small diameter portion 22, etc. Generally speaking, the movement of the finger when pushing the pump member 20 varies from person to person, and the fine movement during the pushing action has no reproducibility. However, based on this situation, according to the powdered medicine dispensing device 10 of this embodiment, it is possible to achieve a uniform action that allows the pump member 20 to be pushed straight up regardless of who uses it.

[0089] The upper end portion 41 of the rod member 40 (the front end portion in the direction in which the pump member 20 slides when the pump member 20 is pushed) can be formed into various shapes such as a flat surface, a convex shape, a concave shape, or a tapered shape according to the application. The rod member 40 in the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of this embodiment is formed into a shape having a pointed drill portion (piercing portion) 44 with a tapered upper end portion 41 and a relatively sharp end (see Figure 4 The rod member 40 having the pointed piercer portion 44 formed at the end thus has a function as a piercer such that the pointed piercer portion 44 at the upper end portion 41 pierces the sealing member 60 when the pump member 20 is pushed (see Fig. 9 , Fig.13 , Figure 16 to Figure 19 It should be noted that Fig. 9 The rod member 40 having the conical upper end 41 is shown in the figure, but this is only a preferred example. For example, as long as the rod member 40 has the function of a drill, the shape of the upper end 41 is other than the conical shape (see Fig.15 (B), (E)), a conical shape formed on the shaft portion 42 having a cross-shaped cross section with grooves 42C formed on four sides (see Fig.15 (D)) can also be provided with an elliptical inclined surface (see Fig.15 (C)) A shape having two semi-elliptical inclined surfaces with different inclined directions and having two sharp points (refer to Fig.15 (A)) etc.

[0090] The nozzle member 50 is a member having a nozzle portion 51 that facilitates the supply of the powdered medicine M to the nasal cavity of the patient. The nozzle portion 51 may be appropriately rounded near the tip as required (see Figure 4 , Figure 8 A filling space 52 for filling the powdered medicine M is formed inside the nozzle member 50 (see Figure 8 (A) etc.) A discharge opening 54 for discharging the powdered medicine M is provided at the center of the front end of the nozzle member 50 (see Figure 2 On the proximal end side of the nozzle member 50 (the side mounted on the pump member 20 side), an opening 53 (see Figure 8 In addition, the nozzle member 50 is provided with finger placement portions 56 and 57 arranged so as to sandwich the nozzle portion 51 (see Figure 4 wait).

[0091] The sealing member 60 is a member for sealing the opening 53 of the filling space 52 of the nozzle member 50 (see Figure 3 B. Figure 3C). As the sealing member 60, it is preferable to use a moisture-proof film (e.g., an aluminum sheet) or the like that seals the filling space 52 to prevent the powdered medicine M from being deteriorated by air or moisture, and that can be easily pierced by the pointed piercer 44 when in use. In the present embodiment, a sealing member 60 that maintains airtightness or sealing without being broken or peeled off is used even when the internal pressure of the pump member 20 rises to a predetermined level.

[0092] The lug 70 is a member for closing the ejection opening 54 of the nozzle member 50. The lug 70 of this embodiment is attached to the front end of the nozzle member 50 in a foldable state. When in use, the user folds the lug 70 by hand to open the ejection opening 54 (see Figure 1 , Figure 2 wait).

[0093] In the powdered medicine delivery device 10 as described above, the pump member 20 is connected to the opening 53 of the filling space 52 of the nozzle member 50 (see Figure 8 etc.), and is structured as follows: accompanying the action of squeezing and contracting the pump member 20, air is sent out and the powdered medicine M is ejected from the ejection opening 54 of the nozzle member 50 (refer to Fig.13 In addition, the powdered medicine delivery device 10 in this embodiment has a pump member 20 in which the large diameter portion 21 and the small diameter portion 22 are connected via the tapered portion 23, and is easily crushed when the pushed portion 29 of the front end portion 24 is pressed. Moreover, the tapered portion 23 provided between the large diameter portion 21 and the small diameter portion 22 in a manner in which the tapered degree varies functions as a starting point (deformation start point) of the deformation of the pump member 20 when it is crushed (refer to Figure 8 , Fig. 9 etc.). When the pushed portion 29 is pushed, the pump member 20 having such a shape is easily flattened along the central axis 20C as intended. Moreover, in the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment in which such a pump member 20 is molded by injection molding with excellent molding accuracy, the deviation of the wall thickness of the pump member 20 is small, and the error of each product is small, so that no matter which product it is, it can be flattened in the same way as intended. Moreover, since the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment is provided with a tubular guide member 30 for guiding the deformed portion of the pump member 20, the way the pump member 20 is flattened when pushed is easy to become the same, and no matter who uses it, the powdered medicine M can be uniformly sprayed and the drug can be administered stably.

