Methods and systems for electrical property tomographic imaging are presented. In particular, for objects having shapes that lack axial symmetry, electrical property maps (such as conductivity maps and permittivity maps) of the object are constructed with improved accuracy, thereby correcting for shortcomings arising from the transmit-receive phase assumption in electrical property tomography.
