[0042] It should be noted that: like reference numerals and letters denote like items in the following drawings, and thus, once an item is defined in one drawing, it does not need to be further discussed in subsequent drawings.
[0043] In some embodiments, the terminal may use two sets of transmitters to transmit uplink data. For example, one set of transmitters is fixed to transmit data at 3.5 GHz, and the other set dynamically switches to transmit data on two carriers of 3.5 GHz and 2.1 GHz.
[0044] For example, in the super uplink method based on SUL, the terminal transmits data in the manner of TDM (Time-Division Multiplexing) technology on two high and low frequency carriers, that is, only transmits data on one carrier at the same time.
[0045] For example, in Option 1 (the first mode) of the super uplink method based on UL CA, the terminal transmits data in a TDM manner on two carriers, high and low frequencies. That is, data is transmitted on only one carrier at the same time.
[0046] For example, in Option 2 (the first mode) of the super uplink method based on UL CA, the terminal supports transmitting data simultaneously on two carriers, high and low frequencies.
[0047] In some embodiments, in the co-networking of NR (New Radio) dual bands (a total of 3 carriers), one band contains a single carrier and the other band contains two carriers. The terminal uses two sets of transmitters and supports dynamically switching between the two sets of transmitters on two bands, 3.5 GHz (including two carriers) and 2.1 GHz (1 carrier). For the case where data can be transmitted on two bands, there is no technical solution to improve the uplink coverage.
[0048] In view of the above technical problems, the present disclosure proposes a method for transmitting uplink data. For example, the technical solution of the present disclosure can be implemented through the following embodiments.
[0049] Figure 1 The flowchart showing some embodiments of the method for transmitting uplink data of the present disclosure.
[0050] As Figure 1 shown, in step 110, obtain the uplink multi-carrier transmission method currently adopted by the terminal. The terminal has multiple transmitters and can transmit uplink data on multiple bands.
[0051] In step 120, determine the transmitter states of the multiple transmitters of the terminal. The transmitter states include the correspondence between the multiple transmitters and the multiple bands.
[0052] In step 130, according to the transmitter states, call the corresponding transmitters to transmit uplink data of different bands.
[0053] In some embodiments, the technical solution of the present disclosure may further include Figure 2 the embodiments in
[0054] Figure 2 The flowchart showing other embodiments of the method for transmitting uplink data of the present disclosure.
[0055] As Figure 2 shown, in step 210, according to the currently adopted uplink multi-carrier transmission method, determine the corresponding ports for transmitting uplink data of different bands.
[0056] In some embodiments, according to whether each of the multiple transmitters supports switching between multiple frequency bands, the transmitter states between the multiple transmitters and the multiple frequency bands are determined.
[0057] For example, in the first mode where the currently adopted uplink multi-carrier transmission method is SUL or UL CA, and the first transmitter of the terminal supports switching between the first frequency band and the second frequency band while the second transmitter is fixed in the second frequency band, the first transmitter state and the second transmitter state are established.
[0058] The first transmitter state includes the first transmitter transmitting data in the first frequency band and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band; the second transmitter state includes the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band.
[0059] For example, the terminal transmits data based on SUL or UL CA option 1, and its two transmitters support the 1Tx - 2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers. The 1Tx - 2Tx switching mode means that the first transmitter supports switching between frequency band 1 and frequency band 2, and the second transmitter is fixed in frequency band 2.
[0060] In this case, the port mapping relationship between the two transmitters and the uplink transmission port is as follows:
[0061] The first transmitter state is 1T + 1T, indicating that the first transmitter transmits data in frequency band 1 and the second transmitter transmits data in frequency band 2; the second transmitter state is 0T + 2T, indicating that the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmit data in frequency band 2.
[0062] The number of ports on each frequency band corresponds to the transmitter state in the same row. For example, 1P+(0P + 0P) means that the number of ports on the single carrier in frequency band 1 is 1, and the number of ports on both carriers in frequency band 2 is 0; 0P+(1P + 2P) means that the number of ports on the single carrier in frequency band 1 is 0, the number of ports on one carrier in frequency band 2 is 1, and the number of ports on the other carrier is 2, and so on.
[0063] In some embodiments, in the first mode where the currently adopted uplink multi-carrier transmission method is SUL or CA, and both the first transmitter and the second transmitter of the terminal support switching between the first frequency band and the second frequency band, the first transmitter state and the second transmitter state are established.
[0064] The first transmitter state includes the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band; the second transmitter state includes the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmitting data in the first frequency band.
[0065] For example, the terminal transmits data based on SUL or UL CA option 1, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers. The 2Tx-2Tx switching mode means that both the first transmitter and the second transmitter support switching between frequency band 1 and frequency band 2.
[0066] In this case, the port mapping relationship between the two transmitters and the uplink transmission port is as follows:
[0067] The state of the first transmitter is 0T+2T, and the state of the second transmitter is 2T+0T. The number of ports on each frequency band corresponds to the transmitter state in the same row.
