Underwater cable sealing assembly and through-hull sealing device

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the field of cable sealing, and discloses an underwater cable sealing assembly and a cabin-penetrating sealing device, which comprise a flexible sealing ring and an inner lining ring. The flexible sealing ring is tightly sleeved between the outside of an underwater cable and an underwater pipe body through which the cable penetrates. The inner lining ring is embedded in the sealing ring and is made of a temperature deformation material that shrinks below a preset temperature and has a shrinkage amplitude greater than that of the sealing ring. The preset temperature corresponds to the temperature at a preset underwater depth, so that the inner lining ring can shrink below the preset underwater depth to tighten the sealing ring on the cable. The inner lining ring is made of a copper-based memory alloy. The underwater cable sealing assembly and the cabin-penetrating sealing device of the present disclosure can make the sealing material more closely contact the cable below the preset underwater depth, which is conducive to reducing the probability of the sealing material separating from the cable due to temperature changes.
