Abstract

This invention provides a method for preparing an environmentally friendly orange disperse dye and the environmentally friendly orange disperse dye prepared using this method. The method for preparing the environmentally friendly orange disperse dye includes the following steps: Step 1): In the presence of an oxidizing agent, o-chloro-p-nitroaniline is subjected to a bromination reaction with bromine to obtain a brominated product; Step 2): The brominated product is subjected to a diazotization reaction with a diazo component to obtain a diazo product; Step 3): The diazo product is coupled with N-cyanoethyl-N-acetoxyethylaniline to obtain the environmentally friendly orange disperse dye. The environmentally friendly orange disperse dye prepared by this invention has high purity and yield. More importantly, no chlorinated organic compounds such as chlorobenzene, chlorotoluene, and chlorophenol are detected in the environmentally friendly orange disperse dye prepared by the method of this invention, thus meeting environmental protection requirements.
