[0028] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0029] <First Embodiment>

[0030] In the following, reference will be made to Figures 1 to 17 A camera device according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure is described. Figure 1 1 is a side view of a camera device 100 as an example of an imaging device according to the first embodiment. Figure 1 As shown, the camera device 100 includes a dome cover 1 and a base 2 .

[0031] Figure 2 1 is a perspective view of the main components of the camera device 100 according to the first embodiment in a state where the dome cover 1 is removed. Figure 2 As shown, in the camera device 100 , a plurality of camera modules 200 are mounted on a shift rail 3 provided on a base 2 .

[0032] In this example, the camera apparatus 100 is configured to include four camera modules 200 mounted thereon, and the camera apparatus 100 is capable of simultaneously performing imaging in four different imaging ranges.

[0033] Figure 3 1 is an exploded perspective view of the main components of the camera module 200 according to the first embodiment. The camera module 200 includes an imaging unit 300 and a tilting base 11. The imaging unit 300 is held by the tilting base 11. In addition, the imaging unit 300 includes a replacement component 400 ( Figure 7) and a lens holder 8. The replacement assembly 400 includes a lens unit 50, an illuminating device 60, and a light shielding member 70. Although two illuminating devices 60 are provided in the figure, one illuminating device 60 or three or more illuminating devices 60 may be provided. The lens holder 8 includes an imaging element 9a, a sensor board 9, and an optical filter unit 10. In addition, the lens holder 8 on which the imaging element 9a and the sensor board 9 are mounted is an example of an imaging component. The lens unit 50 is equipped with an optical system having an optical axis O. The lens unit 50 is detachable from the lens holder 8. Thus, the lens unit 50 can be replaced with a lens unit 50 having various focal lengths. The sensor board 9 has a sensor board connector 9b mounted thereon. The illuminating device 60 illuminates the entire area imaged by the lens holder 8. In addition, the illuminating device 60 is detachable from the lens holder 8, and preferably, the illuminating device 60 is detachable from the lens holder 8 as a whole together with the lens unit 50. The illuminating device 60 has a light emitting element 60a. The illuminating device 60 is also equipped with an illuminating lens (not shown). The illumination angle of the illumination device 60 is adjusted by the illumination lens. The illumination lens is detachable from the lens holder 8. The optical filter unit 10 can insert and remove at least one optical filter into and from the optical path through which the external light passes.

[0034] The imaging unit 300 is equipped with a lens unit 50, an illuminating device 60 and a lens holder 8, and can be moved along a circular guide member. More specifically, the inclined base 11 supporting the imaging unit 300 is engaged with the circular guide member, and can be moved along the circular guide member (in the circumferential direction). In addition, a plurality of imaging units 300 are arranged along the circular guide member. The imaging unit 300 performs imaging by forming an image of light passing through the lens unit 50 through the imaging element 9a. In addition, even in a dark environment such as at night, the imaging unit 300 can perform imaging in a state where the illuminating device 60 illuminates the area to be imaged. In addition, in the imaging unit 300, a light shielding member 70 is arranged to prevent ghosting caused by the light from the illuminating device 60 being incident on the lens unit 50. The light shielding member 70 is detachable from the lens holder 8 and shields light incident from the outside of the lens holder 8. The light shielding member 70 is made of an elastic material and is assembled to be pressed against the inside of the dome cover 1. Therefore, the light shielding member 70 can prevent ghosting caused by light from the lighting device 60 being reflected on the inner surface of the dome cover 1 and incident on the lens unit 50. Preferably, the light shielding member 70 is integrally detachable from the lens holder 8 together with the lens unit 50 and the lighting device 60.

[0035] Figure 41 is a cross-sectional view of the camera device according to the first embodiment in the vertical direction. The control board 4 that controls imaging and communication of the camera device 100 is installed inside the base 2. The control board 4 and the camera module 200 communicate with each other through wiring (not shown) that connects the control board connector 4a installed on the control board 4 to the sensor board connector 9b installed on the sensor board 9.