[0068] In some embodiments, when the currently adopted uplink multi-carrier transmission method is the second mode of CA, and the first transmitter of the terminal supports switching between the first frequency band and the second frequency band, and the second transmitter is fixed in the second frequency band, the state of the first transmitter and the state of the second transmitter are established.
[0069] The state of the first transmitter includes the first transmitter transmitting data in the first frequency band and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band; the state of the second transmitter includes the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band.
[0070] For example, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 1Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0071] In this case, the port mapping relationship between the two transmitters and the uplink transmission port is as follows:
[0072] The state of the first transmitter is 1T+1T, and the state of the second transmitter is 0T+2T. The number of ports on each frequency band corresponds to the transmitter state in the same row.
[0073] In some embodiments, when the currently adopted uplink multi-carrier transmission method is the second mode of CA, and both the first transmitter and the second transmitter of the terminal support switching between the first frequency band and the second frequency band, the state of the first transmitter, the state of the second transmitter, and the state of the third transmitter are established.
[0074] The state of the first transmitter includes the first transmitter transmitting data in the first frequency band and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band; the state of the second transmitter includes the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmitting data in the second frequency band; the state of the third transmitter includes the first transmitter and the second transmitter transmitting data in the first frequency band.
[0075] For example, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0076] In this case, the port mapping relationship between the two transmitters and the uplink transmission port is as follows:
[0077] The state of the first transmitter is 1T+1T, the state of the second transmitter is 0T+2T, and the third mapping relationship is 2T+0T. The number of ports on each frequency band corresponds to the transmitter state in the same row.
[0078] In step 220, according to the port mapping relationship, the corresponding ports are called to transmit the uplink data of different frequency bands.
[0079] In some embodiments, steps 120 and 130 can be implemented through the Figure 3 embodiments in.
[0080] Figure 3 The flowchart showing some other embodiments of the uplink data transmission method of the present disclosure.
[0081] As Figure 3 shown, in step 1210, according to the currently adopted uplink multi-carrier transmission method, multiple transmitter states are determined. For example, it can be determined according to at least one of the following three conditions: Condition 1, the uplink multi-carrier transmission method adopted by the terminal; Condition 2, whether each of the multiple transmitters supports switching between multiple frequency bands; Condition 3, the number of carriers included in each frequency band.
[0082] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on SUL or UL CA option 1, and its two transmitters support the 1Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0083] For example, the initial state (current transmitter state) can be configured for the transmitters of the terminal as: frequency band 1 corresponds to 1 transmitter, and frequency band 2 corresponds to 1 transmitter; or frequency band 1 corresponds to 0 transmitters, and frequency band 2 corresponds to two transmitters
[0084] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on SUL or UL CA option 1, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0085] For example, the transmitters of the terminal can be configured with an initial state where: one transmitter corresponds to frequency band 1 and one transmitter corresponds to frequency band 2
[0086] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 1Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0087] For example, the transmitters of the terminal can be configured with an initial state where: one transmitter corresponds to frequency band 1 and one transmitter corresponds to frequency band 2.
[0088] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0089] For example, the transmitters of the terminal can be configured with an initial state where: one transmitter corresponds to frequency band 1 and one transmitter corresponds to frequency band 2.
[0090] In step 1310, according to the relevant situation of the frequency band to be used in the next transmission, it is determined whether to switch the current transmitter state to another transmitter state among multiple transmitter states as the transmitter state for the next transmission. The current transmitter state is the mapping relationship for the current transmission.
[0091] In some embodiments, it can be determined whether to switch the current transmitter state to another transmitter state among multiple transmitter states according to the number of carriers or the number of ports on the carrier in the frequency band to be used in the next transmission.
[0092] For example, in the case where the number of carriers in the frequency band to be used in the next transmission is greater than or equal to the number of transmitters corresponding to this frequency band in the current transmitter state, the current transmitter state is switched to another transmitter state. The number of transmitters corresponding to this frequency band in other mapping relationships is greater than or equal to the number of carriers.
[0093] For example, in the case where the number of ports on the carrier in the frequency band to be used in the next transmission is greater than or equal to the number of transmitters corresponding to this frequency band in the current transmitter state, the current transmitter state is switched to another transmitter state. The number of transmitters corresponding to this frequency band in other mapping relationships is greater than or equal to the number of ports.
[0094] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on SUL or UL CA option 1, and its two transmitters support the 1Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0095] For example, the current state (transmitter state) of the transmitter of the terminal is: there is 1 transmitter corresponding to frequency band 1, and 1 transmitter corresponding to frequency band 2. The situation related to the frequency band used for the next transmission is: there is transmission on at least 1 carrier in frequency band 2.
[0096] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches. The state after switching (other transmitter state) is: there are 0 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter supporting frequency band switching originally corresponding to frequency band 1 switches to frequency band 2; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0097] For example, the current state of the terminal transmitter is: there are 0 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. The situation related to the frequency band used for the next transmission is: there is 1-port (1 port) transmission on the carrier in frequency band 1.
