The transmission provided by this utility model includes: a first input shaft, a second input shaft, a first intermediate shaft, a second intermediate shaft, and an output shaft; the first input shaft is driven by the first intermediate shaft, and the second input shaft is driven by the second intermediate shaft; at least one of the first and second intermediate shafts is driven by the output shaft. By driving the output shaft through the first and second intermediate shafts respectively, multiple gear positions can be arranged. When the power from one of the first and second input shafts to the output shaft is weakened or interrupted due to gear shifting, it can be compensated by the other pair of power from the first and second input shafts, thereby ensuring that the output shaft has sufficient output torque. This not only improves the structural compactness and shifting smoothness but also makes it suitable for heavy-duty vehicles to shift gears on slopes.