[0036] Figure 5A and Figure 5B : is a perspective view of the main components of the camera device according to the first embodiment. Figure 5A and Figure 5B Only one camera module 200 is shown.

[0037] The camera module 200 is held so as to be movable relative to the shift guide 3. The shift guide 3 has a circular shape centered on the shift axis Y. Therefore, the camera module 200 can be rotated about the shift axis Y so as to, for example, Figure 5A Move to the position shown Figure 5B Position shown.

[0038] FIG. 6A to FIG. 6C 2 is a perspective view of a camera module according to the first embodiment. The imaging unit 300 of the camera module 200 is held by the tilt base 11 in a state where it can be rotated and driven around a tilt axis X, which is perpendicular to the shift axis Y and perpendicular to the optical axis O. In addition, the plurality of camera modules 200 can also be rotated and driven around a pan axis (not shown).

[0039] Fig. 6A A state in which the camera module 200 is oriented in the horizontal direction is shown. Figure 6C A state in which the camera module 200 faces the zenith is shown. Figure 6B Shows Fig. 6A The status and Figure 6C states between the states shown.

[0040] In this way, the camera device 100 can arrange the plurality of camera modules 200 at any position around the shift axis Y. The camera device 100 can also adjust the posture of the imaging unit 300 at any angle around the tilt axis X. In addition, the camera device 100 can adjust the posture of the imaging unit 300 at any angle around the pan axis. Therefore, the camera device 100 allows the user to selectively perform imaging from a plurality of arbitrary viewpoints.

[0041] Figure 72 is an exploded perspective view of the main components of the camera module according to the first embodiment. The camera module 200 is configured so that the replacement assembly 400 composed of the lens unit 50, the lighting device 60 and the light shielding member 70 is held to be detachable (replaceable) from the lens holder 8. When removing the replacement assembly 400 from the lens holder 8, the imaging unit 300 including the replacement assembly 400 and the lens holder 8 is first removed from the tilting base 11. Then, the replacement assembly 400 is removed from the lens holder 8. Alternatively, only the replacement assembly 400 may be removed from the lens holder 8 still held in the tilting base 11.

[0042] Figure 8 is a cross-sectional view of the camera module according to the first embodiment. Figure 8 A cross section including the optical axis O of the camera module 200 illuminated by the illumination device 60 is shown.

[0043] The light shielding member 70 is provided with an imaging opening 70a. The imaging opening 70a is an example of a first opening through which external light passes. Light required for imaging by the lens unit 50 passes through the imaging opening 70a and is incident on the lens unit 50, as shown in the lens angle of view 20. The imaging opening 70a has a tapered shape that widens toward the subject in the optical axis direction so as not to hinder the incidence of light required for imaging by the lens unit 50. This tapered shape is an example of a shape that does not shield light passing through the lens unit 50.

[0044] The light shielding member 70 is also provided with an illumination opening 70b. The illumination opening 70b is an example of a second opening through which light emitted from the illumination device 60 passes. The illumination opening 70b has a tapered shape that widens toward the outside so as not to obstruct the passage of light emitted from the illumination device 60. The tapered shape is an example of a shape that does not shield light emitted from the illumination device 60.

[0045] It is preferable that the lens unit 50 is integrally detachable from the lens holder 8. It is also preferable that the lighting device 60, the lens unit 50, and the light shielding member 70 are integrally detachable from the lens holder 8.

[0046] Fig. 9 is a cross-sectional view in the horizontal direction of the camera device according to the first embodiment. Fig. 9 When the lighting device 60 is in an available state, the camera device 100 is Figure 1 A cross section taken from the horizontal section B in FIG.

[0047] The illumination device irradiation angle 30 is sufficiently larger than the lens angle of view 20. For this reason, the illumination device 60 can appropriately illuminate the entire area imaged by the camera module 200. In contrast, the illumination device irradiation angle 30 is not excessively larger than the lens angle of view 20, so there is little illuminating light outside the imaged area, and unnecessary power consumption is also less. Therefore, the camera device 100 can suppress the generated heat, and does not need to be enlarged for the purpose of a heat dissipation structure, etc.

