Web switching device and printing apparatus

Abstract

This application relates to a roll-to-roll switching device and printing equipment. The roll-to-roll switching device includes a base; a first unwind roller disposed on one side of the base; a second unwind roller rotatably disposed on the other side of the base; a first guide unit disposed on the base, located on the side of the first unwind roller facing the second unwind roller; a second guide unit disposed on the base, located on the side of the first guide unit facing the second unwind roller; a cutting assembly including a cutter disposed between the first and second guide units for cutting the first roll of material; a pressure roller spaced apart from the cutter for pressing the first roll of material against the second roll of material; and a first detector for detecting the real-time tension of the second roll of material. When the real-time tension detected by the first detector reaches a preset value, the cutter moves towards the first roll of material to perform a cutting operation on the first roll of material. The roll-to-roll switching device provided by this application allows for roll-to-roll replacement without stopping the machine, improving production efficiency and reducing raw material waste.
