Abstract

This invention relates to the field of new tire materials technology, and more particularly to a high-wear-resistant and tear-resistant passenger car tire tread rubber composition, its preparation method, and the tire thereof. The composition, based on 100 parts by weight of the rubber phase, comprises a blend of low molecular weight end-functionalized solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber and high cis-high molecular weight polybutadiene, supplemented with silica, silane coupling agent, tackifying resin, and a small amount of carbon black for reinforcement. Through a mixing process of "high-temperature silanization masterbatch—low-temperature addition of high molecular weight rubber—low-shear peak retention," the rubber phase forms and maintains a distinct bimodal molecular weight distribution, thereby significantly improving crack propagation resistance and anti-sharding durability while maintaining wear resistance and low heat generation. Examples show that the obtained vulcanizate exhibits a tear resistance index meeting a predetermined threshold, with stable improvement in abrasion performance, making it suitable for high-load and complex road conditions, such as in electric vehicles.