[0048] Fig.10 is an exploded perspective view of main components of a wide-angle specification camera module according to the first embodiment. Fig.10 Also shown is a state in which the replacement assembly 400 of the camera module 200 is removed and the wide-angle specification assembly 401 is assembled. The wide-angle specification assembly 401 includes the wide-angle lens unit 51, the wide-angle illumination device 61, and the wide-angle light shielding member 71.

[0049] Fig.11 is a cross-sectional view of a wide-angle camera module according to the first embodiment. Fig.11 A cross section of the camera module 200 including the optical axis O, illuminated by the wide-angle illumination device 61, is also shown.

[0050] The wide-angle light shielding member 71 is provided with a wide-angle imaging opening 71a. The wide-angle imaging opening 71a is an example of a first opening through which external light passes. Light required for imaging by the wide-angle lens unit 51 passes through the wide-angle imaging opening 71a and is incident on the wide-angle lens unit 51 as shown by the wide-angle lens angle of view 21.

[0051] The angle between the wide-angle lens angle of view 21 and the optical axis O is greater than the angle between the lens angle of view 20 and the optical axis O. The wide-angle imaging opening 71a has a tapered shape that widens toward the subject in the optical axis direction so as not to hinder the incidence of light. That is, the wide-angle imaging opening 71a has a shape that does not block the light passing through the wide-angle lens unit 51. The angle between the wide-angle imaging opening 71a and the optical axis O is greater than the angle between the imaging opening 70a and the optical axis O.

[0052] The wide-angle light shielding member 71 is provided with a wide-angle illumination opening 71b. The wide-angle illumination opening 71b is an example of a second opening through which the light emitted from the wide-angle illumination device 61 passes. The illumination light of the wide-angle illumination device 61 is a light beam output at an angle indicated by the wide-angle illumination device illumination angle 31, and is emitted to the subject through the wide-angle illumination opening 71b. A shape that does not hinder the light illumination of the wide-angle illumination device 61 is adopted for the wide-angle illumination opening 71b. As such a shape of the wide-angle illumination opening 71b, for example, a tapered shape that widens toward the subject in the optical axis direction is adopted. This tapered shape is an example of a shape that does not block the light emitted from the wide-angle illumination device 61. In addition, the angle between the wide-angle illumination device illumination angle 31 and the optical axis O is larger than the angle between the illumination device illumination angle 30 and the optical axis O.

[0053] Fig.12 FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a wide-angle camera module according to the first embodiment in the horizontal direction. Fig.12 is a cross-sectional view of the camera device according to this example when it has a wide-angle specification. Fig.12 It also shows that when the wide-angle lighting device 61 is in an available state, the camera device 100 Figure 1 A cross section taken from the horizontal section B in FIG.

[0054] The wide-angle illumination device irradiation angle 31 is sufficiently larger than the wide-angle lens angle of view 21. Therefore, the wide-angle illumination device 61 can appropriately illuminate the entire area imaged by the camera module 200. In contrast, the wide-angle illumination device irradiation angle 31 is not excessively larger than the wide-angle lens angle of view 21, so little light is emitted outside the area imaged by the camera module 200, and unnecessary power consumption is also less. Therefore, the camera device 100 can suppress the heat generated by the device, and does not need to be enlarged for the purpose of a heat dissipation structure or the like.

[0055] Fig.13 FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view of main parts of a telephoto camera module according to the first embodiment. Fig.13 is an exploded perspective view of main components when the camera apparatus according to this example has a telephoto specification. Fig.13 Also shown is a state where the replacement assembly 400 of the camera module 200 is removed and the telephoto assembly 402 is assembled.

[0056] Fig.14 is a cross-sectional view of a telephoto camera module according to the first embodiment. Fig.14 is a cross-sectional view of the camera module 200 according to an example when it has a telephoto specification. Fig.14 Also shown is a cross section of the camera module 200 including the optical axis O when light is output by the lighting device 62 .

