Abstract

A substrate transport path is formed between the winding device and the unwinding device. A skip-step cold foil stamping device is provided on the substrate transport path. The skip-step cold foil stamping device includes a cold foil film winding mechanism, a cold foil film unwinding mechanism, and a pressure roller. The pressure roller is disposed between the cold foil film unwinding mechanism and the cold foil film winding mechanism. The pressure roller presses the cold foil film onto the substrate. The pressure roller is connected to a lifting drive mechanism that drives it to lift and press down. After each hot foil stamping operation on the substrate, the pressure roller is lifted by the lifting drive mechanism to allow the cold foil film to retract. The cold foil film retracts to a set length and then stops. The pressure roller then descends to continue pressing the cold foil film onto the next substrate. The pressure roller of the present invention moves upward to allow the cold foil to retract, so that the cold foil retracts to a set length, making the hot stamping pattern on the cold foil compactly arranged with the prior pattern, thereby improving the utilization rate of the cold foil and effectively controlling costs.
