Battery pack and temperature control method

Abstract

This invention provides a battery pack and a temperature control method. The battery pack includes: a battery housing, comprising a receiving cavity and a channel cavity distributed along a first preset horizontal direction, the top of the receiving cavity communicating with the top of the channel cavity, and the bottom of the channel cavity communicating with the bottom of the receiving cavity; a battery module disposed within the receiving cavity; a diverter disposed within the receiving cavity to divide the receiving cavity into an upper cavity and a lower cavity; the diverter is provided with a clearance opening to avoid the battery module, and the battery module contacts the inner wall of the clearance opening; the diverter divides the battery module into an upper battery portion and a lower battery portion; wherein, a liquid inlet is provided on the lower cavity wall of the upper cavity, and a liquid outlet is provided on the upper cavity wall of the lower cavity, so that coolant is introduced into the upper cavity through the liquid inlet, the coolant in the upper cavity flows into the channel cavity through its top, and then flows into the lower cavity through the bottom of the channel cavity, and the coolant in the lower cavity flows out through the liquid outlet.
