A casing collar locator with a magnet and a method of using the same

Abstract

The application discloses a casing outside compression packer and a use method. An inner tube has an upper section, a middle section and a lower section. The diameter of the middle section is larger than that of the lower section. A balance hole is arranged at the upper part of the lower section. A rubber tube and a rubber tube seat are arranged outside the upper section. A hydraulic cylinder is arranged outside the middle section and the lower section. The upper inner wall of the hydraulic cylinder is matched with the middle section. The lower inner wall of the hydraulic cylinder is matched with the lower section. The lower section corresponds to the inner section of the hydraulic cylinder to form a cavity. The cavity is communicated with the inner part of the inner tube. The lower part of the rubber tube seat is connected with the upper part of the hydraulic cylinder. A lower limit connector is fixed at the lower part of the lower section. The lower end of the hydraulic cylinder is abutted with the upper end of the lower limit connector. The upper part of the inner tube is installed with an upper limit connector. The hydraulic cylinder is connected with the inner tube through setting nails. After the well is lowered, the slurry is replaced, the cement is injected, the top replacement fluid is punched, and the bottom of the casing is closed, the pushing force generated by the pressure difference between the top replacement fluid and the cement density makes the application to be automatically set.
