The target identity recognition method includes: obtaining a scene security impact factor of the current recognition scene; determining a scene security value corresponding to the current recognition scene based on the scene security impact factor; determining parameters used for identity recognition based on the scene security value to obtain an identity recognition strategy; and performing identity recognition on the target to be recognized based on the identity recognition strategy to obtain an identity recognition result corresponding to the target to be recognized. This application can flexibly adjust the identity recognition strategy according to the actual security situation of the current recognition scene, improve the accuracy and security of identity recognition, and is applicable to various scenarios.
