Tunnel Drainage Pipe Positioning and Installation Device and Method

Abstract

This invention relates to a positioning and installation device and method for tunnel drainage pipes. The installation device includes a displacement lifting beam for moving within the tunnel trench, a pipe positioning mechanism, and a drive mechanism. The pipe positioning mechanism is slidably sleeved on the displacement lifting beam and extends to support the inner circumference of the drainage pipe, suspending it in the air. The drive mechanism connects the pipe positioning mechanism and the displacement lifting beam and drives the pipe positioning mechanism to move axially along the displacement lifting beam. This invention achieves aligned installation of the drainage pipe by extending the pipe positioning mechanism from inside the drainage pipe to suspend it, adjusting the position of the pipe positioning mechanism via the displacement lifting beam, and then driving the pipe positioning mechanism to move axially along the displacement lifting beam using the drive mechanism. This avoids the risk of damage to the drainage pipe ends and failure of the sealing ring caused by the rough external force of external hoisting installation.