[0098] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches. The state after switching is: there is 1 transmitter corresponding to frequency band 1, and 1 transmitter corresponding to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter supporting frequency band switching originally corresponding to frequency band 2 switches to frequency band 1; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0099] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on SUL or UL CA option 1, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0100] For example, the current state of the transmitter of the terminal is: there are two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and 0 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. The situation related to the frequency band used for the next transmission is: there is transmission on at least 1 carrier in frequency band 2.
[0101] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches. The state after switching is: there are 0 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter supporting frequency band switching originally corresponding to frequency band 1 switches to frequency band 2; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0102] For example, the current state of the terminal transmitter is: there are 0 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. The situation related to the frequency band used for the next transmission is: there is 1-port transmission on the carrier in frequency band 1.
[0103] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches. The state after switching is: there are 2 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and 0 transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2, that is, two transmitters supporting frequency band switching originally corresponding to frequency band 2 switch to frequency band 1; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0104] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 1Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0105] For example, the current state of the terminal's transmitter is: 1 transmitter corresponds to frequency band 1, and 1 transmitter corresponds to frequency band 2. The frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 2-port transmission on at least 1 carrier in frequency band 2.
[0106] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches, and the state after switching is: 0 transmitters correspond to frequency band 1, and 2 transmitters correspond to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter that supports frequency band switching and originally corresponded to frequency band 1 switches to frequency band 2; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0107] For example, the current state of the terminal's transmitter is: 0 transmitters correspond to frequency band 1, and 2 transmitters correspond to frequency band 2. The frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 1-port transmission on the carrier in frequency band 1.
[0108] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches, and the state after switching is: 1 transmitter corresponds to frequency band 1, and 1 transmitter corresponds to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter that supports frequency band switching and originally corresponded to frequency band 2 switches to frequency band 1; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0109] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains 1 carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0110] For example, the current state of the terminal's transmitter is: 1 transmitter corresponds to frequency band 1, and 1 transmitter corresponds to frequency band 2. The frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 2-port transmission on the carrier in frequency band 1.
[0111] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches, and the state after switching is: 2 transmitters correspond to frequency band 1, and 0 transmitters correspond to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter that supports frequency band switching and originally corresponded to frequency band 2 switches to frequency band 2; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0112] For example, the frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 2-port transmission on at least 1 carrier in frequency band 2.
[0113] In this case, the transmitter of the terminal switches, and the state after switching is: 0 transmitters correspond to frequency band 1, and 2 transmitters correspond to frequency band 2, that is, 1 transmitter that supports frequency band switching and originally corresponded to frequency band 1 switches to frequency band 2; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0114] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0115] For example, the current state of the terminal's transmitters is: two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and zero transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. The frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 1-port transmission on at least one carrier in frequency band 2.
[0116] In this case, the transmitters of the terminal switch, and the state after switching is: state 1, one transmitter corresponding to frequency band 1, and one transmitter corresponding to frequency band 2; or state 2, zero transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. No switching occurs in other cases.
[0117] State 1 or state 2 can be fixed by the protocol; or the base station can indicate to the terminal to select state 1 or state 2 through signaling; or the terminal can decide state 1 or state 2 by itself.
[0118] For example, the frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 2-port transmission on at least one carrier in frequency band 2.
[0119] In this case, the transmitters of the terminal switch, and the state after switching is: zero transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2, that is, the two transmitters originally corresponding to frequency band 1 and supporting frequency band switching switch to frequency band 2; no switching occurs in other cases.
[0120] In some embodiments, the terminal transmits data based on UL CA option 2, and its two transmitters support the 2Tx-2Tx switching mode between two frequency bands. Frequency band 1 contains one carrier, and frequency band 2 contains two carriers.
[0121] For example, the current state of the terminal's transmitters is: zero transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. The frequency band related to the next transmission is: there is 1-port transmission on at least one carrier in frequency band 1.
[0122] In this case, the transmitters of the terminal switch, and the state after switching is: state 1, one transmitter corresponding to frequency band 1, and one transmitter corresponding to frequency band 2; or state 2, two transmitters corresponding to frequency band 1, and zero transmitters corresponding to frequency band 2. No switching occurs in other cases.
[0123] State 1 or state 2 can be fixed by the protocol; or the base station can indicate to the terminal to select state 1 or state 2 through signaling; or the terminal can decide state 1 or state 2 by itself.
[0124] For example, the relevant situation of the frequency band used in the next transmission is as follows: there is 2-port transmission on at least one carrier in Band 1.
[0125] In this case, the terminal transmitter switches, and the state after switching is: Band 1 corresponds to two transmitters, and Band 2 corresponds to 0 transmitters; in other cases, no switching occurs.
[0126] In the above embodiment, according to the uplink multi-carrier transmission method adopted previously, the transmitter states between the multiple transmitters adopted by the terminal and the multiple frequency bands are determined, enabling dynamic switching of multiple transmitters on multiple frequency bands. In this way, the uplink capacity and uplink coverage performance can be improved, thereby enhancing the communication quality.