[0057] The telephoto light shielding member 72 is provided with a telephoto imaging opening 72a. The telephoto imaging opening 72a is an example of a first opening through which external light passes. Light required for imaging by the telephoto lens unit 52 passes through the telephoto imaging opening 72a and is incident on the telephoto lens unit 52 as shown by the telephoto lens angle of view 22.

[0058] The angle between the telephoto lens angle of view 22 and the optical axis O is smaller than the angle between the lens angle of view 20 and the optical axis O. A shape that does not hinder the light from being incident on the telephoto lens unit 52 is adopted for the telephoto imaging opening 72a. That is, a shape that does not block the light passing through the telephoto lens unit 52 is adopted for the telephoto imaging opening 72a. As such a shape of the telephoto imaging opening 72a, for example, a tapered shape that widens toward the subject in the optical axis direction is adopted. This tapered shape is an example of a shape that does not block the light passing through the telephoto lens unit 52. In addition, the angle between the telephoto imaging opening 72a and the optical axis O is smaller than the angle between the imaging opening 70a and the optical axis O.

[0059] The telephoto light shielding member 72 is provided with a telephoto illumination opening 72b. The telephoto illumination device illumination angle 32 is smaller than the wide-angle illumination device illumination angle 31. The telephoto illumination opening 72b is an example of a second opening through which light emitted from the telephoto illumination device 62 passes. The light from the telephoto illumination device 62 is a light beam output at an angle indicated by the telephoto illumination device illumination angle 32, and is emitted to the subject through the telephoto illumination opening 72b. The illumination angle of the telephoto illumination device 62 is adjusted by a lens for illumination so as to be smaller than the illumination angle of the wide-angle illumination device 61. A shape that does not hinder the illumination of light from the telephoto illumination device 62 is adopted for the telephoto illumination opening 72b. That is, a shape that does not block the light emitted from the telephoto illumination device 62 is adopted for the telephoto illumination opening 72b. For example, as such a shape, a tapered shape that widens toward the subject on the optical axis is adopted for the telephoto illumination opening 72b. In addition, the angle between the telephoto illumination device illumination angle 32 and the optical axis O is larger than the angle between the illumination device illumination angle 30 and the optical axis O.

[0060] Fig.15 is a cross-sectional view in the horizontal direction of the telephoto-specification camera device according to the first embodiment. Fig.15 is a cross-sectional view when the camera apparatus 100 according to this example has a telephoto specification. Fig.15 A cross section of the camera device 100 when the telephoto lighting device 62 is used is also shown, the cross section being taken along Figure 1 The horizontal section B in the figure is taken.

[0061] The telephoto illumination device illumination angle 32 is sufficiently larger than the telephoto lens angle of view 22. For this reason, the telephoto illumination device 62 can appropriately illuminate the entire area imaged by the camera module 200. In contrast, the telephoto illumination device illumination angle 32 is not excessively larger than the telephoto lens angle of view 22, so there is little illumination light outside the imaged area, and unnecessary power consumption is also less. Therefore, the camera device 100 can suppress the heat generated by the device, and does not need to be enlarged for the purpose of a heat dissipation structure or the like.

[0062] Fig.16A and Fig. 16B 1 is a cross-sectional view of a camera module according to the first embodiment. An infrared cut filter 10a and a band pass filter 10b held by a filter holder 10c are installed inside the optical filter unit 10. The optical filter unit 10 is configured so that the infrared cut filter 10a or the band pass filter 10b is positioned on the optical axis O.

[0063] Fig.16A The state in which the infrared cut filter 10a is located on the optical axis O is shown. This state is a specification used mainly when an image is captured in a bright environment such as during the day. At this time, the lighting device 60 is not used.

[0064] Fig. 16B The state in which the bandpass filter 10 b is located on the optical axis O is shown. This state is a specification used mainly when an image is captured in a dark environment such as at night. At this time, the lighting device 60 is used.

