Abstract

This method eliminates the need for artificial aging; it achieves control over the distribution of precipitated phases solely through solution treatment, which is an essential step before aging. The distribution of precipitated phases in aluminum-lithium alloy sheets treated according to this method shows significant differences, effectively controlling the type and size distribution of precipitated phases in the aluminum-lithium alloy. TEM analysis confirms the type and size of precipitated phases precipitated after treatment with this method on different aluminum-lithium alloy sheets.
