1. A personal care composition comprising: From about 1 wt. % to about 26 wt. % of a surfactant system comprising: (i) non-sulfate anionic surfactants, (ii) a nonionic surfactant, and (iii) amphoteric surfactants, wherein the weight ratio of the nonionic surfactant to the amphoteric surfactant is from about 1.5:1 to about 3.5:1; and from about 1% to about 30% by weight of a polyol, All weight percentages are based on the total weight of the personal care composition.

2. The personal care composition of claim 1, wherein the personal care composition has a Natural Origin Index based on ISO Standard 16128 of about 90% or greater.

3. The personal care composition of claim 2, wherein the natural origin index of the personal care composition based on ISO standard 16128 is about 96% or greater, preferably about 98% or greater.

4. The personal care composition according to any preceding claim, wherein the personal care composition is free of sulfate-based anionic surfactants.

The personal care composition according to any preceding claim, wherein the non-sulfate anionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of sulfonated fatty acid monoglyceride surfactants, isethionate surfactants, sarcosinate surfactants, taurate surfactants, and combinations of two or more thereof.

6. A personal care composition according to any preceding claim, wherein the non-sulfate anionic surfactant comprises a taurate surfactant.

13. The personal care composition of any preceding claim, wherein the polyol is a humectant selected from glycols, glycerin, and combinations of two or more thereof.

14. The personal care composition of any preceding claim, wherein the polyol is present in an amount from about 1% to about 30% by weight.

15. The personal care composition according to any preceding claim, wherein the personal care composition is substantially free of thickeners or contains no thickeners.

16. The personal care composition of any preceding claim, wherein the non-sulfate anionic surfactant is present in an amount from about 0.3% to about 10% by weight.

17. The personal care composition of any preceding claim, wherein the nonionic surfactant is present in an amount from about 2% to about 12% by weight.

18. The personal care composition of any preceding claim, wherein the amphoteric surfactant is present in an amount from about 1% to about 11% by weight.

A personal care composition comprising: A surfactant system, comprising: (i) taurate surfactant, (ii) a glucoside surfactant, and (iii) betaine surfactants; and from about 1% to about 30% by weight of a polyol, The personal care composition is free of sulfate-based anionic surfactants and has a natural origin index of about 90% or greater based on ISO Standard 16128, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the personal care composition.

20. The personal care composition of claim 19, wherein the weight ratio of the glucoside surfactant to the betaine surfactant is from about 1.5:1 to about 3.5:1, preferably from about 2:1 to about 3:1.