[0065] Fig.17 is a graph showing the optical characteristics of the camera module according to the first embodiment. The infrared cut filter 10a has a characteristic of transmitting light in the visible light region but not transmitting ultraviolet rays, infrared rays, etc. The bandpass filter 10b has a characteristic of not transmitting light in the visible light region but transmitting only light of a specific frequency band in the infrared light region. At least a portion of the wavelength range of light of the lighting device 60 or the like overlaps with at least a portion of the wavelength range of light transmitted by optical filters such as the infrared cut filter 10a and the bandpass filter 10b.

[0066] The light emitting element 60a is a light emitting diode (LED) light source that emits light in a narrow frequency range having a peak at a specific frequency. Fig.17 As shown, the frequency peak of the light of the light emitting element 60a is positioned within the transmission region of the band pass filter 10b. In addition, the light emitting element 60a is fixed to the lens holder 8.

[0067] Therefore, when the lighting device 60 is used together with the bandpass filter 10b positioned on the optical axis O, illumination is performed by the light passing through the bandpass filter 10b, and thus the image to be captured becomes brighter. In addition, since the light of other frequency ranges is cut off, the camera device 100 can capture clear images even in an environment where visible light is blocked by fog, water vapor, etc.

[0068] The optical filter unit 10 may be detachable from the camera module 200. In this case, the optical filter unit 10 may be replaced with another optical filter unit equipped with an optical filter matching the wavelength of light output by the illumination device 60 and the use environment of the camera device 100.

[0069] <Second Embodiment>

[0070] The following will refer to Fig.18 and Fig.19 A camera device according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure is described. Fig.18 1 is an exploded perspective view of the main components of the camera module according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure. The basic structure of the camera device according to the second embodiment is the same as the basic structure of the camera device 100 according to the first embodiment. The camera device according to the second embodiment has a configuration in which a plurality of camera modules 210 are movably held by a shift guide 3 provided on a base 2 and covered by a dome cover 1.

[0071] The basic structure of the camera module 210 is also the same as that of the camera module 200, but the difference is that the illumination lens 12 is assembled to the light emitting element 63a of the illumination device 63 of the camera module 210. The illumination lens 12 is an optical element related to the illumination angle of the illumination device 63. The illumination lens 12 is detachable from the lens holder 8, and the illumination angle of the illumination device 63 can be changed by replacing the illumination lens 12 with an illumination lens 12 having different optical specifications.

[0072] Fig.19 : is an exploded perspective view of the main components of the camera module according to the second embodiment of the present disclosure. The replacement assembly 410 according to the second embodiment includes a lens unit 50, a light shielding member 73, and an illumination lens 12 of the illumination device 63. Therefore, the illumination lens 12 of the illumination device 63 is replaceable relative to the lens holder 81. That is, the illumination lens 12 is detachable from the lens holder 81. The light emitting element 63a of the illumination device 63 is fixed to the lens holder 81.

[0073] The light shielding member 73 is provided with an imaging opening 73a and an illumination opening 73b. Similar to the imaging opening 70a according to the first embodiment, a tapered shape widening toward the subject is adopted for the imaging opening 73a. In addition, the cone angle is set according to the viewing angle of the lens unit 50 as a component. Similarly, the illumination opening 73b has a tapered shape widening toward the subject. The cone angle is set according to the irradiation angle of the illumination lens 12 as a component.

[0074] In the case of the above-mentioned configuration, the camera device of the present invention properly illuminates the area to be imaged. In addition, as described above, the camera device of the present invention is equipped with a replaceable camera module with different optical specifications, thereby avoiding ghosting caused by the lighting device without increasing the size of the device and properly illuminating the area to be imaged.

[0075] While the present disclosure has been described with reference to exemplary embodiments, it is to be understood that the present disclosure is not limited to the disclosed exemplary embodiments. The scope of the following claims is to be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent structures and functions.

[0076] This application claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-177020 filed on October 12, 2023, and Japanese Patent Application No. 2024-146679 filed on August 28, 2024, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
