Relay status detection circuit and battery management system comprising the same

Abstract

This invention relates to a relay status detection circuit for a high-voltage power system and a battery management system including the circuit. The detection circuit includes: first to third switching elements, each including a controlled terminal for controlling its on / off state; first and second sampling branches, each consisting of at least two resistors connected in series and including two input terminals and a detection terminal; and a control chip including two sampling ports and a plurality of control ports, each sampling port being connected to the detection terminal of a corresponding sampling branch in the first and second sampling branches to receive a voltage signal therefrom. The control chip is configured to selectively control the on / off state of the first to third switching elements via the plurality of control ports, and to determine the on / off state of a main positive relay or a main negative relay based on the voltage signals received at the two sampling ports.
