Abstract

This invention relates to an aquaculture feed composition for carnivorous fish with improved sustainability features, wherein a feed-fish dependence ratio (FFDR) is reduced by using single-cell protein (SCP) as a partial or complete substitute for fishmeal, optionally in combination with non-marine oils or vegetable oils, and relates to the use of the single-cell protein (SCP) composition in aquaculture feed compositions for carnivorous fish for the partial or complete substitution of fishmeal components.
