A smart segmentation system for necrotic areas of diabetic foot wounds

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of image analysis technology, specifically to an intelligent segmentation system for necrotic areas of diabetic foot wounds. This system, through the cooperation of multiple modules, can achieve the following steps: acquiring an RGB image of the foot wound corresponding to the target patient and performing Lab conversion; identifying the foot wound region; determining the grayscale feature value corresponding to each pixel in the foot wound region, thereby determining the texture color feature value corresponding to each pixel in the foot wound region; clustering the pixels in the foot wound region according to the texture color feature values; performing edge light penetration analysis on pixels within suspected necrotic tissue clusters, and filtering out the target necrotic wound region from the suspected necrotic tissue clusters. This invention, by analyzing RGB images of foot wounds, achieves the identification of necrotic wound regions and improves the accuracy of necrotic wound region segmentation.