[0094] It should be noted that, as described above, when the pump member 20 is pushed and the rod member 40 is slid (see Figure 8 , Fig. 9The length of the rod member 40 that can slide is called the length of the rod member 40 that can slide (see Fig.10 ). In addition, the amount of flattening of the pump member 20 corresponding to the length by which the rod member 40 can slide, in other words, the maximum deformation of the pump member 20 along the central axis 10C when pushed is referred to as the “flattening amount” S of the pump member 20 (refer to Fig.11 ).

[0095] [Second embodiment]

[0096] The rod member 40 of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 may further include a deformation inhibiting portion that inhibits the rod member 40 from moving sideways when the pump member 20 is deformed and also assists the rod member 40 in being pushed straight up. The powdered medicine delivery device 10 including such a deformation inhibiting portion will be described below as a second embodiment of the present invention (see Fig.12 , Fig.13 It should be noted that the following description will focus on the components that are different from the first embodiment described above.

[0097] The rod member 40 of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment includes four wing-shaped deformation suppressing portions (hereinafter also referred to as wing-shaped portions) 45 extending in the radial direction from the shaft portion 42 (see Fig.12 The wing-shaped portion 45 of the present embodiment is formed to have a size and shape such that at least a portion thereof (e.g., the outer peripheral edge portion 45e) contacts the inner peripheral surface of the front end side cylindrical portion 36 of the tubular guide member 30, but this is a preferred example, and the wing-shaped portion 45 may be formed to have a size and shape such that a predetermined gap is formed between the wing-shaped portion 45 and the inner peripheral surface of the front end side cylindrical portion 36.

[0098] According to the powdered medicine delivery device 10 having the rod member 40 having the wing-shaped portion 45 as described above, the wing-shaped portion 45 functions as a deformation suppression member when the pump is misoperated, thereby suppressing the pump member 20 from being flattened from the side and, in combination with other functions, further pushing up the rod member 40 straightly (see Fig.13 and Fig.14 (A)). On the other hand, in a conventional powdered medicine delivery device 10' that does not have such a wing-shaped portion, when an external force unexpectedly acts, the pump member 20' may be crushed (see Fig.14 (B). It should be noted that Fig.14 (B) and FIG. 28 , the reference numerals of the components corresponding to the powdered medicine administration device 10 are given “′ (dash)” and are shown).

[0099] It should be noted that the shape and size of the wing-shaped portion 45 are not particularly limited as long as the pump member 20 can be preferentially suppressed from being accidentally deformed when the pump is misoperated, and the rod member 40 can be assisted to be pushed straight upward as required. For example, in this embodiment, the wing-shaped portion 45 radially extending from the shaft portion 42 is shown, but this is only a preferred example (see Fig.12 In addition, the wing-shaped portion 45 may be formed in a shape that is curved or bent in the middle when viewed from above (or from below) along the central axis 10C.

[0100] [Third Embodiment]

[0101] Hereinafter, as a third embodiment of the present invention, a powdered medicine delivery device 10 (see Fig. 22 , Fig.24 The following description will focus on the parts of the structure that are different from the above-mentioned embodiment.

[0102] In the powder medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment, an inner cylindrical portion 37 constituting a guide hole 34 is formed inside the base end portion (referring to the end portion located in the direction in which the pump member 20 is pushed, and in the case of the powder medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment, it corresponds to the upper end portion, and therefore, it will be described as the “upper end portion” below) 31 of the cylindrical guide member 30 (refer to Fig.25 The inner cylindrical portion 37 is connected to the base end cylindrical portion 35 of the cylindrical guide member 30 by cross-shaped beams 37b arranged in four directions and extending radially, or is connected from the base end cylindrical portion 35 to at least a portion of the front end cylindrical portion 36.

[0103] The outer cylinder portion 38 is arranged so that at least a portion thereof extends from a portion of the large diameter portion 21 of the pump member 20 across the tapered portion 23 and overlaps a portion of the small diameter portion 22 in a side view (see Fig. 22 ). The outer cylindrical portion 38 of the cylindrical guide member 30 provided in this manner guides the deformed portion of the pump member 20 so that the portion is straight and uniformly flattened.

[0104] A slit (cut-in portion) may be formed on the front end side of the outer cylinder portion 38. In the present embodiment, a plurality of front end side slits 36c positioned along the circumferential direction are provided on at least a portion of the front end side cylindrical portion 36 of the tubular guide member 30 (see Fig.26 ). It can be expected that the provision of such a front end side slit 36c leads to a reduction in weight of the cylindrical guide member 30 and a simplification of its shape. It is preferred that the front end side slits 36c are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction (see Fig.26(A)). When such a front end side slit 36c is provided, the total length of the width of the front end side slit 36c in the circumferential direction (slit width) is less than a specified proportion of the full circumferential length of the lower end portion 32 of the front end side cylindrical portion 36, for example, preferably less than 75%. This is based on the following insight: even if the portion other than the front end side slit portion 36c is, for example, less than about 25% which is relatively weak as a physical structure, if it is uniformly arranged along the circumference of the front end side cylindrical portion 36, it can fully play the role of a guide member that forms a beginning for guiding the deformed portion in the pump member 20 to be flattened as intended. In addition, it is preferred that a plurality of front end side slits 36c are uniformly arranged along the circumferential direction. Alternatively, in addition to a slit-shaped scheme, the front end side slit 36c may also be formed by, for example, utilizing the space between a plurality of bracket-shaped ribs 38r arranged in the circumferential direction (refer to Fig.26 (B)).

