Abstract

This utility model provides a power cable joint connection device for a power grid substation, including an outer cable protective sleeve and an inner cable protective sleeve disposed inside the outer cable protective sleeve. A cable insulation layer covers the space between the outer and inner cable protective sleeves. A conduit is embedded inside the inner cable protective sleeve to connect the cable, and a cable compression ring is installed on the other end of the outer cable protective sleeve. The insulating cold-shrink tubing, cable insulation layer, and insulating filler work together to form a complete insulation system. The insulating cold-shrink tubing tightly wraps the connection area, providing additional insulation protection; the cable insulation layer plays a major insulating role between the outer and inner cable protective sleeves; and the insulating filler fills the gaps, further enhancing the insulation performance. This comprehensive insulation design effectively prevents leakage and short-circuit accidents, improving the safety and reliability of the power grid.
