本发明公开了一种基于惰性气体保护的土壤监测装置，监测主体的下端为锥形入土端；监测主体内自上而下依次设有电池腔、控制腔和安装腔；蓄电池固定在电池腔内；监测探头电连接蓄电池；监测探头内部中空且其一端垂直固定在监测主体的侧壁，另一端用于土壤数据采集；监测探头的周壁开设有多个透气孔；储气瓶内储存有惰性气体，储气瓶固定在安装腔内并通过导气管连通监测探头的内腔，惰性气体可透过透气孔在监测探头的外壁面与土壤之间形成隔绝气幕；控制电路板固定在控制腔内，控制电路板电连接蓄电池并通讯连接监测探头以将土壤数据传输至终端。本发明解决了现有土壤监测装置在长时间埋地使用情况下传感易失效、数据偏差大的问题。