[0105] In addition, the proximal cylindrical portion 35 of the tubular guide member 30 may be provided with a plurality of proximal slits 35s positioned along the circumferential direction (see Fig.24 (A)~(D). It should be noted that Fig.24 (A) shows the base end slit 35s by an imaginary line). In this case, the total value of the width of the base end slit 35s along the circumferential direction is less than a predetermined ratio, for example, preferably less than 50%, relative to the total circumferential length of the upper end portion 31 of the tubular guide member 30. This is based on the following insight: even if the portion other than the base end slit 35s is, for example, about 50%, which is relatively weak as a physical structure, if it is uniformly arranged along the circumference of the front end side cylindrical portion 36, the base end side cylindrical portion 35 including the base end slit 35s is fixed in contact with the inner peripheral surface 21i of the large diameter portion 21 of the pump member 20, and the function can be fully exerted. In addition, it is preferred that a plurality of base end side slits 35s are uniformly arranged along the circumferential direction.

[0106] Alternatively, a cylindrical guide member 30 may be formed in which a cylindrical portion 35 in an upper end portion 31 of the cylindrical guide member 30 (a portion shown as a base end cylindrical portion 35 in the present specification, which may also be referred to as an upper end cylindrical portion) and a cylindrical portion in a lower end portion 32 (a portion shown as a front end cylindrical portion 36 in the present specification, which may also be referred to as a lower end cylindrical portion) are connected (see Fig.23 ). The cylindrical guide member 30 of the present embodiment is shaped such that the outer diameter of the base end side cylindrical portion 35 is larger than the outer diameter of the front end side cylindrical portion 36 (see Fig.23 wait).

[0107] In addition, the cylindrical guide member 30 may be formed so that the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 31 is in contact with the inner peripheral surface 21i of the large diameter portion 21 of the pump member 20 and is fixed (see Fig. 22In this case, an annular groove (not shown) can be provided on the inner peripheral surface 21i of the large diameter portion 21 of the pump member 20, and an annular convex portion 31t protruding outward can be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the upper end portion 31 of the cylindrical guide member 30 so as to engage with the groove (see Fig. 22 By engaging the annular convex portion 31t with the groove, the pump member 20 and the cylindrical guide member 30 are positioned relative to each other and fixed in a state that they are difficult to fall off.

[0108] [Fourth Embodiment]

[0109] In the embodiment described above, the rod member 40 is shown to have a tapered upper end portion 41. Hereinafter, as a fourth embodiment of the present invention, an example of a configuration in which the upper end portion 41 of the rod member 40 is flat is given for preliminary description (see Fig. 20 , Fig.21 wait).

[0110] The powder medicine dispensing device 10 of the present embodiment includes a filling space 52 filled with the powder medicine M and a plug member 80 (see FIG. 1 ) for sealing the opening 53 of the filling space 52. Fig. 20 The plug member 80 is preferably in a shape that is difficult to be pulled out from the opening 53 before being pushed with a corresponding force, such as a spherical shape (see Fig. 20 (A)), truncated cone (ref. Fig. 20 (C)) etc. The opening 53 is formed to match the shape and size of the plug member 80 .

[0111] The rod member 40 in the powdered medicine delivery device 10 of the present embodiment is a member whose upper end portion 41 is set to a flat surface, which is only an example. What is important is that the upper end portion 41 of the rod member 40 can push up the plug member 80 from below to set the opening 53 to an open or opened state, and as long as this is done, it can be a shape other than the above, for example, a concave shape that is concave in a manner that contacts the surface of the spherical plug member 80 completely.

[0112] It should be noted that the above-described embodiment is an example of a preferred implementation of the present invention and is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.

[0113] As described above, the powdered medicine delivery device 10 is preferably used as a device for delivering nasal medicines, but the use is not particularly limited to this. For example, previously, nasal delivery was mainly a local treatment based on rhinitis treatment. Recently, many nasal medicines that aim to make drugs that relieve migraines, cancer pain, etc. and expect systemic effects to be absorbed from the nasal mucosa have also been commercialized. Based on this, it can be said that the use of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 also includes this use. In addition, research has also been conducted on the transfer of drugs from the olfactory part in the nasal cavity to the brain, and the use of the powdered medicine delivery device 10 also includes the use of delivering nasal medicines to the olfactory part in the nasal cavity. Moreover, in the development of pharmaceuticals, the development of biopharmaceuticals that require strict control of the delivery amount and strict storage management has become active, and the demand for nasal application of these pharmaceuticals has also increased, which also includes this use.
